I have a flight tomorrow. I do not have PCR test. Can anyone confirm flying without PCR test after resolution was passed?

If they don't let me board, will I be able to get a test at the airport and board next available flight?

If you are coming from the US you don't need a test.

I think they will let you board without test. The old rule is that you have an option to take the test after arrival and quarantine until result is available or something like that.

I'm going to the Mansion on Thursday. From NY. American airlines is bombarding me with stuff about covid, Colombian websites etc. I'm going to get the test just in case there's a problem somewhere along the line.

WOW this is GREAT NEWS! Just when I am planning my trip next week. I am in desperate need of sanity, sunshine, and beauty I can get my hands on.

Except the downer is that the airlines don't have that updated yet. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. They might have said no more PCR testing at the airport in Colombia, but still requiring it for boarding a plane to Colombia? However, instead of 72 hours they give 96 hours, which is much easier to schedule.

It's good news no PCR anymore but Colombia never does anything smoothly. It will be a little rocky for a while but I'm sure the airlines will get the word soon but not until they get clarification for Colombia. Best to consider the possibility of needing the test if your traveling soon. I'm in the same boat, I travel on June 10th.

It looks like it's true, no more PCR requirement, now if the USA can get out of the way and stop the Anti8 gen test we can get a little closer to normalcy.

Tough position.

In the past I believe (not sure) you had to prove to the outgoing airline in USA, then USA immigration, and then Colombian immigration. So any of those 3 entities could throw a wrench in anyone's travel plans. So it may be safest to get the test just to be sure. I would definitely print out something off the Colombian government website.

I mention this because my trip to the Philippines had a stopover and plane change in China. The airline employee in the USA checking in my bags said I needed a visa to enter China. I had to explain to her that physically I would be in China but legally I would not be since I would not be going past immigration and outside the airport. Amazing!

You have to look up resolucion 777 de 2021 Colombia. The information is there. I have read the 7 page resolution 3 times and do not see anything there, but all the online news outlets are reporting it to be part of the document.

En materia de vuelos internacionales, se eliminar la aplicacin Coronapp, por lo cual no ser necesario tenerla para entrar al pas y se suspende tambin la prueba PCR negativa como requisito de ingreso a territorio nacional, tanto para nacionales como para extranjeros a partir del 1 de junio.

I'll have my novia look into this, It's a complete reversal for Colombia to do this but nothing out of Colombia surprises me anymore. Jaja.

Also it looks like the Government and the paramilitary are out to stop the anarchists' from doing all the destruction to the cities.

Hi brothers, can you help me with advice?

I'm planning to visit Colombia for 2 weeks and I'm trying to choose between Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena. I don't want to check-in check-out all the time so I decide to spend one week at one place and then move to the second. So I have to skip one but can't decide which one. My trips usually are walking around enjoying the area including the usual tourist stuff, drinking beer next to the sea (that's why Cartagena) and of course having fun with the local girls. Usually semi-pro spending the whole night together (sometimes and the whole day). Very often visiting the tourist places in the company of the girl that I spend the night with. So I think Cartagena is a must but not sure about the second stop. Maybe Medellin because of the girls, especially the Venezuelan Any thoughts on the subject?

Beach is always a great place to spend time with or without a girl. Some of my best trips were to Rio, I had an Apartment on Ave. Atlantica overlooking hooker beach 2 blocks down from Help!! Ahh the good old days. The girl is always what makes or breaks a trip. Beach, tourism etc. Is always a part of it. I met a few amazing women on my trips and although I am not a fan of Todo Noche, beach, dinner, a few days with the right woman can make for an amazing trip. One time, years ago I met an amazing women in Costa Rica, looks, body, sex over the top, spoke some English. Anyway, me being like a kid in a candy store she asked me if I wanted her to stay over and I said no you can go and off I went to mine for another all star. Well that all star never happened and I began to miss my other girl. So after 2 days of really bad sessions with less than steller girls I contacted the first girl and see told me she went to Panama and would not return until I went back to the USA. Lesson learned. My advice is, pick one first, Ctg. Is good if you like the sea and you don't mind paying the higher prices, and you find a hot chic who checks off all the boxes stay there. Because the flight's are many and cheap, I would hold off making any further reservations. If things get stale and you want a change of scenery you can always get on the computer and book a flight and room in one of the other cities. Keep your options open especially if the riots persist, you never know what is going to happen if you pre-book other cities. All in all it sounds like you can do whatever you want whenever you want, sounds like a plan.
