The prices are in Chilean Pesos (CLP). Look on your keyboard, there might be a "pound" sign, or a $ sign but nowhere will you see a CLP sign, so most people use whatever currency sign they've got. I didn't check out the link you put up but be aware that bait and switch is pretty common here. In the higher priced market $50,000 and up it's rare but don't be shy about saying no and leaving if what's offered isn't what you had budgeted for. I'll be back in Santiago on Friday night, we could hook up if you want.

First of all, I am a bit confused by the local prices. I thought the local currency is the Chilean Peso (CLP), at 1.000 CLP = 2,07 USD. However, lots of ads quote prices in $. On sexo.cl, I found a beauty (http://www.sexo.cl/?id=997&id_Ficha=...jeres%20Silver) who wants 30.000 $.

Question is, 30.000$ is equal to 30.000 CLP or 30 USD?

Both ways, my results do not match the 100 USD quoted elsewhere, 30.000 CLP are 62 USD... and that price is not bad, given the girl and one hour service.

The concierge at the Hyatt was very cool about it. He told me the places to go and how much it would cost. I think it is much more common in Chile than in many other places in Latin America.
