Any mongers know of cheapest flights from Boston to Santiago for early August? Saint are you saying $100 USD to enter an $35 USD to exit? Just want to be prepared. Do you have to have a visa from Chile in advance? Thanks PM me

On three separate occasions in 2000, 2001, and 2002, I had a lot of fun at a couple strip clubs in downtown Santiago. They were located downstairs in a business / commercial galeria on Av. Merced, near the corner of Av. San Antonio.

The two clubs were small, dimly lit, grungy places. In typical strip-club fashion, there was a dance floor were girls would dance one at a time. Other girls would work the crowd, soliciting lap dances, which were an excellent value at about $3 US per dance. And there was a back room where you could get even more - I negotiated quickie BJ's and FS with some real cuties.

Can anyone provide help me with the names of these places? Do they still exist and provide the same level of service?

    JWad,

Face it man nothing compares to Brazil.

Yes I can recomend great places, but they are no way as great as Brazil. If you come down here with your local standards, better not come.

I drove all the way up north to Arica on the Pam Am (Ruta 5) on my motorcicle. It was a great ride. Going down south is also very pretty. To get to Punta Arenas, requires crossing over to Argentine. Antartic will require plane or boat, but it is winter and all flights are probably canceled till spring same as the boats.

    El Aleman,

Great post. You're right. It's one big pile of sh*t. My girlfriend flew here and she said she almost missed her connecting flight in Miami due to all the BS with photo/fingerprinting, etc. Oh well. I'm all for security but I guess there are no easy answers. I certainly will write my Congressman.

Please PM me any advice on restaurants and anything else you found culturally satisfying. I'll be under close supervision as well since I'm going with my girlfriend. I'd love to go to Vina del Mar a few nights. If anyone has any helpful advice on that city as well please post or PM me. Thanks in advance.

    Hiya guys --

I'm a regular on the Brasil board. I plan on going down again to S. America sooner rather than later, and look forward to giving Chile a month or so of my time. Maybe the Pan American all the way down? Dunno. I hear it's boring (the Antartic).

Anyway, does anyone know if Santiago has a good free-lance, bar pick-up scene? Those are the best venues in Brasil, Argentina and E. Europe (IMO), and I'd like to dip into that scene in Sant. I fear, though, that Sant. is going to be a bigger version of Montevideo -- namely badbadbad (though I did stretch one super-honey there a few years ago... hmm...). Anyway, any tips would be helpful and gratefully received.

    TIA,
    JW

    Saint,

It is just so that people from the rest of the world get pissed that a country which has not even mandatory photo ID for it's own citizens or the requirement to register with the authorities when changing one's residence starts to treat foreign visitors like criminals when they want to enter that country.

Most people on the world felt great sympathy towards the U.S. after 9/11, but they cannot understand the action your government takes which often appears hostile or arrogant. Put this onto a latino soul with their vulnerable sense of honor, and you will get reactions like imposing such entry regulations. You most certainly will see more of that in the future. For many people, economic considerations become secondary.

I second Big Bug's advise to contact your congressman. If Washington starts to remove their part of the horsesh*t pile, the others will only be too happy to follow.

Away from politics. You will certainly love Santiago as a city, cleaner, more elegant as Bs.As, and beautifully surrounded by mountains. Also, great food, espacially seafood (try machas, a special sort of clam I never found anywhere else. Delicious). I cannot say anything about the "scene", as I was under close supervision when there. If interested, pm me - I can get you a couple of restaurant tips from a chilean friend.

Wine country south of Santiago: there is a nice little town named Santa Cruz in the middle of it. Right on the central city square is a very nice hotel with an excelent restaurant.

    Enjoy yourself,

    El Alemán

who is very happy to hold a "Schengen" Passport.

I know the reason why they do it guys. It doesn't change the fact that it's horsesh*t! Honestly I think both countries are stupid for doing it but realistically the US doesn't need the tourism dollars as much as Chile does.

Saint, the only reason people from USA have to pay for Visas is because you make other people pay for them when they visit USA.

you don't like it write to your friendly congressman

'What horsesh*t it is for Americans to have to pay $100 to ENTER the country then another $35 or so to leave the country! Oh well. What can we do...nothing.'

    Saint

it's tit for tat and I don't think you can blame them. US citizens have to pay the steepest fees for the US has the tightest entry restrictions in the western hemispere for Chilean citizens. Canada and Oz are more lenient in granting visas to Chilean and Argentinean visitors. Britain and Schengen countries don't even require visas so the tax is waived for them.

Relax if you behave they won't take your prints :-)

Thanks guys. I'll see what I can find out. I'm not sure how much hobbying I can do but if you read my reports you know that I usually end up in bed with some girl. I might be traveling with a novia though that wants me to fly her in from Brazil so we'll see what happens.

I'm really looking forward to visiting Chile and seeing what the city has to offer. I hear good things about it culturally but bad things hobbywise. I'll be in the ground there in 6 weeks or so. I already have my ticket.

Hopefully I have good things to report.

    saint,

    i'd suggest the following tour,

day 1) santiago by day - the cheap venues

go tu pussy cats at 16:00, go to olivers at 18:00.

day 2) santiago flats by day. - the good ones - expensive

visit fiorella's hotel, take your pick from www.sexo.cl (can give you my pick)

day 3) santiagos expensive topless joints by night

    lucas, champagne, platinum, passapoga

    day 4) coastal visit,

arrange with the girl of your choice from oliver to go visit valparaiso and have sex on the hills overlooking the sea, inform her that a long skirt is a must (so you can bonk her in public)

    day 5)

drive to the wine sector down south with your lady from the expensive bars, sex between the grapes is fun, alas all the grapes have been picked so sex is a must,

    saint,

i am really looking forward to hearing your report on the action out there. i've been planning to visit chile for a while and do the more "cultural adventure" thing. but like you suggested, it's always nice to have "fun," while having fun. from what i've heard, the club scene no where near to that of ba or sp and is quite uncharted by wsg mongers. do try to be careful, i would.

good luck saint and god's speed

I'm hitting Santiago in July and looking forward to the trip. I've always wanted to go to Chile so it will be a nice adventure. I'll go back and read the reports to see what Santiago has to offer. Flying from Buenos Aires to Santiago.

Can any Santiago experts lay out a good 5 day itinerary? What are the best places to visit? I'm sure I'll hobby some but it's not my objective for visiting Chile. I'm sure I'll find some action though. There isn't much information on this site on Santiago. Sounds like all the really hot girls are very expensive. Oh well. We'll see how it goes.

    Hi Big Bug,

I read the Montreal report and know you are going to Montreal by the end of the month.
Here is a web site that can give you a hand.

    http://www.sexwork.com/montreal/spreadsheet.html

    With all the useful info.

2 or 3 years ago, I did travel to Montreal 3 times year, and I tried the street action, outcall, and incall.

    Price: average Cad140.
You can try ABC for incall, and Asservissante for outcall, also Luxure and Fantasme.
Take your time to look at the montreal spreadsheet web. Hope you have a good time in Montreal, and don't forget the report, I will be in Montreal about June.

    Mark
