Completely agree about cidade Baixa. I went to a club, and made out with chicks, I didn't bring any home, but fuck it was a ton more fun than Gruta Azul, even though I didn't get laid. So, I got this PM, and I saw this post. So, I am going to answer the question, but first, I am going to say why it is the wrong question.

The question is "Where would be the best area to stay that is near the prives that you liked such as BR Top Massagens or Sauna Guiba?

First, the reason it is the wrong question is: there is much more to Brazil and life than just sex; sex is a necessasary, but not sufficient component to happiness, even in the short term (a few weeks, or days).

The right questions are (in order):

1. What is the best place in Brazil for Non Pros?

1. So far, in my limited experience (15+ trips, 5+ years), POA is the best, and most likely FLN is better or at least close. Maybe there are other areas in Brazil that are as good or better. POA and FLN are better than Salvador and Manaus, and better than RJ. The reason is that the morenas are as good as Rio de Janeiro, eg, the morenas in the prives and the morenas in the termas; but, the blond germanic, and black haired italian brazilian women in Porto Alegre are really super attractive.

This is not just true of the pros, in fact, it is more true of the non pros. And they are approachable. I mean, I am not the smoothest guy on the planet, but in POA I actually went to movies with two 18 year old women after literally 5 minutes in a coffee shop. I got the number of a blond, really beautiful, blond no-shit college student at the top college in RS, just by sitting there and chatting on a metro. So, if I actually tried to get a relationship going with non pros ahead of travel to POA, how much more successful would I be?

It boggles my male imagination.

2. The best 'hood in POA is Cidade Baixa. It just is. This is centered on the street, Rua General Lima e Silva. The best little movie theater. The best night club (Club Opiniao). I went to Opiniao with a pro on a Saturday night after sex, and we were there for 5 hours, dancing to electronic, followed by sex the next morning. It was the real deal, what Brazilian 25 year old women do. She initiated the bar hopping, and going to the dance place.

3. Now, onto the question. IF mongering alone is the question, the best place to stay would be between BR Top and 1363 Benjamin Constant. See the pictures, and you can look up the addresses.

If you want the best POA experience, go for non pros ahead of time (that's my plan); the best neighborhood that I've personally experienced was cidade baixa; and the best prives are the two above. My plan for the terma would be, as with Rio, session at the prives (150 r) earlier in the day, and then go to the terma just to spectate or to get numbers. For sauna guiaba, session only with the "pacote" of 280 r on Tuesday and tthursday. Use GPGuia for selecting GDPs from the internet.
