I am planning to be in Santiago in March. I think that I have enough basic Spanish language to handle making appointments with internet girls. I would also like to try hitting a Night or Day Club and would like to try a Cafe con Piernas as well but don't feel comfortable heading out on my own. Very bad news about club amsterdam! I am planning my first trip Santiago in March and was going to count on them to provide a lot of the entertainment.

I guess I will have to take a crap shoot with who shows up from the internet girls. My Spanish is limited the pictures can't be trusted. I do read the reviews on elsilencio. CL but my comprehension is not 100.

ANY good intel between now and then is appreciated. Also willing to meet up with any of you locals.

Previous post by IGAM is spot on! Many of the addresses, especially on the map for coffee houses and clubs either do not exist at all, or the place has subsequently closed. For example, Calle Moneda 611 is a gated office complex. If Mar Dulce Terapas is inside it cannot be found because you cannot get in without a pass. So this old monger is walking his ass off trying to locate something tasty. I always respect those who do the work to make Jackson's forum the best, but if you have something specific in mind a call would be worthwhile. But then again, how's your Español?

I checked today at about 7 PM on a Friday evening. The Renato Sanchez and Malaga corner is essentially embassy row (I bet "Taco Grande" got a kick out of making up THAT story)! And 2342 Eliodoro Yanez near Ave. Suecia is still an empty house, as it was a couple months ago. Additionally, the 73730059 number was answered, and when I said "Ola, Club Amsterdam?", I was hung up on. But Happy New Year to All, there are still pretty girls out there!
