Spent some days in Hotel Americas. Good quiet place to stay, no problems with girls, around 80 R$ / day.
Service of the girls range from nearly GFE to hard-core pros trying to rip you off. Never pay more than 100 R$ for TLN!!! Some started 200/2h....
This one was lovely but asked not to show her face which was quite nice with an indian touch. To be found anywhere in Iracema.

Newbie here! Where are the beautiful garotas in Fortaleza? Termas, GDP, or at certain hang outs? What is the ratio during the middle of the week? Any hotels in good areas recommended that allow guests?
What is the risk for Herpies in Brazil...I read one in four is infected! You have this for life.
Has anyone used motels for their room for the night instead of getting a regular room? Sundays - Thursdays are usually 12 hour rates which is enough time for fun & sleep.

Also right: the girls around Iracema bars often do look similar and represent one type of girl (the one discribed as short, big belly, no waist etc), but there are absolutely beautiful women in Forta - they just seem not to go as GDPs and not to frequent this area.
More to share including pics when I will have more time!

"Short, plump, stocky, fat stomachs, flat asses, horrible sight and out of shape women." Sure, Fortaleza has it's (big) share of short cabeça quadrada's without necks. That bodyshape is quite common in some regions of the north-east.
Still there are plenty of beauties in Fortaleza, so why go for the unattractive girls? You can't judge a city just because you've seen a dozen of football-shaped-head-women. Me, I've never seen so many fat people as I saw when visiting the US. Because of this I don't categorize americans in general to be fatso's.
When I travel in Brazil I do this little game, when going on a bus or sitting down having a beer. I count 100 women in the age 18-35 passing by, counting the percentage of women which I think are doable. Fortaleza has a good percentage.
Anyway, each to their own. I'm just as happy if the Rio-mongers stay in Copa. Less gringos means better GP-market for me. I only have to share the Fortaleza GP's with thousands od Italians and Dutch tourists.

Posts: 6Went to Fortaleza about two months ago, and you will not. I repeat WILL NOT see many "bubble butts." Me, I saw nothing but fat stomachs, and flat asses. Yeah, I know, a pretty horrible sight...and it was. Coming from Rio, I was pretty much in shock. Also, there's ot much variety. no black girls, and most of the girls have an indian look to them with a few loirdas here and there.

But overall, I think Fortaleza is a good "starting point" for guys who have never been to the NE before. For myself, it was good "practice" before heading north to São Luis, Belém, etc. I agree with you that, if you can, spend three or four weeks there, and then move on to neighboring cities/states.Last edited by Admin; 09-10-07 at 23:15.
