Yes, Floripa girls are pretty, but it is like going to California. They are rich girls, and daddy's girls, so why should they sleep with a gringo? They have young rich men like Guga, the international tennis star, who lives in Floripa. Also, many rich of Sao Paulo live here (I mean VERY RICH, they ride helicopters to work) so by comparison, most gringos are dirt poor.

In any case, because of this, the local pretty girls do not ***** themselves like the Northeast girls (who I prefer because they are pure GFE). So the hookers get ugly, and few. I would not recommend for whoring. Just for the nice beach, which is filled with well athletic rich beautiful young men and women. It reminded me of Newport Beach in California, a very surfer scene.

Perhaps I am confused. But 1) If you give the girl $100 US dollars aren't you essentiallly paying for the sex (the same as if you got a pro) 2) And giving her $100 US dollars you are paying 2x or 3x what you would pay a pro.

If you are still young below 40 and fit and can invest some money for ladies, this place is very easy to get non pros and students. I have been going back to Floripa quite often to get normal girls. I will share my technic with you.

The best place to pick up non pros are at the Praia Mole and Praia Joaquina, or in the Beira Mar shopping area. Try to get as many numbers as possible. After all its a game of probability. Then try to call all the numbers you get. Then get the girl to come out first. Then my tecnic starts. Always impress by taking her to a very nice place. I recommend Lagoa area or somewhere near any beach. After drinking and eating, I always tell the girl I only have one more night in Floripa before going home. This is important. And tell her really like to stay with her. Take her for a nice walk on the beach or at Lagoa. Thats why have to choose location well. My technic work 70 % of the time. Then take her to the hotel and try to work on her. If you succeed and want to see her again, I always tell her I want to buy her a present but have no time to buy and give her cash for her to buy a present. This is very important to say it this way. I usually give the girl about 100 US. I am sure if you like to see her again she will make time for you again.

My technic works on non pro students quite a lot. Also use the same technic in my another favorite place Thailand working on non-pro students. Sucess rate over 60% as well.

i would even say that your gringo cash is no factor to ALL girls since people from this region tend to be better educated and the degree of proverty in the south is much much less than other parts of brasil. incidentally, even if you are young and good looking, traveling alone actually hurt your chance of dating good single girls since they kind of guess what you are up to. unless of course you have business or work in brasil or flps. personally, i found the girls in this region much colder and non responsive to gringo than Rio or northeast.

one more note. even if you speak fluent portuguese and good looking, hitting on non pro girl prove to be difficult in this area. bottomline is, most upperclass girls will not jump into bed with you just after a few dates. yes, they are warm, good looking and make very good dates but if you are going after the quick laid, your chance is slim. given the limited time you have, things just get very difficult to develop. so, best option is to stick with the pros. but then you have better pro girls in SP or Rio than here since most of the top girls from this region go to Rio or SP to make the big bucks.

I've been to Floripa a year or so ago and I want to respond to some of the postings here and give my opinion.

Pros: we went to several establishment and they did not compare in quality to those in Rio. If you are into quality pro scence, stick to Rio, SP, and other cities know for that.

Non-pros: most girls are 9's and 10's and beyond believe beautiful. In my opinion the fact you are a gringo with cash is no factor to most of these girls. That means that unless you are a good looking college age through early 30s - your chances with no pros are slim. These girls are not much different from US college student girls in terms of attitudes and the kind of guys they are looking to hook up with. Basically, if you are not used to scoring a chick in the US without paying her, then you will not do better in Floripa.

My advice to take all ravishing reports about the non-pro action in the South of Brazil with a grain of salt. Keep in mind they might have been written by a college student, or somebody who's trying to promote local tourism.

I have always wanted to go to Florinapolis as I have met many girls in Rio from Florinapolis(Santa Catarina). They are beautiful, blond, German/Italian combination European type. Sometimes when the econony in Florinapolis is down they flock to Rio and I have been there to accomodate them.

Florianopolis is a nice place to take a vacation, but I did not have a lot of luck mongering there. There are lots of nice tanned blondes and the island beaches are great. I rented a car and drove around the island. The roads are safe, and, unlike in most of Brazil, the drivers are relatively sane. Also lots of vacationers from Argentina there, including lots of hot young Argentine gals.

I tried to find the street walker scene in Floripa, but struck out. There are lots of one way streets in the city, and I kept getting lost. Small boites and love motels line the road heading north from Floripa up to Canasvieras and the beaches at the north end of the island. But these all seemed like local-only places with low grade garotas. In Canasvieras, there is one upscale boite - SuperSoak International. Girls were 7s and 8s, and in their mid to late 20's. I got a tour of the rooms - they ranged from nice to luxurious, cost, however, ranged from R200 to R400. Since the room alone would cost what I would normally pay for whole thing(garota, room, drinks, etc), I bailed out at that point and waited until I got back to SP and Rio.

There are less poor people in Floripa due to more industrialization. Most people are middle class by Brazilian standards, girls are friendly, and not too snobbish, at least compared with other countries like the US, Spanish America or Europe and much easier to lay than in these places. For me, s snobbishness is relative, and compared with the NE any place is more snobbish. Obviusly you get a higher level of education and culture on the girls with sometimes bring snobishness but not enough to deter fun.

About the pro actionin Floripa, read my posts. I had a blast with a limited number of girls. I dont think that any city in Brazil sucks for mongering, no way

Floripa is the best!!

Lots of loiras (blondies), with nice tans and great attitudes. A great way of meeting young chicks is to rent a car, hitchiking is the preffered means of transportation by young people. You see lots of groups of groups of cuties asking for "carona" to go party all over the island. People have a very laid-back surfer attitude so its perfectly safe.

Check the weather channel. I was there in April and I got a combination of great and shitty rainy depressing days
