Well, about 30 minutes from Iracema to Maracanau, with traffic. Would like to get into the interior, but I don't know my way around much, and all my Brasilian friends are GDPs, so can't rely on them to show me around the interior! Rsrsrsrs.

Ok thank you guys, these 2 VILLAGES you mentioned are just 5 min drive to fortaleza, so I wouldn't really call it "Interior". Ok you could do some research for yourself but go the unbeaten path, a bit more "in the lands". Therre are ver very rare diamonds waiting for you. Hhahahah. Willl be next weekend in a very nice city for some business, I ight write a report of the situatgion over there.
Ohh yeah. P. S. DEVILEYES: I think you were just too drunk to really notice what was going on around you. LOL

Agreed. Good info Green and Yellow. And, no, I don't own one of the triangle clubs =).
G&Y. What's your take on Maracanau or Caucaia for amateur possibilities (with Portuguese capabilities, of course)? I got into a relationship with a girl I met at Mambo in Fortaleza who is from Maracanau and I spent some time there with her last year. Saw lots of nice looking women around town and they definitely had their eye on me as an unusual sight as a gringo in the small town (also caught too many eyes from dudes looking like they wanted to kick my ass out of town and give their woman back).

OK. So since I was free today, I returned to Boa Vida, to see if I was too drunk last time and submitted a bogus report. Nope, It was pretty much the same today (again. Sunday). Things got interesting after about 4:00pm in the shack where the band is playing. I found that eyes lock on you right away, if you are alone or with another gringo. You will need to go to them most likely, but I could not leave there without at least one hookup. I now know where I will spend my weekends. At the beach for lunch and back to the hotel for desert.

No fighting, please! You're both right.
What we need in this forum is new updated information. Everybody is just reporting about the same old stuff. Things changes quickly. Some people, including me, doesn't care about sharing new info because nobody else bothers to do it.
G.A.Y mentined Mossoró (Rio Grande do Norte). That's propably a very good suggestion. I've never been there, but propably 30% of the girls who opens up their legs for you in Canoa Quebrada comes from Mossoró.
Info like this is just what we need in this forum.
Cheers.

Next stay will be in Santa Catarina and Parana, so forget about the north.

We just want information before we travel. OkOK so give me some, looking at your post you haven't gave none.
But better pack your bags and head to an other place.
It's sad that other people don't talk about the places that are hot right now to go just because they don't want then to be destroyed by Yanks and north americans.
But I'm telling you there are some places right now still alive like fortaleza back in the days, but you got to dig deeper if you know what I mean.
Nevertheless there are some nice cities close to frt that are worth mentioning.
Well, so what are YOU telling us? What is YOUR advice to all the mongers? If you claim to be Brazilian and hence an expert. Why don't YOU share your experiences? Don't you blame others for not contributing good advices if you are just doing the same.
HMMM, okok, I'll share my experiences in the interior if you share you experiences? Because looking at your posts we haven't had any info of you, why you on this board, for sure you ain't not providing info. Yes I'm brazilian and PROUD. I'm telling you go to the interior and you will have a much better experience. Where are you staying, in ceara, or Rio grande de norte. If you tell me where you are I can tell you some nice places. Let's start with Mossoro, is a very nice city to meet amateurs, they will be very happy to meet an gringo like you and show you a good time, only if you speak portugeas a bit because english over there is the same as talking japanese in los angeles. So please stop attacking me with your posts and lets keep it real over here ok!

Hi JD,
You're prob one of those owners of the 2/3 clubs left, hence you're post, come on please be honest to the persons from this forum, we just want information before we travel. I know, you need customers to stay alive with your business, but better pack your bags and head to an other place cause fortaleza is not the same bro, I know this and U know this so stop the propaganda, you know what I'm talking about, I'm an brasilian so I know what I'm talking about. It's sad that other people don't talk about the places that are hot right now to go just because they don't want then to be destroyed by Yanks and north americans, I'm sorry but it's a fact when a city in brasil get's a lot of nort american tourist that they destroy the place. But I'm telling you there are some places right now still alive like fortaleza back in the days, but you got to dig deeper if you know what I mean.
Jd Garbanzo.
Thanks for staying away. Just returned from Fortaleza and had a blast. Seriously fun time, packed Zipi and Mambo. Mostly with girls vs punters, which is the right ratio. Prices still good. Took a girl out and stayed with her 3 days / nights for 400 and some serious paixão.

The place got old and all the girls seem to be married up with an italian or spanish guy. Only the die hards still go to the 2/3 bars that are still open due to the recession. They ask prices that are hilarious like 150-200 reais for tln. Don't fool yourself this were the same girls that will go with you for 50-75 reais just 2 years ago. They got stuck up and the tourism got very sloww so the beaches and city are dead. I should skip this city and go more to the interior where happens more for more reasonable prices. And where they treat you like a rockstar bcoz they haven't been visted by so many tourists like fortaleza. Plus never mind that its a very dangerous city, just google up the crime rate. Nevertheless there are some nice cities close to frt that are worth mentioning.
