The price seems to have gone up since Spidy's report - I paid 60R after five minutes of haggling, which seemed a lot for such a run-down place at the time. The guy who showed my up to the room quoted an extra 18R for any garota brought back. The Batmar bar across the street where some squalid pros were hanging out was also overpriced. As I was only in Vitoria overnight I didn't manage to check the alternatives. But I think the important thing to mention might be that the street in question that runs along Camburi Praia is a very long one, more suited to picking up SWs by car than by walking. I only found a few (on a Thursday night, walking around for a couple of hours) and none that were doable.

Thanks for the tips on Brasil travel guys. I want to see more of Brasil, including Amazonia, so I guess spending a trip working down from Belem, Fortaleza, Salvador, to Rio should do it. Managed Terasopolis, Macae, Belo Horizonte and Vitoria from RJ this time round.

My question to people with experience of travelling to many Brasilian cities (which I don´t), is where would you recommend for a short week first time side trip?

Recommendations?

Fortaleza is my favorite, but I have only gone there with a GF. There is a lot to see and do outside of the city (cumbuco, beach park, and more). Salvador is also a great place. Recife and Natal were not that great for me, as were other places. São Paulo is nice at night for restaraunts and mongering, but it takes a while to get to know the city. Never been to Manaus.

Day 6
Chill and wonder if I should call Ellis since Loreni seems to go MIA after I see her for few days. Decide to go back to Reb’s and see how it plays out. Neither Ellis nor Loreni are there. Ok. No sibling rivalry tonight.

Chat with Pietra or Anna or whatever she is calling herself these days. She is not as attractive as the others I usually see, but she will go completo for 80R$. BBBJ is good as is the sexo, both vaginally and anal. She likes to take it intermittently in one hole then the other.

Still no Loreni and thought better of trying Ellis. So called yet another number in the classifieds and ended up with Laura in my hotel. Laura is very tall, 1.7m and thin. She is in her early 20’s and is busty considering her height. Her service was very good and she seems pretty new to the scene. Her height was an adventure. Those legs are long and doing her from behind while standing was a first for me. I did not have to bend my knees very much. Would repeat.

Called a number in the Folha de Sao Paulo classifieds. Vera answered and came over to my hotel. You may be wondering why the change in garota?? Well, Loreni was not answering her cell and Ellis was pissed at me for being unfaithful to her. Her words not mine.

Oh well, there are many fish in the sea. Vera was older than I normally like, but provided a quality service for the money. She asked for anal and who was I to say no.

Day 1
I called Loreni from Miami and gave her the “heads up” that I was going to be back in town and that we needed to spend some quality time together.

We met at Reb’s at the usual hour. 11 PM. Ellis was there also, so this was awkward. Rivalry among sisters is not a good thing.

Loreni and I went of to the hotel and she was presented with her bottle of Doce Gabana which had her happy. She was better than her normal self, which is usually very good.

Took some pictures and well the rest is history. Would repeat as often as feasible.

To really enjoy Manaus and get a good grip of the city you'll need more than a couple of days. So that leaves Fortaleza and Salvador as two good options.

I would recommend Fortaleza for a short trip. There are usually cheap flights from Rio. It's very easy to get familiar with the city. Mongering-area is very concentrated, in Iracema and Beira Mar. Low prices on the GPs, hotels, aptos, restaurants etc. Excellent nightlife. Good non-pro action.

I went several times to Ilha Grande, in late Jan. or after Carnival (March).
I never heard of any security problem on the island. The harbour Abrão is safe indeed, or at least it is during peak season. At this time of the year, the harbour is a bit crowdy - therefore your main problem IMHO could be to find an empty place. There is police on the island, BTW, not looking much more friendly nor voyeur than anywhere.

For a romantic shag under the stars, I would personnaly suggest to try the smaller beaches on your righthand when you look to the sea. There is an easy trail going for 20' or so (expect rapacious mosquitoes) to Abrãozinho, a lovely cove. There is a restaurant on the beach, closing early. Should be lovely. By day, you may go there by boat (2 R$ by daytime if I remember, don't know about nocturnal charters). I'm sure you may find a discrete boatman on the dock to drop you there and possibly to catch you back (bet you'll be a bit too exhausted to walk back). Or you may prefer him to stay and watch!

Finally, I recommend to come here with your honey, as they are few opps on the island (just a couple of non-pro's from the hotels staff + the tourists, usually arriving in hords, not easy preys!).

The first time I visited Rio it was an initiation. Many visits later, I would say it is potentially user-friendly as there is so much info available once you have got your sea legs and know where to look and it´s very easy to get about.

My question to people with experience of travelling to many Brasilian cities (which I don´t), is where would you recommend for a short week first time side trip?

I could recommend cities at home that are very easy to get to grips with and ones of the same size that are very hard. If I just go for five days I don´t want to spend most of it trying to find places, walking loads or spending heaps on taxis. I´ve done places in easy reach of Rio like Paraty and Macae, but wanted to do somewhere a short flight away. Brasil is such a big and apparently endlessly wonderful country I feel a bit of an ignoramus not knowing more of it.

Recommendations?

Guys, I'll be visiting the pussy and ass paradise on my week off next month. I am planning to take a short trip (2-3 days) out of Rio with a gdp this time just for change. Any tips / suggestions on getting a chica for such a visit - where to look, what to look for, how much to pay, how to negotiate, etc? Are these places safe? I am well travelled globally, so am careful with my belongings, etc. But at Ilha Grande / Angre, can you, for example, go for a walk (among other things) with the chica on the beach at night?

Any other recommendations for safe and (semi-)tourist friendly places around Rio for a 2-3 day short trip? I am going to shoot for a take-out from Rio, so the place doesn't have to be active mongering wise.
