Belem and Sao Luis are for me the two most enjoyable cities in Brasil. Especially Belem, whose atmosphere is truly unique. Both have their own exotic charms (notally culinaries for Belem) and are great places to kick-back a few days or a few weeks.

Nonetheless going there strictly for mongering is definitively not worth the trip. Once more, the ratio is hot women is pretty low up there. As in Santarem BTW.

Better go to Goiania, where when you hang around Flamboyant Mall, it's difficult to walk 10 meters without bumping into a beauty. Dress styles aside (I personally love the way goianese meninas dress, a great mix of latin sexyness and cowgirl style), which is also a factor in appearance, women are simply more beautiful and slender in Centro-Oeste than in Nordeste and Norte, there is no way to deny it.

Unfortunately I have just bought a flight to Santarem. Near Santarem I have to work hardly for one week then I'd like to rest and have fun for one week with girl friend experience. I like morena clara with beautiful face.

Even in the "cosmopolitan bowels" of Sao Luis like Calhau upscale clubs, for every 1 hot one, you get about 20 short, fat and ugly girls. You go to popular places like Ponta d'Areia musical barracas and that ratio is 1 to 50. The density or ratio of hot women is better in Belem, but still not great.

Belém is all right, but I find São Luís better in all thinkable aspects.

You better head to Belém for mongering, or Manaus.

I can confirm, perhaps it will be a case but in a web site I have tolken with 10 girls in Belem and as many in São Luis. I can tell my thoughts: the girls in Belem and São Luis are all the same nice and like to know a gringo but the girls in São Luis are a lot more beautiful. Could you confirm it? ..... I've been in Ribeirao Preto all week, but I was too busy with work to do any mongering. Today I finally had a chance to try a club called New Fantasy (http://www.newfantasy.com.br/) that was mentioned in other reports about Ribeirao Preto.

In a nutshell, the place is a ripoff. I suggest avoiding it. My total bill was R$540 for one session, and that was paying in cash. I think they said the credit card surchage was 10% if you decided to go that route. The girl was R$250, which I guess is on the high end but still within reason for a club setting these days in Brazil. But R$35 Caipiroskas and R$15 for a condom definitely aren't reasonable. The session I had was not bad, but it was simply average. On the taxi ride back it hit me that I've had sessions just as good as the one I just had in the Guaicurus area of Belo Horizonte for the same R$15 I had just paid for a single condom at New Fantasy.

The club is in a very isolated (and actually reasidential) area of Ribeirao Preto. It was a R$40 taxi ride each way to and from my centrally located hotel.

I'm spending the weekend in Ribeirao Preto, so hopefully I'll be able to try out some of the more reasonably priced options in town before going back home.

I'm seriously thinking about leaving the FSU dyevs for a while this winter (still love them above anything though) to find again the taste of brasilian meninas. Espirito Santo seems to be an excellent alternative to Nordeste or SP Litoral Norte.

Your post makes me focusing on Vitoria. There's a Mercure Apt nor far from the beach (Praia do Canto), which is big plus.

No matter how hot those FSU dyevs might be in bed it will still be very cold outside the bed this winter. Wise decision to hit Brasil.

I might try my luck with the dyevs early summer next year.

The name of the place is Maxi-place. I was close enough calling it mega-place. Make sure to go there FRI/SAT night if it is still open. Lots of nice bundas there.

Anybody with knowledge about "cidades gemeas" Vitoria and Vila Velha (ES) ?

Which one of those two adjacent cities could be the most enjoyable for a two/three weeks stay during brasilian vacations period ? (nicest beaches, best regular nightlife and P4P, ect)

Spent a long weekend at Vitoria on the way to Porto Seguro.There is a Mega place with several discos,restaurants etc full of nice garotas on Friday/Saturday night. Don't remember the name exactly although I thing it was Mega-place but had posted some info then about 3-4 years ago. Any taxi driver or young fellow will know it.

I liked Vitoria, also visited a couple of boates dedicated mainly to seamen. Vitoria has a large port.

We had a car so we crossed the bridge and went to Vila Velha as well during the day. Full of Vitoria people going to the beach there during weekend.

Must be better during February. I believe Vilha Velha is a better choice if you like beaches although very close from Vitoria if you have a car.

On the way back from Porto Seguro we stayed one night only in Guarapari. Did not see much of it but looked like Vila Velha to me. Almost same lay out.

If we did't have luck in the mega disco we were picking SW from the Vitoria beach front. There were many and good looking. Either to our hotel or to a near by motel. Can't remember now why we went to the motel too. May be we were paying high extras to our hotel.

I also liked Porto seguro a lot. It was good for a week. Lots of Paolistas there and the adjacend one I can't remember the name now. You only have to cross a few yards of a river on a small ferry to get there.

Finalising if you can make a week in Porto Seguro and another in Vila Velha/Vitoria IMHO would be the best.

Back in RP for a night. Called Mel and she arrived in no time. Usual arrangement of R$100 for two shots on goal or 1 hour. Mel was terrific as usual. Mel and older sister Ellis are not talking to each other an me being me. I asked how Ellis was doing and set Mel off on a tirade that I had not been calling her in favor of Ellis. Managed to settle things down and away we went. Will repeat with both Mel and Ellis and keep my mouth shut about the other.
