I am curious to know what is going on now at Mambo's, Zippy's and Armazem (Armazem only on Wednesdays).

Are they still full of programa girls?

If so, that's good enough for me. If not, will have to go elsewhere besides Fortaleza.

Anyone been to those Iracema clubs recently? If so, please let us know what the action is like now at those 3 places:

Mambo's, Zippy's and Armazem.

Zippy's, I've been, it's still alive and kicking, though the talent is far and few in between, no real hotties as such, some OK to nice girls. Mambo's is still working in full force, though, I've not been inside, but, it's defo the number one place to go, I've passed by there quite a few times, seems busy, I will check it out and report back.

Armazem, never been. I hear that Pirata's on Monday nights are full of GDP's, will check it out, hopefully, next week.

Having said all that, Fortaleza is a far cry from the impression I get that it once was. I was also in Natal few weeks ago, totally dry, few older girls here and there, nothing to write home about. On the other hand, I must mention that I got laid by non pros in Fortaleza, more than any other place in Brazil and I've been roaming around Brazil the last two years, however, that was all from online and non pro's, which is nice.

I am one of the earliest sexplorers of Fortaleza and contributor on this board. Since then, I have taken several trips. Here is what you do:

During the day: Buy local newspapers and look at the casa advertisements. Take any taxi off the road and hand him this paper. Buy some credit for his phone and have him call the several places. Go to various casas. If you like a girl, take her to a motel. Unless the place is half decent. If good chemistry, offer to take her out in the evening. Try to do that all day long. By the end of day, you will have one girl that is willing to go out with you for TLN. You may not even have to pay her. Unless you feel like paying her. For these casa girls, the offer will be hard to refuse.

During the Night: If you are unsuccessful at Zippy, take a taxi and ask him to take you to a strip club. You may find someone there that you would like!

Motels are cheap in Fortal. I prefer to take girls there for a test drive!

There used to be programa girls daytime at some of the beaches at Praia de Futuro, but that stopped a few years ago.

Did you try these clubs?:

Don't they still have Mambo and Bar 34 next door to Mambo (used to be called Cafe del Mar).

Mambo got filled up with programa girls later at night (after 12:30 or 1) when I was there.

Mambo has always been the top spot for action in town, although it's had different names.

Bar 34 did look kind of dead when I looked in.

Zippys had lots of programa girls until about midnight or 1, when I was last there in 2013...

Both, they have cleaned up Fortaleza, and also you're blind if you don't see any GPs. The priv scene is nothing compared to Rio or So Paulo. The Iracema GP scene is just a faint memory of what it used to be. Still there are plenty of GPs in Iracema and Beira Mar. IMO there are two ways of getting laid in Fortaleza. Going for non-pros or hook up with piranhas on the street, beach or in the clubs.

They were sure pretty successful in their clean up job, since my glasses are quite clean, on the streets, as such, it's pretty empty, no girls by day along the beaches and.

Not much in the evening in all the places where people mentioned that there was up to 50 girls, like near the cathedral or along Beira Mar. & Abolicao, there is "quase nada".

There. The Prive scene is pretty scares too, the only place there are still some action are in zippys and Mambo forro, as far as I can see, the rest is dead!

Normal boys and girls, out on the play, no hookers to be seen nearly anywhere, very little to no street action on all locations mentioned, the clubs still go on and the Prive's too, but really nothing exciting, why has this town got a name as a paradise for horny old men looking for pretty hotties, I don't know. Or they've cleaned up the place, or I'm blind? Please enlighten me.

Also, did you try Armazem on Wednesday nites? That had lots of programa girls when I was there in 2013.

Armazem starts late though, after 12:30 or 1:00.

There were also a few programa girls in 2013 (though not as many as years ago) in the early evening in the outdoor cafes on Beira Mar
across the street from McDonalds.

Have all these places changed? Mambo, Zippy's, Armazem, and the others? Are these places dead now? Are they closed or no more Programa girls?

Both, they have cleaned up Fortaleza, and also you're blind if you don't see any GPs. The privê scene is nothing compared to Rio or São Paulo. Canoa Quebrada is located close to Fortaleza, so I put the update in this thread.

General: Canoa Quebrada offers very nice beaches, relaxed atmosphere and excellent restaurants.

Nightlife: Concentraded to a 100 m strip on Broadway. Bar Todo Mundo, Canoa Central, Bar do Reggare, Meu Xodo, Caverna etc. Good lightlife only on weekends.

Pro's: There are about two dozens of pro's. A handful hot ones. However, the majority are oldies. Girls that I saw in Canoa 20-25 years ago. They used to f*ck for free. Now they are desperate trying to earn a living. Doesn't help they have bought silicontits. Don't come to Canoa hoping to find lots of hot GPs.

Non-pro's: Canoa has been one of the easiest places in Brazil getting laid for free. There used be lots of girls coming from other cities and villages wanting to have sex with gringos for free. Also many girls from the neighbour city Aracati. Things have changed a lot. Canoa is no longer that popular. It's still relatively easy to getting laid with a non-pro, but the hot ones are few.

One reason Canoa is going downhill is because the locals are getting greedy. Several of the small clubs on Broadway have started to charge a R$10 entrance. This is ridiculous. In Canoa people are used to wander around from bar to bar for free. The locals are not interested in wasting money on entrance fees. Resulting in that they stay in Aracati and ignore Canoa.

Safety: Be aware that some of the girls are bandits. They might put Boa Noite Cinderela in your drink and together with their friends they clean out your room.

That you are quite an expert on the Fortaleza scene, I've been here in Brazil for the last 2 years, had my fair share of girls, mostly via online dating sites, however, would love to go out and hit the local places, the pros, the semi pros and the non pros alike. I always stay at Vila Costeira on Avenida Beira Mar. It's about 2 miles east of Iracema.

(to the right as you face the ocean). It's an "apartment hotel".

Was last there in October 2013. It was still guest friendly at that time.

Can't remember the price, I think at least $70 US per night at the time.

Probably a little more now. But buffet breakfast included.

... I found an excellent newly renovated pousada in a perfect location with kingsize-bed, AC...

* Zipi Bar: R$10 minimum consumption (one beer). Nice to hang out and observe. Lots of girls. The majority of the girls are not very exciting, but you can find gems.

I might be able to go to Forta, but only for a couple of days.
As my plane would arrive only at night, I would very much apreciate if you could tell us the name of this pousada so I could go straight there and give it a try. May I assume this pousada was girl-friendly?

Girl friendly: yes!

And I did feel very comfortable in Hotel Americas! It is sort of old fashioned, colonial style, no luxury. But it was nice for me, and I did have a lot of fun with the GDP in this hotel.

But this was some years ago, don't know about how it is today.
