I have been traveling in Chile with my significant other and have been able to slip away many afternoons to enjoy the local P4P options. Summary: Chile is more expensive than the rest of South America, more first world, more boring, and safer. Girls on the street are as pretty as anywhere in South America, although there are few Asians or Black girls.

Prices for an hour ranged from 15,000 to 60,000 pesos ($30 usd to $120), although 20k or 25k is the normal low range in most places ($40 to $50 USD). By comparison, the price range in Bogota for an hour is about $25 to $100 usd, although I had a nice 20 minute encounter one time in Bogota for $15 usd. In my brief sampling, there was no relationship between the price asked in Chile and the quality of girl or service. If you don't speak Spanish, you will have trouble, since only one working girl that I met spoke some English.

exams on 15-year-old girl show no evidence of sexual act

police are investigating a possible **** prostitution ring in the port city of valparaíso after a 23-year-old u.s. marine was charged on sunday for allegedly soliciting **** prostitution. as a result of the charge the marine will be prohibited from entering chile for the next three years.

the marine was arrested at 6 p.m. on saturday after police found him with a 15 year-old girl in a hotel room during a police search for liquor licenses at the louisiana hotel. the police report said that the two were found in the room in a “non-sexual” position. the minor told radio bío-bío that they were not alone in the room, as reported by police, but with a group of friends.

the girl was taken to the carlos van buren hospital in valparaíso to undergo physical exams, which found no evidence of a sexual act.

regardless, police are now investigating a possible **** prostitution ring because the hotel was linked to a child prostitution scandal in 2007. the scandal received tremendous national attention earlier this year after a tv report revealed that seven investigations police (pdi) detectives had knowingly solicited sexual relations with minors at brothels, including at the louisiana hotel (st, july 1 ).

the owner of the hotel was also detained for facilitating child prostitution. the hotel is located in valparaiso's dockland area and is a common place for marines to stay and party.

although the legal age for sexual consent in chile is 12, the chilean penal code has a statute called “estupro” ([CodeWord123] of a minor), which establishes limitations to sexual contacts with adolescents between the age of 12 and 18 in cases where the minor could be “taken advantage of” by an adult.

I have had mixed results in Santiago hence my "creature of habit" approach to P4P. We are expats/tourists, who gives a shit if $40 US is a lot for Jorje?
