I spoke to a buddy from Natal this morning, he confirmed me all bars are opened normally at this street.

Fuso Horário is on Rua of Salsa, to the latest reports it's all normal, bars opened normaly

Now is called Area Jardim and inside there are few bars, (Fuso Horario, Borboleta Preta.).

20R$ (I'm not sure exactly) of entrance fee and they put a yellow bracelet in your wrist. Sunday to Tuesday is bad, only 5-10 girls. From Wednesday to Saturday 20-30 girls at most. Most of the girls are asking 200R$ TLN.

I'm just trying to find out if Fuso Horario is still open. I can't get a straight answer.

Glad Fuso Horario was open a month ago. I am planning to go to Natal and Fortaleza this October. I might skip Natal if Fuso Horario, which is on Salsa street in Ponta Negra, is closed. I was worried about it being closed because a poster named "GreenandYellow" wrote a post on this forum last June. He wrote that almost all the bars in Natal were closed. This got me nervous about Fuso Horario being closed. (He also wrote that most of Fortaleza's bars shut down too, but not sure if that is true.)

Anyway, this is part of what he wrote on this Natal forum last June 25:

"They all closed, whats left off the once so alive street is only 2 or 3 bars that are not mentioned naming over here. The scene for tourist in ponta negra disappeared all. This is what the government did already for the big clean up for the world cup in 2014.".

Anyone with contacts in Natal, please let me know if Fuso Horario is still open now, still has programa girls, and if the government is planning to close it soon because of World cup soccer.
I hope it is still open and swinging as before, when I arrive in October of this year.

Does that mean Fuso Horario is still open? Or are they bars on Salsa Street that are not in Fuso Horario?

After a reserch I've got the confirmation from a GDP Paula Dias, that the majotity of the bars there are open.

Well, the Hotel "3 Magos" at the praia do artistas is the best hotel for men like us, last time (2 yrs. Ago) they did not mention how many girls you take with you. In front of the hotel there were crowds of garotas.

On the other beaches there is silence and expensive hotels!

Maybe I return this dec, so let me know is somethings has changed.

It's still a very good place to stay, but you have to have some Porto skills, this is not a gringo's habitat, but you can find exceptionally good GDP's for a fraction of the cost of Ponta Negra

I´ve stayed with a garota in a motel near by R$ 30,00 ; the garota R$ 80,00 for a wholw afternoon!

Yesterday went there, at the happy hour.

There has been a campaign in the local press against those bars, but I still have no confirmation if theseplaces are closed.

But anyway there are lots of GDP's at the Ponta Negra, specially in the late afternoon / beggining of the night.

I'm waiting my buddie's report confirming that fuso horáRio is open.
