I'm thinking of heading over for 4-5 days in January. Never been before so want to see it, just not 100% sure if I am wasting my time or not.

Those of you that have been, can you recommend the best areas to stay? Was thinking of just staying city centre and then catching taxis out to different parts, but it sounds like traffic is a nightmare.

I have stayed in different part of Floripa, but the best was Jurerê Internacional, which is where a lot of the action is in summer time. You have different alternatives for lodging, including hotels and amazing houses for rent.

It simply sucks there for mongering. I went to the island with the lagoon and it was a non event. Lots of beautiful woman but no P4 P.

Found the main city itself depressing. There was one rip off club near the main hospital and it truly sucked. Oh. And hardly anyone speaks English or even Spanish for that matter.

OK, so the people there are beautiful and friendly (so I had heard). But, the operative question is how is the place from a mongering standpoint? That's what we want to know. Do you have any useful insights and information regarding that?

Transportation is a bit of an issue, since most tourists here have cars. And there isn't a lot of shopping in my part of the beach.

The beach is far from the city, where the working ladies are.

"Thai lady staying with you" - you got her from Florianopolis? Is she doing just massage or more and how is scene there for mongering? And pricing? I plan to visit Brazil and this city in in my radar so appreciate your inputs.

Hey Group,

I was fortunate to make the escape from crazy ass USA before Covid lockdown talk began swirling. With the way things are going in California I might extend my stay. Anyways, just want to share my experience so far being in Floripa.

This is a beautiful island with tons of beaches. So far the P4 P has been the only success with limited Portuguese. If you don't speak the language or are traveling with someone that does you should stick to Rio or Sao Paulo. Women are beautiful here but if you want something organic it just won't work for to the language barrier.

P4 P was had at Bokarra and using the Private55 site.

Bokarra (Rating 8. 7): This step club was great. I went on a Thursday night and there were about 25-30 women there. The women were beautiful, but the language was limited. The most beautiful girl I met so far was from there. The action happens next-door and the room was nice and clean with a shower for before and after. Definitely check this spot out.

Private55 (Rating 7): The escorts on this site are not as prompt as the ones in Rio or Sao Paulo. If you want company start contacting 4 hours ahead of time. Just like any site you may be surprised when your girl arrives and doesn't look like the photos. I've used the site twice and had my worst escort and my best escort during my trip in Brazil. Both times they expected me to cover the Uber. Would be a rating of 5 if it wasn't for the last girl that I got.

Organic Try: Went to Club 300 in Jureré to try my luck with a non worker. Crashed and burned! Got to have the language to pull anyone. Judged as a foreigner and all the girls were part of table parties. My table was shit out of luck that night. Club was good, service great, attractive women, but no luck that night.

Special Note: 2 of the 4 girls that I had here that spoke any little bit of English said they learned the language from Australians that they lived with for 6 months. Two unrelated women with the 6 month Aussie live in. What the fuck is going on? Is it common for Aussies to spend 6 months down here and rent a Brazilian? If anyone has any info on the cost or arrangement for something like that let me know.

I'm thinking about making a trip to the lovely Florianopolis for a few days around Christmas time. Is it going to be completely dead or the opposite?

I have been in other cities in Brazil over the Christmas holidays. Things slow down considerably and come back to life close to New Year's.

Obviously, COVID is impacting life in many ways this year, but I don't think that will increase the action over Christmas.
