Well, after contemplating whether or not I wanted to be extorted at these high prices, I decided to call Santiago a bust. For the most part I agree with what other people have said, places to go, but you will pay and the experience may be hurried (bathroom and supply closets). However, after a few pisco sours and some vodka, I decided to check out if there was any SW action in Providencia. I did not see any from 2130 to 2230. There were a ton of locals out drinking it up though, so perhaps, the time is later. After thinking I saved the map on my phone for offline use and navigating to infamous 26, I realized that the "action" icons did not save. Crap! Not to worry, how hard could it be right? Inadvertently I ended up at all the Type 2 clubs that were referenced, no fun. Then I realized I was not on Merced. I made my way there and strategically started searching every strip mall. First, No, Second, No, third, OH yeah. Where there is a will there is a way. Well, after reading 2 great posts, I still didn't grasp as to how quickly things move. I just passed through Santiago and had only about 6 hours stopover. I have been to Santiago before with rather poor mongering experiences.

This time I decided to go direct to Cafe 26. Basically, I entered the mall and staircases were right in front at the entrance. Half floor down were the cafes on the left side. The first one is 27. I ignored (based on TomJackin's experience) the girl from this cafe who was inviting me in. The one attached to it was the deared cafe 26. Basically, these cafes all had one chica sitting conveniently on a chair right at the door entrance and monitoring the traffic. The door was opened as expected and a chica invited me in. I was bombarded with some Spanish words, and after I clarified that I don't know more than 3 words, they were a bit disappointed. But, I continued communicating with the bartender (the only male, friendly) and using body language and generic English words (like sex, dance) to get where I wanted.

3 girls were there. One tall with a nice ass but otherwise rather normal. One shorter, average built, and nothing special.
