I've reported on this before with the girls of DR. The social media influence of OnlyFans made allot of the good looking girls stop walking the street and now they just sit at home and sell clips and pictures. This was another reason many stopped going to DR and started going to Colombia because there was nothing but a bunch of overweight or worn out chicas walking around while the younger ones are just doing OnlyFans. The same thing is starting to happen in CTG as well, when you get the chicas instagram they have a link to their OnlyFans and they no longer want to come out unless your paying top dollar. We can thank those guys sitting at home sending these girls money, and the girls show they are making allot of money by flexing with iPhones with 3 cameras in mirror selfies. SMH.

There are different mongers with different mindsets and they don't realize the long term effects.

Some mongers think their on vacation to have a good time so it doesn't matter if they have to spend a few extra dollars to get what they want and enjoy their limited time overseas. That few extra dollars is then to be expected of the next monger who comes along.

Some mongers think that if they spend more and raise the overall price it will phase out the mongers who cannot afford the inflated price. This is why the chicas are talking in Dollars and now Euros instead of Pesos.

Some mongers think they can monopolize a chicas time by flying her out for a few days or even a month as I've seen with chicas being flown out to other areas outside of Colombia such as Cancun, Croatia or Germany. Now some chicas don't want work unless you take them for a few consecutive days.

So now we have chicas raising the price on mongers who they have done business with before because some other monger came along and gave her the false mindset that she should be earning more money for the same service.

How long is it until girls start to migrate to OnlyFans or just do digital whoring? I feel like now a girl can just be an 8 and have offers from rich chinese and Arabs to go shopping for a day. I am looking at the reports in Germany and it looks pretty grim. Please tell me this is a passing trend. I already know women don't make that much on OF but its scary none the less.

I flew into Cartagena from Orlando this month. Sprit asked for vaccine info, check MIG, and return reservation. In Colombia, customs asked for passport and vaccine card but no check MIG.

I did not fill out check MIG last trip and flew in on Viva to Medellin last time but Spirit was different.

Colombian immigration does not need to ask for Checkmig when you arrive. They can see you are in the system and have already done it. When I arrived 2 weeks ago there were people at the immigration desk filling out the old paper forms because they had not done the Checkmig before arrival.

I fly to Barranquilla monthly from FLL on Spirit Air and get asked for it every time as part of the check in process. I fill it out to leave but have never been asked for it by Colombian Migracion. I noticed that they added some Vaccine questions in December.

I had a different experience. Maybe you got the good looking pass. Hahaha. I was asked to provide it before I was issued a paper boarding pass leaving US even though I had already done everything online but didn't keep a copy of the MIG on my phone so I had to do it again at the counter and leaving Medellin I had my boarding pass on my phone even though I didn't do a MIG because it was required while filling everything else out but agent in MDE had me fill it out at the counter.

Early to Mid Feb time frame but different treatment. Lots of checkpoints and lines at MDE while leaving so allow plenty of time before your flight. May e it was because it was a Monday.

I've also had booking issues with Avianca in the past, but for the past few months no issues. When the web site booking process asks you for a Colombia phone number I use my Col hotel phone number. But when you get to credit card portion of the booking process, there I don't fudge it as I pay with my US CC. The AV site asks for the country of issue and your billing address, and local telephone number. Haven't had any issues with any of my domestic Colombia purchases recently. Good luck, Luvchicas.

Nope. I just tried and it would not go through. At first it gave me an error message before going to the payment section. Then I tried again and used my old Colombian number, but on the payment section I used my normal US number like you said. It would not go through again. I tried once more and put my old Colombian number in both places and it worked.

After the trouble with the credit cards and Avianca, I read further and there are many customers complaining about Avianca. Plus the credit card representative said that they were having multiple problems with Avianca which was why the did not let the charge go through. My only experience with Avianca was ten years ago when I flew from Sao Paulo to Bogota. It was an excellent flight. The bankruptcy probably did them in.

Copa Airlines has been very reliable in the past. It seems as if they are always on time. But the difference in price between Avianca and Copa probably would have paid for all my Medellin adventures since I like to fly business class. Oh well. I am old. You can't spend it after you're turned into ashes.

I just got back from 10 days in Bogota and no one asked for the Check-mig to or from Colombia. They were more interested in my Vaccine card going to Colombia and my Antigen test going back to the USA. I did complete my CHeck-mig both ways but it seemed to work much better on my Iphone than my laptop.

Both Visa and Mastercard are denying booking with Avianca. Even Orbitz denied it and I thought it would be okay being an American company (I assume). I called Avianca and they said I needed to go to a travel agency. Has anybody here had any success? The tickets are way cheaper than American or Copa but does it come with a price?

I have used Avianca with 0 problems for the past 20 years booking on the Colombian site for better prices. But since their BK filing during COVID my experience has been the polar opposite. In July 2021 I had a refundable ticket that I couldn't request a refund on the website. I had never had a problem before with a refund in the past. Max 2 weeks to get see. See. Refunded. The website denied me. I had to go in person to the office in Oviedo Mall in MDE to request the credit. 90 days later still pending. I had to dispute with AMEX and after proving up the ticket was refundable AMEX credited back the fare after inquiring with Avianca and not getting a response through a charge back.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I had to purchase 2 tickets. One route NVA to BOG for my GF (Ticket 1) and one route BOG to PEI for both of us. (Ticket 2). I purchased Ticket 1 and purchase goes as expected. I purchase Ticket 2 and purchase goes as expected until 6 hours later I get an email from AV saying that the purchase did not go through due to irregularities with my payment type (CC). I follow up with AMEX as charge for Ticket 2 goes from Pending to Charged on CC.

Here is where it gets weird. After all tickets have been charged to my AMEX I check ticket status on Avianca.com. I check Ticket 2 which had a problem, and I can confirm this flight on the website. I check Ticket 1, which went through with no problem, and can't confirm flight on website. I call Avianca and through the representative that both tickets are confirmed and they send me a copy of the tickets to my email to prove confirmation. No explanation why Ticket 1 still can't confirm on the website. So, all tickets confirmed, but still a little nervous about having to confirm flights once I am in country.

My first thought was that because of the charge back though AMEX that this card was "banned" or something, but the charges all went through. Fortunately I will be able to confirm in country as I arrive before the dates of the flights for Ticket 1 and Ticket 2. Sharing my story to help others.

I noticed today that the Check-mig site and app will only allow completion of the form on the day of travel, even though their pop-up message says it can be completed up to 72 hours before the flight. Maybe it's just a temporary software glitch rather than a change of policy.
