I will be in Manaus on a business trip in early December. According to what I have read here, "Remulos" is the best option for pussy-searching in the Amazon capital.

Does anyone know whether it opens on Mondays??? It is not usual in many Brazilian cities.

Another question: is it easy to find pussies willing to take a hard fuck back in the hotel? And for how much? Any fee to be paid to the house?

Thanks Howman, I'll try best western, as for the TAJ MAHAL, broken elevator, cold water that is even colder midday as to save money when most people arent showering. Very expensive even in a slow time with few occupants. Its like most businesses in Brasil, once past their prime, they don't reinvest in them, just milk them for as long as they can. This place really sucks. As for remulos, went on a tues and it was really bad, maybe 30 girls but all poor quality 4-6 many older mom types very dark indian look, I saw 2 or 3 that were maybe a 7, maybe. I can't recommend coming here for that place.

Went to toca das frutas, a nice club that was clean and full of people by midnight, don't come before 11, good any tues so I hear. It was good for me. Lots of pretty locals, non working but easy to meet and talk to. I speak portuguese though.

It was a while ago but I stayed at the Best Western downtown. It wasn't close to $100 and had hot water and good AC. There was a nightclub around the corner that I had the absolute craziest night of my life. The brothers that work at the guarana smoothie shop across the street from the Best Western were my "ambassadors".

Time for a yearly update on Manaus.

PRO SCENE ********************************************

* REMULOS, strip-club:
First on the list is my favourite strip club in Brazil.
Great atmosphere and nice environment.
Rua Lobo D'Almada, 233 .Two blocks from teatro Amazonas.
Opens 18-19. Close very late.
Entrance=R$ 7
Girl=R$ 40-50/30 min, R$ 70/60 min
Room=R$ 15 (big clean rooms with AC and jacuzzi)
Beer=R$ 3 (Skol)
Tabledance=R$ 10
About 40 girls working, including freelancers.
Quality=at least 40% doable, some stunners.
Note 1: A small decline in quality of the girls (let say 10-20%) compared to last Year.
Note 2: The girls might ask gringos for R$ 60-70/30 min and R$ 100/60 min. Bargain is easy. ALL girls at Remulos, NO EXCEPTIONS, will agree to R$ 50/30 min, R$ 70/60 min. If you tell them you don´t want anal many of the girls go down to R$ 40/30 min. Stop spoiling them!
Note 3: Remulos girls are normally very flexible with the time. If you pay for 30 min they might just as well stay with you 50 min if you want a second pop.
Note 4: You also have the option of Sala Vip, R$ 30. You go to a quickie-room behind the strip stage and can stay for a period of during 2 songs (about 10 min). After 10 minutes one of the Orc-looking giant security guys will open the door. The Sala Vip is for the really poor guys.

Girl=R$ 40/30 min, R$ 60/60 min
Room=R$ 10 (quite clean rooms with AC)
Beer=R$ 2,5
About 20 girls working, including freelancers.
Quality=usually always 3-4 very nice girls.

* CENTRO CLUBS, LOW END:
- Close to the port, next to the Banco do Brasil there are two side-treets with lots of bars and strip-clubs. Located behind the bus stop (look for the sign "Hotel Central"). Some of these places are for daytime action.
- On the first street you´ll find 4 strip clubs:
# Natureza: Small place. The strippers comes down to the stage through the roof on a pole.
# Mistura Fina: Big place. Tabledances.
# Big House: Big place.
# Aquarella´s Bar: Big place. Tabledances.
None of them charge a entrance fee.
- On the second street you´ll find ho-bars.
# Bar Anaconda
# Bar Holanda
# Bar do Junior
# Diplomata Drinks Bar
# Novo Mania
- All of these places on these two streets are very sleazy lowend places. They can be quite fun.
- About 90% of the girls are not doable. There might be a gem...
- R$ 20-30/ 30 min, R$ 7-10/room

* STREETWALKERS:
Quite a few freelancing streetwalkers in centro. You´ll often find a few at the restaurant Mitoso down at Praca do Indio in centro. Some of them work at Remulos in the night. A few nice ones.

* Manaus is just about unbeatle in Brazil for non-pro action. It´s extremely easy to hook up with regular girls. The nightlife is fantastic.

- If you want to save some money you can take a bus going to the club.
Cidade Nova: bus 300 or 640, Ponta Negra: bus 120
- Taxi: depends on the location. About R$ 20-35. Bargain!

NOTES ON THE MANAUS GIRLS ******************************
- The main occupation for the regular girls in Manaus is going out to party and having a lot of sex with different guys.
- As a gringo it´s extremely easy to get laid in Manaus. Just smile, party and have your pick. Serious and stiff guys will not get laid.
- There are some exceptions, but most of the regular girls you´ll meet in the forró clubs just want to have a one night stand or a very short romance. Might sound harsh, but f**k and move on to the next girl. Don´t get to serious with a Manaus girl and try not to fall in love with them.
- Try to get the girl back home in the same evening you meet her to avoid dating her. Manaus girls are the worst girls to date in Brazil as they always are very much late (worse than in the rest of Brazil).

Here is my story: Got to Manaus and stayed at the 10 De Julho hotel, more like a bread and breakfast than a real hotel. It is centrally located, near Internet Café’s, restaurants and right down the road from the Amazonas Theater. If you haven’t been there, it is amazing that such a nice building exists smack in the middle of the Amazon. Manaus has over 2 million inhabitants.
However, one of the reasons the hotel was selected (Thanks Pelicano) was because it is within walking distance from Remulos, the city’s hot spot. The address listed on their website is incorrect. Instead of 233 it is more like 359 D’Almata Avenue. Prices (Well at least for me) were 7 Reals entrance; 15 reals for the rooms and for the chicas was 70reals for 30 minutes and 100 reals for the hour. Remulos itself seems to be a converted hotel; on the first floor is where you have the stage, strippers (They rotate dancers from night to night, accounting at times for the outfits they wear), and I counted at least 75 girls in various states of dress. Some were there in full ho gear, others dressed nicely in dresses and jeans. There is someone there to placate even the most discriminating tastes. The entrance is right down the middle of the building (Building is 5 stories high, red and blue tile all over, Hotel Remulos sign on the side easily seen from the street as you walk towards the building), find the ticket booth (On the left side, right below the 25 inch TV in the hall leading to the entrance). Get in and walk the place!!!
There is some kind of hierarchy here amongs the girls, however. Some think they are too good to be with you, some want to get with you and some are just happy to be there. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is perfect for us in the hobby. Don’t feel bad about one girl who doesn’t wish to get with you, keep moving. There is always someone willing to take care of your every need. I chose Tamara (35C, 27, 36, about 5’4” tall, and 120 lbs), a 27 year old from Parana to get with on my first night; I just wanted to get a good feel of the place. She was very friendly and accommodating. She wanted to make sure I was happy with her service. It was a feast! As I said before, I really love this country. Total damage for the encounter: 7 Reals entrance, 2 Reals water, 15 Reals room, 100 reals for girl for 1 hour, total damage 124 Reals.

From the ship at the port to Remulous, very easy to find in daytime, early evening, due to roughness in the area other hours than this would definitely recommend a taxi there which should be 10 Real's or US$5.00 each way.

As mentioned in the other post, I arrived B4 Remulous
at the cybercafe down the street (2nd cafe down going towards port), where they asked me my name so gave them Art Fartzalot, they didn't speak English so it went by them...

A bit later probably 6:45 ish, Remulous was in process of opening when I came in, nicely, got sent back to the window to buy an entrance ticket, then came in, bouncers at door were friendly.

Sure I was way early not a lot of gals at work yet, I saw 3 gals, one real nice shorter one, no tatoo's, nice large breast sure tit job but they were nice. very nice body, kinda brown hair.

My Portugese is very bad, but she and I talked, the other gals, were young not bad bodies , one had large tatoo which turned me off, one mentioned maybe to my gal that she was first in line, but I wanted the one I was with, as Sperto cautioned me I was a bit early and now realize I was way early and more would be coming in but wanted to get things done and this gal was nice, and she was good in bed.

After we agreed to agree, she took me by the hand, and led me up the steps to the hotel above and I paid the gal I think about 12 Reals, and we were given a key to the room, there are snacks, and drinks upstairs as well , and there were a couple other girls up there that were maybe off work, getting ready to go to work kinda thing, I was very happy with mine.

Very affectionate, gave great head, good fucking any position I cared, she liked being on top, doing it doggy style,, it takes me longer these days to come but after about 40 minutes did good tit fuck on her big tits and came like a mfer, room had a jacuzzi and shower adjoining it, at top of stairs to the right, was empty we didn't use, just the bed. US $5.00 got me back to the port.

Remulous, Well WORTH IT, and would say why go anywhere else, there are pool tables down stairs, stage where gals dance, if I am ever in Manaus again, hope they are open.

Manaus, has a dark side, later back at port in place by the ship met a local gal who spoke English, was no where near as good looking as Remulous, she works at coffee shop by the port and I was already satisfied from Remulous gal but wound up going out with her, ate some food, we wound up going to a noisy bar nearby the port, I rarely drink these days and told her so, this chick seemed to want to get me drunk, and was ordering beers, spending my money, she asked me if we got a hotel would I buy her a pair of shoes or a dress in the am and I said no problem but I had plans to go to Scientific Park, she said, she had to work also so we go on long walk to a hotel in the port, guy wanted 20 Reals, which I had US $20, she tried to con me and change the US $20 for 20 Reals, and then play off like I don't know what your countries monies worth.

I decided enough is enough, said well, Thanks but no Thanks I'm going back to where I know some other hotels are, she decides she wants to go home which is fine for me, we got to where all the buses etc line up in front of the port, and she asked me for money to get home and to buy her a dress, now in this period she did take me to Hotel Amazonas in between so I might look at a was $9000.00 tiny furnished 1 bedroom hotelroom for sale that was nicely redone and now guy wants $20k for, we looked at and I told the guy I'd get back with him, and she did escort me there so I gave her US $10.00 for bus/cab fare and said good bye.

This was around 12 30 am, same time, in front of the police station, guy off ship was carrying a camera, was robbed of the camera, wallet by setup situation, gal started talking to him, guy came up and put choke hold around him knocked him unconsious, so port area which I was told could be dangerous definitely seemed dangerous.

Another passenger was walking in a group of 2 couples and someone came and ripped a gold chain off his neck that was not hanging way out there, must have been spotted coming off the ship, folks coming off cruise ships in Manaus could be real easy to target as most naive as to the city, I had been once b4 so knew to be cautious. Scientific Park, and Meeting of Waters are two tourist attractions in the area worth visiting as is the Fish Market near the port.

Sperto's info on Remulous 110% spot on and appreciate... Thanks much for this board, not gotta find something here in Port of Spain, TRINIDAD that is safe and may be difficult, will be in DR next week so may just wait and go listen to a steel drum band.

Nice map on this site to get to Remulous, I came off a ship at the Port and found very easily, will let u all know my experiences , ship has websense and can~t get thru to Jackson~s proxy blocker on it as websense blocks it.

Ship will be at Port of Spain, Trinidad , New Years Eve and will hit DR B4 sailing back to Pt. Everglades, so looking forward to going back to the DR as is great mongering place.

2 cybercafes on Rua Lobo Dalmada on same side of street as Remulous just down the street and see several by the hour hotel/motels as well, see another club in the afternoon with musica so may stop in as gotta couple hours to go B4 Remulous opens.

Quite safe, but still be on alert. There are some nasty travecas close to the Teatro.
