The shale oil producers tanked so much that some have gone up 40% since the March low. The stock price is so low that you can just buy them for the long term with less risk associated with the future. I don't think there is a need to rush to buy.

You might be. Or you might not. I wouldn't rush in myself. I've been a small investor in oil for many years. Certainly a lot smaller now than when I invested. And there have been other times where there has been "blood on the streets" in the oil market. But then it goes to "more blood on the streets". It's possible that oil might never come back to what it was. Or to anything close. There are scenarios under which that might happen. And any particular investment choice you make could end up being worth nothing. More likely is that someday some of these companies might be worth something more than they are now. Now there's an investment plan.

It just feels like one of those situations where you "buy when there's blood in the streets" as the saying goes. The worst that can happen is that you lose some cash. Or you can make some serious profits. By the way I am not talking about pulling out of my 457 or savings account to make such a reckless move, it's more of a lets play around with things and see what happens. I already kicked myself in the ass when I didn't get in on bitcoin earlier in the year when it was under 4 k. I know it's a different market but I have seen it over and over for myself. I say damn why didn't I get in? I just have a feeling that in 2 years I will be saying the same thing about oil.

Maybe not so good for us if economic misery means more violent crime on the streets.

We are living in surreal times.

Oil went down 42% today, and it is selling at $10 a barrel. That is Colombia's #1 export. That should mean we see the high COP: dollar ratio sticking out a while.

It makes perfect sense. You ever live with a woman going through menopause? It's like the entire psych ward all inhabiting one body. After 30 minutes you'll be feeding her whatever drugs will help.
Thank God I have not! But I hear the stories from friends that have wives that are going through the shit. I'm all set!!

Each year one of the light-bulbs in the warehouse goes out. 20 years later there are 20 that are burnt out but you fail to notice the difference because you adjusted to it gradually. Then one night someone replaces those bulbs and you come in that morning and bam! You realize what it used to be like when it was super bright. That's how I felt when I got on the testosterone treatments. I felt like a brand new man. Prior to that I pretty much got used to feeling like shit and thought it was normal due to age. Well my testosterone levels were less than a teenage girl when I got tested. You should do the same man. And don't let the doc tell you that it's normal for your age. They give women hormones when they get older and go through menopause but have a hard time doing it to men when they go through andropause. It's bullshit and makes absolutely no sense.

Done age 38. Volume supposed to drop 3-8% roughly (1st question I asked the doctor). I had not noticed any real difference in horniness. Age 49 now. This last year my power has dropped. One girl a day and I am good (but not happy). Some days hard to get hard. Have not taken anything or had testosterone level tested. My Cialis / Viagra meds are not working. BUT my supplier had a quality control problem once before. I will try new pills and then get testosterone level checked. It better not be old age at 49!
