    "cola" in BA

Glad to hear you had the chance to experience anal in BA.
Apparently it is not so easy.
Just refer to many comments in Argentina Private forum about local girls not providing anal at all.

Personally, I enjoyed excellent anal experiences in Santiago.

    Correction...

    Dornyone

I see your point and I stand corrected.

I had one (1) streetwalker experience in Santiago, one (1) year ago. It went very well, and we spent two (2) nights together. However.

This is hardly a sound statistical basis to draw conclusions on the Santiago streetwalker scene.

So I am sure your advice to newbies is more reliable than my impressions based on a brief experience.

In fact, just before meeting Catalina, I had politely but firmly rejected some of her colleagues that I found not attractive at all. Moreover, I had no motel costs at all (I had a small but great studio apartment where I could invite whoever I wanted), so I can't comment on that side of the equation.

Having said that, I still think of Catalina occasionally (we compared notes about lives, partners and kids and found ourselves kindred souls on most things) and if I won the lottery I am positive that I would wire her some money. (I still have her phone number.) Too bad I don't play the lottery.

(BTW, apart from streetwalkers, I did visit a couple of apartments with girls in Santiago. Based on ads in the papers. And found them OK. Similar service concept as their counterparts in Buenos Aires, but better furniture and facilities. Girls about equivalent, but anal easier to obtain in BA).

Nano, glad you had only positive experiences in Santiago, for the most part I concur with your assessment however... The street girl scene can be far more expensive than the independent chicas once a motel is taken into account. I had a recent experience in Providencia with a pair of chicas who gave [CodeWord140] poor service once in the room, all told I had to really work to get into both of them. I wouldn't recommend the SG scene to a newbie.
Check out La Estokada with babelfish open in another window (for non Spanish speakers) and trust to the other mongers for reviews. They aren't as kind as European clients so you can usually rely on them.

    Catalina - Providencia/Las Urbinas

About a year ago, I was in Santiago for a week (work), and I made one good friend there. I met her as she was working the street in Providencia (approximately at the level of Guardia Vieja/Las Urbinas). Her name is Catalina. She is late-20, blond (dyed), not too tall, and she is a very nice, smart and sensitive person (in addition to having all the requisite technical and operational qualifications to be well worth what she charges – 30-40,000 pesos depending on duration).

I understand that streetwalking is less of an extreme sport in Santiago Providencia than in many other parts of the world. Catalina looked in excellent shape (a year ago - hope it is still the case). I had no difficulties taking her to a nice restaurant (the Chilenazo in Vitacura). As I told her, it was more likely that the restaurant would object to my appearance than to hers.

Why am I bringing this up? it’s just that if you are in Santiago and want to meet someone nice and have fun in the process (and tell her that her friend she went to the Chilenazo with has recommended you to visit her), I can’t think of a better recommendation.

Please do give her my true love.

To locate/identify her, she works from 11pm to 3am or so, and the guy at the parking lot on Las urbinas (across Providencia from Guardia Vieja) can help you find her.

South American (SAM) Country/City for Beginner - Buenos Aires, Lima or Santiago?

There was a query from a poster on what SAM city out of the three above would be the best for beginners to SAM. He picked BA, based on advice from a couple of posters.

I love all three cities, my wallet got stolen in BA, my heart got stolen (briefly) in Santiago, and I made my best friends in Lima. BA fascinates me and it is today by far the greatest, deepest, dirtiest, damnedest place in SAM (out of the tiny minority of SAM places I have visited, that is). You have to go BA at some point in your life!

BUT. As a beginner to SAM. Santiago provides a much smoother introduction. None of the wild, dark undertones of the Grandest and Most Decadent city of the New World (BA). But all modern conforts, higher standards of cleanliness, more English, much more standard (albeit less interesting) Spanish. May be a little more expensive than BA, but. Again. For a beginner, it will be the easiest way to get the general drift of SAM and make him ask for more.

I should clarify that the "beginner" I am thinking of is someone with no Spanish (just like the original poster. Carl 123), who appears to be a little concerned about dipping his gnarly toes in the SAM ocean. I read that as meaning he is American or European, possibly North European.

For a beginner from say, Asia, or Africa, it is probably easier to feel at home in Lima.

For a beginner from Southern Europe (especially Italy, as Argentina is heavily Italicized), BA is the place.

    Just one man's opinion.

I am sorry you were not happy with Santiago.
What went on with taxi driver is not common based on my exprience.

As far as girls are concerned, I may agree with you that look of the girls is not the best in South America and this is not the ideal sex destination, but still you can have excellent service.
I can witness I only had outstanding service here, as I had reported in this thread.

I will not be back anytime soon

Finally writing up my Santiago report. No major loss though because I basically did no mongering in Santiago. In fact I really did not like the city. I experience some nice restaurants but in general I was not a big fan.

Too my surprise it was much different than every other South American country I have been to. Except for the weekend places close relatively early. Also there just did not seem like a lot of people out and about at night.

However, my number one major complaint was the Taxi drivers. I have lived in NYC and been to many large cities in the world. Based on my 6 days in Santiago they are the most dishonest taxi drivers in the world. EVERY single night the drivers tried to screw us. They literally tried every way. The most common was them claiming they could not find our hotel. We were staying at the 4 points Sheraton. Even when we would show them the business card of the hotel with the address they would claim they cannot find it. It got so bad one night I was just so frustrated and upset I told the taxi driver to take us to the police if you don’t take us to the address. He was yelling for us to get out in the middle of some dark st. He finally called what he thought was our bluff. I went over to the cop and told him what was happening. The driver drove off after giving a token complaint to the police.

I really have no plans ever to go back there again. Also just walking around I was surprised how much worse the girls looked vs. the other countries in SA.

I did try one café de parina early in the week. These places are just real divey, seedy places but worst of all almost no good looking girls. I found one that was ok. I take her up to the room and she immediately is trying to get my pants off. So I am like let’s slow down can you take your clothes off. She then says that is extra, so I was like extra to take you clothes off. How are we gonna bang with your clothes on? Her attitude just turned me off so much I got up and went back to the boss and asked for my money back which I got. I still lost the room charge but I really didn’t care.

    right choice

I know all three cities and I believe you selected right place, at least for nightlife and girls.
As far as Spanish language is concerned, it is true Argentinian have strong accent, which doesn't sound nice in women, but at the end of the day grammar and words used are same (or very similar at least). All Latin Amercian countries have their own accents and typical sayings. Therefore, in case you want to learn Spanish my obvious suggestion would be to go to Spain.

Carl, first of all why don´t you pay Jackson his $19.95 so that you can send and receive PMs, it will make things much easier for you on ISG.

The part of Lima where you would be staying, studying and mongering, i.e. Miraflores, is completely safe both day and night. Peruvian Spanish is very pure, almost without the accent which you will find in Chile as well as Colombia.

Chile is probably one of the worst L.A. countries as far as chicas are concerned (IMHO). Peruvians are much more GFE than Argentinians and look more Latin American as well. Here is a good place to learn Spanish, it is also full of young cuties learning English:

@World Travel 69: even if the Spanish there is different, I would be interested in a good spanish teacher (especially if it's a female teacher ;-)

    Cafe Rio

I had some time to kill a couple of weeks ago so decided to checkout some of the cafe con piernas. I can't recall all that I went to, but for the most part the chicas were not that great and the interactions (meaning body contact) was poor. But there was one place on Merced called Cafe Rio that was great. All the chicas were 6s. 9s and the contact was much better.

When you enter you will be approached by one of the chicas. She will ask what you want to drink. She'll get your drink and when she comes back she'll start grinding on your crotch, etc. You can also feel her body and breasts, etc. Although in my experience digits were not welcome.

She continue to dance for a couple of songs then she'll stop and ask you to buy her a drink. I think they are around 2k. When she comes back she'll dance for a few more songs and then ask for another drink, etc. Etc.

I stopped in one afternoon around 3ish and started talking to a really hot chica. She was probably a 9 and had amazing natural breasts. After a few rounds or drinks I asked if anything else was available (my Spanish is not good so this was partly conveyed by rubbing my finger on her palm to communicate hand job b/c I didn't think anything else would be doable).

Without even hesitating she said yes and quoted a price of 35K, but quickly lower it to 25k. I told her I didn't have that much and pulled out 17K. She seemed okay with that. She took 10K from me and went to the bar. The bar tender went upstairs and seemed to be clearing out the upstairs room. After about 5 min we went up to a small changing room that also had a bathroom. She took the remaining 7K pesos, brought me into the bathroom and began giving me a very uninspired HJ right over the toilet.

Nothing was going to happen that way so she starting grinding on me and I eventually finished. I'm sure full service would be available, but I was happy. I probably also overpaid for what I got, but I was leaving in a few hours and didn't feel like anymore negotiating anymore.

YMMV, but Cafe Rio is definitely worth a visit.

    Hi Carl,

I have a chica that I use as as a translator-guide in Buenos Aires too.

    She speaks near fluent English.

Let me know if you want her e-mail info.

I've been to all three cities several times and will tell you that Lima is way more dangerous than either Santiago or Buenos Aires. Santiago is both more expensive and less interesting (in my opinion) than either of the other two. Lima has the lowest percentage of English speakers, although none of those places have many chicas who speak English (a good thing, IMO). Both Peru and Chile have very conservative cultures overall. However I would not recommend studying Spanish in Buenos Aires because they don't really speak Spanish there; they speak castellano or "Rioplatense Spanish" and the differences are significant enough that my Mexican friend was unable to understand it for quite some time.

    South America

For a first timer I would say Argentina should be your starting place. The rest is so different, you could almost say downhill.
I know a great Spanish teacher for you in Buenos Aires.

It should be possibel to go ahead with English (and maybe little Spanish). What would you recommend?

    Thanks for your hints!
