What is the best approach you guys have for picking a Non-Pro. I have been mostly taking the easy path and paying for sex. I thought maybe someday I would like to try something different and more challenging, and also it might work little as an ego booster for a middle age guy to pick a Non-Pro and have her fall in love.

She was probably testing you. Or she just did not wanna be your GF anyways, not because of Spanish or dancing. If you were there only for a week, then it would explain a lot. It is better to tell her you were gonna move to Colombia.

What she said was complete BS. I do not think they care too much about dancing, but they probably more care about your Spanish. You could have told her that she was gonna teach you Spanish and dancing.

One year ago I had a GF(a professional girl) in Colombia for a while, went to probably 5-6 dates dates first before any sex, had good time going to restaurants and places, while she was on her period gave real great BJ, she did not give crap about my dancing, never danced with her. Also she was helping with Spanish, explaining different shit.

But then got tired of thinking of her, spending too much time, etc.. I had to sneak out to go to casas, then lying to her that I was doing some repairs in my apartment. So I chose not to have any girlfriends there anymore, too much BS, their jelausy, etc.. although it's good way to learn Spanish and some romantic words which you can later use with other girls.

Also before her I dumped another girl(had only 2 dates with her), she got very upset and asked a thousand questions in emails why I did it. I do not like to do this kinda stuff.

So eventually I switched back to "easy" girls. For me its much more fun than "non-pros". I can tell them anything I want, I can ask anything, I can change them anytime. They do not get offended. Still the amount of money spend is pretty much comparable. Instead of going to dinners, events, travel, gifts, the money goes directly to the "pros". So I guess it depends on what you like. You can chose what you want to do. For non-pros you definitely need much more time and nerves.

I don't know why you are asking for advice on here when she gave you the perfect advice already (although if you scroll down a page or so you will find I already said the exact same thing). Make sure your Spanish is excellent, learn to dance, learn the local culture. What is your definition of "long time"? A night? A day + night? A couple of days, weeks, months? Do you speak spanish? Obviously it helps more if you do. The range of prices vary so much depending on how you treat them.

I do have to make a little contribution on this subject. It would seem that really Colombian girls don't give much of a flying fuck about the age of guys they love, to them love is love and they really don't care about things like that. The one I thought it made such a big difference to is just a fucking liar. It does seem to make a big difference not being fat though! The more weight I lose the better I do.

I think you need to pay something($20-30) in order to contact girls. For multiple months they give discount. I subscribed to Colombiancupid a year ago, and actually met a couple of girls, one was my girlfriend for a while. So in my opinion it is not a bad deal. Also another site http://www.romancelatina.com/ gives at least one month free, and then some monthly fee $6 I believe.
I believe such websites is a good way to get girls info prior to your trip, and it actually saves you money and time, therefore I do not have any problem with the fact that their service is not free.

I don't really notice a difference really between Colombia and Brazil in that respect.

Just like in Colombia, as you see in areas like Parque Lleras, where the more affluent hang out, the girls will generally be with guys their own age.

I've observed the same in Brazil.

At the social-economic levels where the younger native guys tend to be more jerk-offs, the girls tend to appreciate the older guy. In both Colombia and Brazil as well as countries in between.

I do have to add, though the beauty in the faces of some Paisas you'll see is hard to match, I would give a definite edge in general to the Brasileira in terms of overall sexyness and attitude.

You can't be surprised you got some grief when with little history or reports to your record you made some very definitive statements denigrating one of the more popular P4P countries out there. You came of sounding like a troll.

As for your problems with the non-pros, I didn't realize until I reread your earlier posts one possible reason why you weren't too successful. You describe yourself as 24 and Swedish, with the blonde hair and blue eyes. That might work wonders for you in the states or in other countries like Brazil but the thing about Colombian women is they tend to prefer older men, even some of the really young ones.

So it may seem counter-intuitive but you might want to wait a few years and come back when you're 30; but if you're in CTG now, see if you can befriend some Israelis as the ones that come to party in Cartagena are very young and don't have much of a problem getting laid, maybe you'll get some more useful ideas from observing them.

Also, if you had been in CTG at the end of May when the college girls from the interior of the country are done with their semester and start going to the coast for fun and sun, you may have had better results. In that context, you have more working in your favor because you're meeting the girls in "vacation mode" hundreds of miles away from their homes and families. . .

I don't think you're "full of shit" but you did come off sounding callow and inexperienced despite the list of countries you boasted success in, of which I would point out the DR and Brazil certainly have MORE fatties than in Colombia. Only Cuba (which you also mentioned) has skinnier girls and that's because the socialist diet has those girls half-starved! :)

So when you write LDV was just "a bunch of fat, worn-out, tired-looking hookers" it's funny, I got a good laugh, and there's a grain of truth to that but I also know it's exaggeration because the last time I was there, I pulled a girl that's as skinny as they come, and she was pretty with a good attitude, good skills in bed, no bs or flakiness.

So I'd say don't give up on Colombia. Come back in a couple of years and spend at least two weeks in one place if you're serious about making it with the non-pros. Setting up some dates beforehand by chatting with some girls in the cupid web sites can help but you need to be chatting and calling these girls for at least several weeks before your visit so they'll take you seriously. The other way is as I mentioned in my last post: having a local friend to hang out with so you can meet and be introduced to dozens of girls.
