I arrived Recife last night from Rio. The flight is approximately 3 hours. After checking in the hotel I found out about going to Sampa club, which is on Boa Viagem beach. I booked my hotel and trip through a travel agent but luckily I found out that Sampa Club is only 4 blocks away.

The entrance fee for Sampa Club is R$20 and as soon as I entered I figured out that this club is nothing but a mini Help disco from Rio. There were about 50 girls in Sampa Club. The girls were pretty but just like Help very few deserved a second look. After being spoiled in Rio for the last two months I just couldn´t get my self to pay R$200 to any of those girls in Sampa Club. They were nothing more than a 6 or 7 in my book. Now if it was the freaking U.S. I would have gladly paid $80 for these girls for even 30 minutes of their time.

It was already 1:00 am when I left Sampa and started to walk towards Bamboo club. On the way I saw several girls that were pretty good looking. They were all over on that same street as Sampa and Bamboo Bar. I must have seen at least 100 plus girls on that street. After talking to couple of decent looking girls I found that the street price is R$40 per hour for these girls. I was tempted to stop right there and go with one of the street girls, but since it was my first day I wanted to finish checking out the local Bamboo Bar as well.

Unfortunately, by the time I reached Bamboo bar it started to rain pretty badly in Recife and I knew I am stuck with whatever is there in Bamboo Bar. The entry fees for Bamboo was R$10. As I entered the bar I was sure there is nothing worth even R$50 in that bar, but as I said I was stuck and had to have some action for the day so I started talking to one of the girls who was may be a 5 in my book. The girls attitude looked pretty good at the bar so after talking to her for a while I started talking prices with her. She starts with R$150 and settles for R$70 for 1 hour. We took a cab to a local hourly hotel which cost like R17 or so. The taxi ride to the hotel was another R$7.

The girls attitude turned pretty bad as soon as we entered the hotel room. She did not even want to do BBBJ, which is very important for me. She told me she would only do covered BJ, that pretty much pissed me off. She also started to make fun of me not being able to understand portuguese. I was sure tonight is turning from bad to worse, so I just did my business with her and had a lousy fuck once and told her that I am tired so vamos (let´s go). It was not at all a good experience for the first night but I am sure I will try again tonight. Let´s see what the lady luck brings me for tonight.

In short my first night recap is that come to Recife for it´s beautiful beaches and other stuff but Rio rules as far as mongering goes.

I went to Sampa tonight and there were a ton of 7+ girls. It was completely dead when I got there at 9:30 but by 11pm it was jumping. It was the hottest concentration of girls I've seen in my limited trips to Brazil (Rio once, Sao Paulo twice). Recife is a "must do" on my next trip (I was only here for one night on business this trip and have a very early flight).

I was not very optimistic due to the recent entries on the board but the selection was terrific. Just wish I'd had the time to pull one (or two or three or four for that matter).

The airport is in the city of recife located. I always took the bus. The bus is at your left when you leave the airport entrance. The bus makes a roundtour through Recife, including Boa Viagem. Or you can take a cab. Because the airport is in the city, just walk a little bit off the airport to the main road in front of the airport and take a cab there. With regular taxi's (never took an airport taxi) I almost never had problems. Only once when they didn't have change.

I'm in Bangkok now, the street scene is very bad due to pm taksin policues. I use a microbicide gel instead of condom, no problem. I want to go to receife in early november just wanting to know if the street girls would be ok with gel instead of condom. In other words do most street girls need condom?

I just spent some time in Recife. I was not pleased with the Boa Viagem scene, ie Sampa, Chakatk, Bamboo, and explored other areas of the city. I found a club in Boa Vista called Noturno. It is just off of Conde de Boa Vista. It was OK. I went on a Friday night when there was a topless special. All the ladies where in bikini bottoms only.

There are rooms upstairs for private action which cost R70. There is also outcall for R150 I think. The entry charge is R7 and beers are R5. The girls ask for drinks or trips upstairs. There is a stage but the night I went there were no dance shows.

The biggest problem was transportation. My hotel was in Boa Viagem but public transportation stops around midnight. The taxi from Boa Vista to Boa Viagem was around R15-20, or $5-7. I didn't feel like paying that every night so I only went once.

I guess it depends on your tastes. All of the action is on one long street, centered between the clubs/bars. Sampa (a club, usually with entrace fee and exit fee) is on one end, and several blocks down are a couple of bars, Bamboo and Chakatak. I personally had more fun and variety by just walking the street between the two areas, checking out and chatting with the girls. There are dozens of girls of all types, standing around or sitting at the bus-stops. Don't worry, they are all on the program, and they are all conveniently located on the same side of the street.

I found that the girls in Sampa were probably the best looking, but they were also more 'professional' and stuck-up. Bamboo was a nice outdoor bar where you can just have a cheap beer and talk to the girls. The streetgirls were the most eager to please, though.

I was in Recife last fall. Stayed at a hotel called Savaroni, right on the beach in Boa Viagem, two blocks from the action. Price was about $30/night.

One problem with all of the hotels I checked out is that they all seem to have two single beds, and none with queen or larger. Oh well.

Anyway, I was impressed with street action in Recife. Avoid the trannies and check IDs for age, and you'll find quite a few gems. They only ask for R40 for two hours, while in the bars they were asking R100+.

Dollar for dollar, I found that the NE offered a far better bargain than Rio. The sheer numbers aren't there, but there is pretty good quality, and safety was not an issue at all.

Sorry for the delay in my response, I have been enjoying myself in the Dominican Republic; now to answer your questions.

The Blue tree is five minutes from Boa Viagem beach, not sure if its as nice as it looks, it depends on what pictures you are looking at, but I would have no problems staying there again.

Yes, no problems with garotas coming up to your room, due to the fact that this place is also part apartment residence as well as hotel. Generally, the prices in the northern part of Brazil are better than down south.

The girls/men ratio is about 3/1.

There are very few tourists in Recife in this period, because of the low season and because the Italians aren´t yet arrived, as you know 90% of Italian people go on holidays in August, thanks God I can go in July.

All the girls told me that in August is packed with Italian people, the prices rise because of that and the ratio girls/men tends to be 1/1.

So don't go to Recife to fuck in August.

About the Help disco in Rio, I think that 90% of the girls there are overpriced, they are too "professional" for me, and they are very smart and sometimes dangerous, many scams there.

I love Rio, wonderful city, nice girls especially in the Ipanema beach, I have some GF there which whom I always keep in touch, but I think Rio it is not so good for mongering, excepting for the thermas, but that's not my preferred scene, as I always look for semi-pros when I monger.
