Apart Hotel in Providencia I know well as I am sitting in it right now. I presume there are no other members here in Santiago currently.

I am paying US$60 no tax cash, full apartment two baths near Los Leones Metro. The doormen are all guys and don't seem to do much more than ask if you come in here which room you are in. Nothing happening in Santiago. Had a cab driver give me the bad boys tour. Only action was in the area of 10 de Julio and Figueroa. Some ugly clubs such as Malibu, Hawaii, Afrodite, and some SW. Chicks wanted 15,000 pesos. They ranged in age from 25 to 60. Its interesting seeing a 60 year old granny dressed in tights and garter belts. Looks were a solid one-half to about a 3. I did 2 grannies together for a unique experience.........NOT!! Maybe there is something going on in other parts of town, but I am not going to waste my time looking. Mongering in Chile is worse than in the sexprison, USA.

Just to add to mikemike's piece, there is also a place called Salamandra, which is a lot like Pussycat -- same set-up, price structure, etc. I dont't know where it is, as I haven't been to this place, I have only heard it from some Santiaguino friends of mine... I'll try to get more info on it, but I'm guessing it's probably in the same area Pussycat is at -- at a galeria or mall in the Centro area of Santiago.

There's a few more other joints in the Centro/Providencia area worthy of note...

Oliver's -- Already mentioned: personally, I have had my best luck during the day here. You can find some pretty attractive chicks here at times. At night, they move the show upstairs to Venetto, which is owned by the same people. Prices there are higher, but chicas and service are not necessarily better.

Rugantino, Divas -- these clubs are really hit or miss, with Divas between the better option of the two. One good thing I find about Divas is that chicks here are definitely more laid back than in the high end places like Lukas Bar, or even Venetto -- they will shoot the shit with you for a while and not be hitting you for drinks within 10 seconds of approaching you. The standard set-up is 3000 pesos for drinks, 6000 pesos for chica drinks, and a hefty house charge if you want to hook up with your chick on premises -- best to get her number and deal with her outside of the club. They're both very close to Plaza Italia -- Rugantino is on Alameda O'Higgins, while Divas is, I think, on Cardenal JM Caro.

There is another club further down the street, at 705 Av. Providencia, called Fabiano Rossi. This place is pricier, but it's got some lookers, and most of them are be willing to negotiate a salida. If memory serves me right, whe I was there six months ago the entrance fee was about 8500 pesos and chica drinks 9000 pesos.

If you're coming from Buenos Aires, the pickings here are definitely slim. I'll be going to BA for the first time later this week, so I will be able to put things into better perspective then. Needless to say, I'm pretty psyched about it!

Here is my piece of information for people missing the Pussycat in Santiago.

Pussycat did not close, it was shut down by police and city major.

Many girls from Pussycat are in a new place (and similar services described before for Pussycat are offered)

The place is just next door from the place it used to be (it used to be in Merced 819). The new place is in Galeria Plaza de Armas, fifth floor, Ipanema Club. It is located in 839 Merced Street (almost corner with San Antonio Street). It is a place with many barbershops and hair-cut places. Just go to fifth floor (easy to spot as it is the only club with Neon lights) using elevator or walking around.

The "Universidad de Chile" or Moneda Subway/metro stations in Downtown are walking distance from there. It is the easiest way to arrive there. By the way, there are many "Cafe con Piernas" around there, all of them few blocks apart, walking distance.

In the new place you can get a quickie (sex standing with maybe some other people to your side) for at least as $10 USD ($1 USD = $580 Chilean pesos) and other services for as expensive as $50-60 USD (with private, bed, 1 hour, etc.)

Please do not overpay as we are not all rich.

I went and answered my own question last night. I found Oliver's at 437A Mac-Iver street. There's two or three clubs in the same store front. There are also about 5-6 Cafes con Piernas including Baron Rojo, Cafe Ikabura, Kim, etc.

Inside Oliver's there were about 7 chicas. Mostly 6 quality with a couple of borderline 7 depending on how the light hit them. One 6 sat with me and offered a private dance for 17,000p. Touching, nude, no sex. I was also able to negotiate for a salida (30k to the house plus her fee). I asked about hooking up with after work (40k for one hour, no bar fine). Useful information but I decided against, cause I wasn't really into this girl (a bit thick for me). I did chat up one of the better looking 7 girls, but she offered only company for the price of a chica drink 3500p. No privado, no salida nothing on offer. Oliver's is open 2pm to 10pm.

So I packed up and left. I did check out the cafes. These vary a lot. From tight dresses to bikinis. Overall the chicks are the hottest. In the raunchiest, the girls are in skimpy bikinis and will dance/rub against you will serving your coffee, stirring the cream, lighting your cigarette. Not bad for less than 2,000p including tip.

Walked over to Merced street and reconfirmed that Pussycat is clausada. The club next to it was not open either at 9pm.

Another area I noticed was on Providencia, right in front of my hotel the Four Points Sheraton on Santa Magdalena. There are SWs apparently every night. In fact I even noticed a mamasan last night trying to attract passersby to the girls. The girls were borderline 6, but earlier in the week I did see a 7 out there. I presume you need a car for these girls and I don't think my hotel was chica-friendly.

Lastly, I spent some time on Suecia at the Green Bull. Supposedly there was pro and non-pro action there, but I never saw any transactions. There are cute waitresses who are fun to talk with/dance with. Also the place is very small and has a live band until 1am when it becomes a disco. I had a lot of fun there. Nice waitresses at Pub Licity as well.

So I leave Santiago having had fun, but did not partake in any action.
