Anyone know if the Sol Jangada Fortaleza Hotel is guest friendly? It is on Avenida Abolicao in the Meireles neighborhood.

Also, anyone know a contact e-mail address for the (Best Western) Colonial Hotel in Meireles. Is that hotel guest friendly? There is also another Colonial Hotel in Iracema.

If you have to inspect her ID ------grab your drink and walk to another table. Some R in collusion w/POLICIA. Believe what I am telling you. If she looks to young--------she's too young. And listen to these guys when they say don't pay more than $R70-80 for entire night. I dont' care if she dressed nice, a 10 on the scale.
Pay no more than $80, walk away give it 20mins and they will be seated next to u ready to go.

This place is no RIO. The ratio is crazy 8 or 9 to 1 on any night all under 23yrs old. But no perfect 9's or 10's like RIO.

The most boys pay to much money for the girls. The real price is only 50 reals per night. Why? A girl who is working 7 days in a restaurant or in a hotel get only 50 - 70 reals per week. She must pay 20 - 30 reals for the bus per week. She's working from 4 - 4 in the night, waiting one hour for the bus in the morning and drive 1-2 h in her home. Tell this to the garotas and you don't must pay any more. I was 16 times in Brazil. I know it. The best way is to learn a little portugesh and you pay nothing, and then if you want give her a present, cash, and tell her she is no prostituite. You have than a lot of pleasure with lot of girls. I went in the city, shopping centers, there are lot of girls for nothing. In Brazil is the different girl - boy 8 : 1. You are the gringo, also the king and master. The girls love it. They are proud in the road with a foreinger. Not like in USA and Europe.

Fortaleza, used to be my play ground until the police got out of hand.

Easter will spoil your plans, believe me, shut down almost everywhere.

My main concerns are:

1. Quality of girls >>not more 8's,9's or 10's ---only RIO
2. Quantity of girls >>definitely more than RIO---3 times the volume and 18-19yr olds
3. Nightlife (i.e. Discos and bars open till late every day, etc)>> till 4
4. Prices (overheads & pussy)>> cheapest in all Brazil , I never pay more than 90 for all night. NEVER
5. Safety>> rough, the garotas are aggressive

You will love the place but don't even thing about the young girls, don't even think about it

I think I've been there over Easter -- and yes everything's closed. But then again, I could be wrong. Does this help? Fuck no? O.k., then.

Point is, I wouldn't call off Fort. due to Easter alone. It's a fun place (though many disagree) and you can easily pre-arrange dates with many girls for that one day off, anyway.

I may hit Fortaleza during Easter next year but am a bit concerned that Easter might fuck up the scene to some extent as it does in Rio (some bars and clubs closed, etc), so I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone who has actually been in Fortaleza over the Easter period in the past.

If the scene is really affected over that period I'll try to avoid it and travel on different dates.

I will go to Fortaleza in October 5 and then 2 weeks from there.

I have never been to Fortaleza in those low-season period, and I am quite curious how the Iracema area is like, as the Italians and Dutch has made their departure ? Is the number of girl normal, or is it slow ?

I have bought a VERY NICE 200m2 house close to the beach, in Porta Das Dunas ( 15 minutes from Beira Mar and the air-port, - 20 minutes from Praia Iracema ), and are going to prepare it for rental. Brazilians tourist hight season should be December - February.

If someone have experience on these, please PM me or post Your views. This is the Dream place, with Beach Park and the beautiful and safe Porto Das Dunas Praia 100 meters away. Its with 24/7 hours guard, but still you can drive from outside directly into the garage and house, so its vey private. Swimming pools, sauna and sports place is included for yourselfes, Your family or a group of friends! If there are interest for cheap rental, pls. PM me, and I can send You more Info.

It was for 2 hrs and I pay R$10 for 2 drinks. I am always in Fortaleza in DEC & FEB. I never pay tourist rates.

The most I pay for garotas is R$100 for all night. I have not paid about R$100 in 3 yrs for a garota in Forta.

Thats my purpose of choosing that city.

Guys you are paying much too much in Fortaleza, thats the reason we get out of RIO.

You can score for less than $R100 on the beaches and bars.

I could not agree more.

I never take a girl for one or two hours. The nice thing with North-East is that the girl expect to stay all night (if not longer). This is not Amsterdam RLD; 15 minutes, or Estonia brothels; 1 hour and then knock-knock on the door. If I decide to have her out of the room before, just ask her to leave.

I normally pay R$ 50 for all night, and I add R$ 10 - 15 for taxi for the girl. If I am very pleased, I sometimes pay R$ 100, but then nothing for the taxi. I never make agreement about the price in advance, the girls I choose do not ask for money, and this gives me the girlfriend feeling. The girl leave the room with a smile in her face.

The normal income in Ceara is for a housemaid about R$ 300 per month. This is 6 or sometimes 7 long workingdays per week. Very few can earn R$ 500. Please consider this when you pay them in the morning.

One may think that you can afford to pay too much, but please come in mind how expencive this will be for long time mongers!
