I would like to update you about the Remulos club in Manaus. By the way. That's my first report, we are staying 3 day's here in Manaus, one "Brasileiro" and I am from Europe/Germany. With help of this (and other related) forums I was able to prepare my itinery very well (thanks a lot) and I would like to give you my experience now back.

We are located in the IBIS hotel and the guy in the hotel recommended to pick up a taxi at Esplanade (kind of gambling hall). This was a good choice (some meters from the hotel to walk but avoids expesive taxi driving). Each person to downtown 5 BRL. We entered famous Remulos (entrance fee now 10 BRL, beer 3 BRL, we asked for the fees for an hour: 50 BRL). It was maybe too early this evening, about "20 chicas" available, 4 or 5 really good locking (8-9). After "warming up", watching some table dances we decided to go upstairs for about 30 min. The fees were a little bit different than announced (60 BRL+15 room charge, rooms are with shower and "clean"). Was a good choice, two wonderful girlies, long hairs, slim body, GF6, I additionally had "no clock watcher".

You can have a lot of fun there, but to be honest: with a little bit knowledge of the Portuguese language it runs better. Thanks god I had somebody with me to negotiate the taxi prices and girlie prices as well.

The taxi back to the IBIS we negotiated to 20 BRL.

upstairs in the rooms it's ok, if the girl allows you.

The stripper girls prefer to do it upstairs in the club. They might not be able to leave the club until they have finished their shifts. The free-lancers are up to your negotiation skills if you will be able to bring them back to your hotel.

I don't know if Tropical is girl-friendly, but I would guess so.

In principle, ALL Remulos girls will be available to take out without any casa fees (If they'd tell you there is a fee they are lying). As Sperto said, the stripers may have to wait until they are done dancing to leave.

In my opinion, ANY Remulos girl will be thrilled to spend a night at the Tropical since it is the best, most expensive and luxurious hotel in town. On the positive side, this may be a powerful allure to any girl.

On the negative, if you're (supposedly) on a budget, they'll think you are rich and they will try to overcharge you accordingly. If you don't speak the language, don't have the ability to negotiate or have the looks, they'll expect more R$ from you than the normal Remulos patron: poorly paid Manaus Free Zone workers.

Another big problem is distance: any taxi will charge R35-R50 for that ride EACH WAY, unless you have your own car, or take the bus (which I wouldn't do)

I suggest you try "Laranjinhas" bar in Ponta Negra. It's a huge open air bar/restaurant located 400-500 meters from the Hotel entrance so you can walk.

It is famous for the live BOI show and also famous for being a nightly meeting point of many GDP looking for gringos staying at the Tropical. They are easy to spot as 95% of the women there are working. No Manaus decent girl will sit in this place risking to be ID as a puta.

Expect to be asked R120-R250 for TLN. Depending on your negotiating skills, language skills, charms, etc, you can bring it down significantly.

The Tropical pussy friendly? I never asked. Call them now and ask.

R$ 50 isn't cheap enough for you?
If you want it cheaper you better go to VM or the R$1/min casas in Rio or the trash-areas in São Paulo. Other than this I've no suggestion at all, except to raise your budget.

I will be in Manaus on a business trip in early December. According to what I have read here, "Remulos" is the best option for pussy-searching in the Amazon capital.
Does anyone know whether it opens on Mondays??? It is not usual in many Brazilian cities.

Remulos is open all days of the week (that is if the club is still working).
