A small warning about one of the privês in Edifício Antônio Simões, sala 405. All the privées in this building are very welcoming, except sala 405. Manaus has one of the best nightlifes in Brazil, specially if you like forró. There are clubs open every day of the week. The clubs are located almost all over the city with Centro as an exception.

To avoid spending time and lots of taxi money you have to find out which clubs that are really open. This is a problem as Manaus is the capital of misinformation. Very often the information you get are false. The clubs are located on Av Turismo, Cidade Nova, Japiim etc. Very spread out. New clubs open and old clubs close or change names. Check with the taxidrivers which clubs are working.

I won't recommend any special clubs as everyone has a different taste. However, you could try Cabana, Tenda Hall, Copacabana, Via Norte/Planeta Talisma, Forró dos Tres, Forró de nos, Forró de João, Casa da Mamãe, Boteco Ideal, Calcadão and the list could go on forever. Some clubs are considered dangerous by the locals. Those clubs are often the most fun clubs.

You won't have much of competition from the local guys. They are mostly short and chubby guys dressed in flipflops, surf T-shirts and caps turned backwards. A tall gringo stands out very much. Being blond or having blue eyes helps a lot when meeting girls in Manaus. Manaus is definitely one of the easiest cities when it comes to meeting regular girls. In all the years I've been in Manaus I never visited a privê. Today was the first time. I went to Edifício Antônio Simões, Av Sete de Setembro 1251, next to lojas Americanas.
The puteiros are in sala 101, 405, 905 and 1104. About 4-6 girls working each sala.
They charge R$100/60 min, R$80/30 min. Sala 101 is a bit cheaper R$80/60 min, R$60/30 min. Prices are propably negotiable. Special promotions if you choose a dupla. The 60 min options are completa, including anal.

A welcoming and homely atmosphere in all the puteiros. The best girl was maybe a 7. I'm spoilt with the Rio privées so I didn't get excited at all. Furthermore none of the girls in these privées does BBBJ, only CBJ. The price at these privées shouldn't cost more than R$40/30 min. I didn't session.

A quick update on Remulos. Remulos used to be one of the wildest strip-clubs in Brazil. Unfortunately it keeps declining in quality.

Rua Lobo D'Almada, 363. Two blocks from Teatro Amazonas.
Opens around 5 PM. Closes late.
Entrance=R$20. Free entrance between 5-7 PM.
Beer: R$5/33 ml can inside or R$8/600 ml bottle in the outside bar.
Sitting in the outside bar is the poor mans alternative as you don't have to pay the R$20 entrance. You miss the stripshow, but you'll be able to see the arriving girls in better light.
Girls=asking for R$50-100/30-60 min (ALL the girls can be negotiated).
Room: Rooms upstairs cost R$23. (big clean rooms with AC and some with jacuzzi). The rooms next to the reception are the nicest and biggest. If you take a freelancer you can bring her to one of the motels on the Remulos-street.
About 50 girls working on a good evening, including freelancers. Yesterday, Tuesday, there were about 30 girls.
Strip-show: Some girls do a very good show, and others almost makes you go sleeping.
Table-dance: Many girls accept to do a table-dance on your table. Touching, and sometimes fingering/licking is allowed.

Side-note 3: People here are very friendly but not as educated like in Rio. Nose-picking in public seems to be a popular hobby.

Side-note 4: The majority of the girls have indian blood. Short, chubby, fat, lazy and often ugly. In return the small minority of the beautiful girls are stunners. With a few exceptions most stunners are below 25 years. Caution: check the girls ID very well.
