I’ll be in Salvador this weekend.

From what I read, "Free Night" seems to be the best boate. Is that the best place in town, if we include freelancer discos or Termas?

Can anybody let me know how the Termas are, and what is the "Help" equivalent. Or the best place to pick up freelancers.

From reading the last few posting. Although I do prefer the more whiter latina variety. I have a feeling, I'll be shopping for a little more distinct Salvador flavor.

No, all pros (or other people for that matter) in Salvador are not black, they are all different kinds (says Mr. Rogers ;-) ). That being said, Salvador is the most African city - culturally and ethnically - in the Americas. So there are more Afro-Brazilians in Salvador than in Rio or Recife. But if you are going to get hung up about skin color or "facial features", then may I suggest visiting Sweden....

Just curious, are all the pros in Salvador black? I don't mind dark girls, but I prefer the dark latina look to the straight black facial features and skin tone.

How about the non-pros?

I was in Recife and noticed very few blacks girls.

Pelourinho: A couple of streetwalkers there, also some pros in the restaurants, there mostly in groups.

Av. 7 de septembre: A lot of streetwalkers there but mostly not best quality - 2 years ago I saw a couple of those tall black bahianas in a side road, but this time I couldn't get them. Be carefule out there don't go to far out, there are a lot of young robbers out there!!

Pinatubo: 4 boates down there. I only saw 3: Free Nights (a lot of girls there: Entry R20, out with a girl incl drink ca R50 girl ca. R100), Eros Cube and Liberty clube. Between the free Night and the Liberty there's a Hotel called Solarius, there are a lot of streetwalkers around. Motels are further in direction Aeroclube and Itapua. Ask the taxidrivers - but beware of overcharging.

Near Itapua: Cascinha Siri. Live Music, also a good place to pick up a girl. The girls comes mostly in groups.
There's a Motel near this place, there are some streetwalkers as well.

Beaches: You can pick up there a girl, some beach cabana waiters seem to be pimps as well - beware of them.

About the rumor that black guys are preferred: There's something about it - but pros and semi pros seems to prefer gringos because lower chance to be beaten up.

Update for Salvador,

I recently visit Salvador and Stayed in Pelerinho and there are about 15 streetwalkers whish 5 of them are 6-7.
I tried 3 of them and only one were OK the others bad.
Going rate 50R either at your place or the fuckhotel were 11-15 for an houer with sextv and mirrors.

Do not know if there are some other streetscen in other parts in Salvador but would be thanksful for coments aboute it.

Did not tried the Clubs futher up the norhern beaches (15-20 min with cab)

I was in Salvador back in Feb. for Carnaval. I have never been to Brazil before and don't really consider myself a 'true monger' but maybe I can help you out. I can not remember street names unfortunately. My Portugese is very half-assed at best.

There are nightclubs in a mall named Aeroclubbe, one is called Club Cancun, where there are a lot of beautiful girls. Not too sure how many are pros but my guess is not too many. Just make eye contact with a hottie and go out and dance with her. They love that. My buddy picks up girls here all the time and never pays them more than a cab ride home. On the road the mall is located on, can be found some SW. They tend to hang out near the bus stops. They are obvious as you pass by. Mostly 5-6's but an occassional stunner can be spotted. Never tried them out but if I wasn't with some of the friends I was with, I would have definately picked one up. I heard the going rate is $50 reals for FS. There is a nightclub down the road about two miles that is supposed to have a lot of hookers, can't remeber the name but ask a local.

When we went to the parades during Carnaval, we parked at Aeroclubbe and took cabs downtown. Don't remember any of the street's names but I recall seeing street corners where many SW hung out. Ask your cabbie, I'm sure they know. Many of these women were gorgeous. When I go back, I will without a doubt pick one of these women up.

When I was there, I stayed at a friends place in the Villas. Did not notice any scene on the beach whatsoever. However, there are many beaches in the area. I heard some are a lot better than others...


As far as the Pelourinho goes, went here one day and scoped it out as far as a tourist thing goes. I did however see some SW's but nothing that thorough. Mostly 3-5's and if you're a gringo, get out of there by 6:00 pm when the cops leave. From there on out, the banditos move in.


Generally, my opinion is that it sounds like Rio and SP are better places to go if you are strictly into picking up girls. There are a lot of incredibly beautiful women in Salvador during Carnaval and I'm sure if you know the area better than me and certainly the language, the sky is the limit. When I was down there I met a girl at a Camarote the first night who I spent time with all 10 days I was there. Never paid her anything other than for her drinks at nightclubs and food at restaurants. She was an 8 and incredibly fun to be with.

I agree with JWadd in a post of his I read earlier. I believe it was in the SP section, he mentioned about the crime in Salvador. Be very careful. Watchout for gangs of 16-21 year old looking boys. They are usually the ones that will give you trouble. My friend that lives there is constantly on the lookout. Everywhere he goes. The reason crime is getting bad there is because some some American companies have moved into the area such as Ford and Monsanto and all their suppliers. This brings in gringos making American salaries in Brazil. Easy prey. Be careful. When I was there, I didn't have any problems other than being pickpocketed at Carnaval but that is to be expected.

I was recomend Ibis hotel from Max
but during last week of july they have no room.

Miami to Salvador da Bahia non-stop

Staring on July 3rd, Varig Airlines will fly non stop from Miami to Salvador, Bahia. Southbound flight departs every Wednesday at 840pm. Northbound flight departs Salvador every Tuesday at 1055am. Now you can enjoy the northeast of Brazil without going to Rio or Sao Paulo.

(This post is about 8 months old -- but the basics should still all be covered here.)

SALVADOR:

Salvador has a good, cheap scene. There's an active street presence, two adequate boites (sex-clubs), a working-girl restaurant and a low-end "locals only" boite.

The two high-end boites are "Liberty Night Club" and "Free Night." Both are close to each other and about a 20 min. cab ride from the city's historic center (Pelourinho -- not sure I spelled that right).

Free Night is the better of the two. It hosts about 50 girls, many cute, all asking somewhere between 150-200 reals. There's a 20 reals entry fee, and a 20 real exit fee if you leave with a girl. Drinks are normally priced.

Liberty is just down the road. It's about as expensive but nowhere as good. About 20 average to below average girls.

Neither club has facilities, so you must leave and go to any of the nearby sex motels.

The "working-girl" restaurant is "Casquinha de Siri", somewhat nearby the two boites a little further down the road. It's o.k. if you get there early enough. Most of the good looking girls seem to pair up quickly.

There're also a lot of non-working women here, so make sure you're game is good before you dive in. The pros seem to sit near the entrance, and (of course) make eye-contact with you.

The locals-only boite is near centro. It's name is "Tche." Dark, big, drunk and dirty. Not too safe of an area. Not many good looking women. Didn't talk to anyone so can't report prices. Go at your own risk.

The historic center, Pelourinho, has many free-lancers walking around. Orient yourself from Praca do Se (main square), and, looking downhill, most of the descending side-streets will have girls walking around that are available for sex.

There're probably more free-lance scenes -- like in and around many of the good beaches here. I couldn't find them, though (but I didn't look that hard.)

The main street scene for whiter women (if that matters to you) seems to be the large street that runs behind the Free Night and Liberty boites. The girls here uniformly asked for 50 reals/hour. Some were cute -- most not. Area seemed safe enough. Also try the beachfront up a little and between Free Night and Liberty.
