Medellin practically always have good weather, I have never experienced bad. It sometimes rain a lot, but not for days and days, like in in Asia with the Monsun.
Practically all days are good, very good.
Winter? Medellin has 21-22 Celsius in medium, range is like 15-33 Celcius, very very stable.
Somehow a funny report. The guys, back in the days; Medellin is under siege from criminal gangs, etc etc, calling a splendid summer a winter does not do the trick to keep away competitors for Luxury _Pocahontas_Pussy.
This is what Medellin iss best known for and is also real; Pocahontas Babes are everywhere and they love gringos! Literarlly!
Now I don't want to be disturbed anymore by Plebejians, I'm listening to Harmonielehre (John adams).

But Bogota is such that you want a jacket in the evening at least virtually all year long. And an umbrella handy.

Posts: 187Only Vaccinated Visitors Admitted From Dec 14,2021
https://co.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/
As of December 14,2021, visitors to Colombia ages 18 or older will need to provide proof of complete vaccination for entry. If your final COVID vaccine was less than 14 days before entry to Colombia you will also need to have a PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival in Colombia. Visitors ages 18 or older who have not had any vaccine will not be eligible for entry to Colombia.
Unvaccinated Colombian residents are permitted to enter with a negative test. Tourists are not! Huge change in attitude compared to their former unvaccinated, no-testing policy. The only fully-green countries for North Americans now are Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Dominican Republic -- no medical requirements.

Posts: 68Liberalisation direct criminals into even more dangerous activities?
If a country make cannabis legal, and maybe some other pills like Tradamdol, etc.
And the criminal gangs loose their income, what happens?
I suggest; Liberalization creates even more dangerous criminal gangs; out of business they re-invent themselves as kidnappers, extortion, attacking sensitive businesses vital to the function of the society.
This while in drogwars, Gang A kills Gang be members only and vice versa.
Is it the best option to just accept that we can't get a better society, this is "As Good As It get's."
Are there any empirical, historical studies on this?
If the limit, imagined by both Police and criminals, that the battle we are fighting is about drogmoney, there might be a red lline to cross.
In comparison drug-related criminality are relatively "mild" compared with assassinations of politcal or business competitors, or vendettas.

Here is another where you can walk in and get the test. This is by the large Exito close to the clock tower.

Bogota is the one city in the world I've ever lived in where I never paid much attention to the forecast because there was just no point other than 50/60's with showers / rain.

Also, my chicas tell me the rainy season is from August to December.

The Caribbean coast has a much drier climate. It hardly rains for most of the year, but it does have a rainy season (when I caught dengue fever) from May-June. Also apparently CTG can be wet in Oct-Nov.

Posts: 17Is it really raining that much in Colombia?
Hey guys,
I was just curious, can anyone confirm if the weather forecast is correct? Because it is saying that it is raining every single day up to next weekend. That doesn't seem right. Says its raining for Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena. No way, can't be true.
Can someone confirm this for me? I heard the weather is amazing right now from a friend whose out there but he's at Pereira.
So can someone whose in Colombia confirm whether this is true or not?
I'm not going to Colombia now, but I'm definitely a little worried if it keeps raining. I'm going the first 2 weeks of January and I need good weather to really enjoy my first trip to Colombia.

Take notice that I entered a Dec 10 departure for Colombia.
According to the site Unvaccinated now cannot enter.
Also notice that it says Vaccinated do NOT require a PCR test.
