Romanza is open again. Went there the other night. Probably the worst south of the border hooker experience I have had in 5 years - but that was my mistake, not Romanzas.

For those who have never been - the club is nice, comfortable, etc. I was there about 1:00 A.M. and there were about 30 girls I could see. About 40 to 50 percent were real hotties.

Beyond taking a total psycho out of there, I thought the club sucked. Why? Because I got the complete gringo hassle treatment. Conveniently misunderstood orders via the waiters, everybody and their mother hassling me for tips, etc. I would not have minded so much except I was the absolute only one who got fucked with during my time in there. Funny, but I am pretty sure I was the only gringo in there too. I will never return, on principle alone.

I won't go into detail about the psycho because I'd rather forget about it and move on.

Kilt:

I've been in Kilt 3 times over the past week or so. Had one very good experience, another who was very average, and another who could have been very good but I was very drunk. Never paid more than 200 for the takeout, got one for 150.

I like Kilt but it is definetely mostly because of convenience to where I work. Too many "pros" in there most of the time and that's not my thing. It's a tourist bar which has it good and bad points because of that.

The cabines they have in there suck ass (and not in the good way) - just curtains around a couch and a table. For those who like them more power to you but, for the most part, if you negotiate correctly, you can pay about the same (+ taxi) and have sexo in the comfort of your hotel.

First Class:

Nobody seems to have posted about this place so I decided to check it out. I have conflicted opinions about this place. It's too dark for me in there and feels a little trashy. When I went it was mostly dead (and kind of early) - maybe 3 other guys and about 8 to 10 girls. However, I connected with a quite hot loira. If I remember correctly, the room rate was 50 (maybe 70), the girl I paid 150. Also, the house manager was a good guy and helped with explaining the rules/procedures/prices, etc. and translated my negotiations with the girl. Him, I freely tipped... While I thought the club room was trashy, the room I got was fine. I'd probably go back, but later in the night.

Day 3,4,5 &6 in Brazil in the last week of Nov I ended up in SP. First night I went to the kilt. A lot has been written here about the kilt, and consequently I don’t have much to add. I managed to pick up a young lass for 200real for 5 hours..

Anyway brazil….. days ½ in brazil in the last week of Nov I ended up in a city called Petrolina. It’s in the north east of Brazil, and essentially has one mongering club that most people know called chilacos. Opens late 10pm until 6am. They have rooms on site, or you can have takeaway. Ruiva - red hair (artificially coloured hair most of the time)

Morena - Girl with dark hair (used for dark or light skin)

Morena clara - Girl with dark hair and brown or light brown skin

Morena escura- Girl with dark hair and dark brown skin

Negra - Girl with dark hair and black skin. It's not offensive, but "preta" is.

In other words, if you just ask for a "morena" you will get a girl with dark hair and the color of the skin may vary.

If you want a darker skin ask for "morena de pele escura"

If you want light skin ask for "morena de pele clara"

You're right there's a lot a variation, in terms of shades, in the meaning of the word «morena». Habitually the word is completed by an adjective to specify what type of morena we are referring to. For example: morena jambo.
