Generally renting a car is going to be MORE expensive than taking taxis everywhere, not less. Plus who in their right mind would want to drive here?

I personally get by just fine on public transport with the judicious use of taxis now and again when I have no other choice, even going out of town is usually easy on buses. You can also hire a vehicle and driver on a daily or weekly basis really easily here, once again, generally cheaper than renting a car.

I am doing my research on which city to visit to find the hottest and most friendly women in Columbia? Can anyone give me their insight on which city is best; possibly pros and cons of each of the major cities.

Taxis are very cheap in Medellin. Also I can not picture anyone who is not very familiar w/ Medallo actually being able to find what they are looking for much less being able to drive amongst all the crazy drivers.

Do yourself and everyone else a favor and stick with taxis. Once you get there you will see clearly just what I am talking about.

I don't know how you finagled that one. I called Avianca's 800 number today and asked about it. They quoted me $220 plus tax and then I gave them cities and dates (Bogota-Cartagena-Medellin-Bogota) and after about 15 minutes she said with taxes it would be $499. I said I'd get back to her.

The price of those 3 same flights on Avianca's website was 975,000 CP, so the airpass doesn't even beat that.

Incidentally, there is no savings on round trip tickets on the website (i.e. it's exactly double the one-way).

I mentioned in the post that not even the Avianca agents know a lot about it, that it may take 2 or 3 calls to get good info. You clearly talked to a call center agent who didn't know squat.

Seriously now, obviously the government and others in Colombia succeeded in scaring the shit out of the Colombiano/a's. So there still is a vast mayority of both genders which insist on the use of condoms. The ones I fuck(ed) don't, but I must admit that I've been refused many, many times. Both by pro's and non-pro's.

He is my contact I use most of the time to arrange non pro parties and has introduced many many hot University girls. I recently returned from two weeks in Colombia and want to pass on this info since I think most travelers don't know about it. If you fly Avianca to Colombia, they offer a Colombia Air Pass for domestic flights that is not available for purchase inside Colombia. There are a few "catches" but if you want to fly around inside the country and plan well it is a very good deal and will save a boat load of money.

Here's how it works: They sell the pass as 3, 4, or 5 flight packages. They call the individual legs or flights cupons. Three cupons will cost US$220 + $16 tax. If you fly to anywhere on the Caribbean coast those cupons cost an additional $60. I flew from Bogota to Pereira, bused it to Armenia, then flew from Armenia to Barranquilla and lastly Barranquilla to Bogota. My air pass cost US$260 + $16 tax.

You will get mixed reviews with this one. People here always state how the non pro girls are eager to go bareback but on the contrary ALMOST ALL of my non-pros INSIST on condoms. These are educated University girls for the most part and a Manacurist who I met in the mall who I banged after our 3rd date.
