Sorry to read this about your friend. Most casas have a 30 to 60 minute time limit. If your friend could restrain from spitting for that time it would greatly help him, this could be a problem anywhere in the world. A suggestion would be to take in some cotton in the mouth to absorb the saliva for a quick casa session and just not saying anything to the girl. Good luck.

    Latinamerica cupid update

Ok so after one week of LatinamericCupid, my inbox is filled. I would say 30-40% look like fake profiles and I got a few from Brazil that gave me their email and obvious fake after I gave them my burner email. Lot of fake profiles from Brazil. Maybe 25% Colombian messages I get are the homely a bit overweight type, but cute. They seem to be looking for the lottery out of Colombia to the US and really want an American husband. They are sweet but seem very desperate. Ok, to chat with but not what I'm looking for when I visit. I found a few cute 40 ish type girls that seem real and are hot. The chats are brief and cutesy. The other thing I am seeing are a ton of Dominican women sending me messages; some AA. I really don't have any desire at this point to visit DR but maybe in the future. The site is a bit overwhelming w / so many women emailing and having to filter through fake profiles. The girls that really want to chat again are the homely type. Nice to chat with but I can only imagine the cling-on situation if I visited. The site takes some time investment but it is fun.

Just another update on LatinaAmerica cupid. So there are actually some real girls on there. I chatted with one average type girl and she chatted my head off. Quite nice but I could feel the desperation. I was kind of feeling it out to get the feel if she was an actual real person and she was. I'm sure some of these girls really want to escape from a very difficult life where they are. I'm not looking for hookers on that particular site, but again I'm not looking for a wife either LOL. Will keep searching to find something in between.

    Next trip

I was talking with a nice guy in the airport and he talked about how he stayed in an AirBnB in Laureles. I think that's what I'm going to do for my next trip. I'll look for a guest friendly AirBnb and go there.

If you're not used to it, I recommend hitting the treadmill at an incline to maybe make it easier. That's what I'm going to do next trip.

    Thanks for the correct info.

Ok, so now I have the correct info, and I won't be dealing with the guy with the huge immigration website for Colombia anymore. His reply to me with the 65 day thing seemed a bit shady.

    Good luck!
Update on Colombian dating sites. The sites mentioned are escort sites above which could be useful. I've tried these 2 sites and more information:

https://www.latinamericancupid.com - interesting site and lot of attractive women to browse. I figured out a way to email with a Brazilian girl but turned out to be a scam attempt. I get lots of messages, but you and they cannot read responses with a standard account. I get a lot of messages from women who also have standard accounts so it's near impossible to communicate. So even if you do get a premium account you can't communicate with standard users. It is entertaining but overall kind of pointless.

https://la-date.com - you get some free message and communication but quickly free credits run out. The messages I get are obviously either fake or generated by profiles that the site creates. It appears they create their own fake profiles and just have staff that send you messages. I get crazy messages like I want to come fly to see you.

It seems like there has to be some way to meet real Colombian women online for free (non-escorts) but wading through all the fake profiles is tough. I try to go through both sites and look for non-professional type photos but even those I think are fake.

And when you re-enter, you get a new dated visa stamp. On the lower right corner of the visa stamp, the immigration officer hand writes the number of days it is good for. All my stamps have written "90" although I have never entered the country within 90 days of being issued a previous entry visa. Foreigners are limited to 180 total days in a calendar year. But no where is it written that you must stay out for a minimum of 90 consecutive days after your previous entry stamp date. For the sake of simplicity, let's say each month is 30 days, instead of 31 or 28. Suppose you enter on Jan 1, then you must leave by March 30. Suppose you exit March 28. And you re-enter March 29. Then is your new visa stamp only good for 1 day? Doesn't seem to me any government would issue 1 day visas since the risk of overstay would be extraordinarily high. Suppose the same scenario, you enter Jan 1 and exit March 28. And re-enter April 1. Then you get a fresh 90 day visa because your new entry date is outside the 90 days of your previous visa. It is illogical. Every time you legally exit the country, your 90 day allowance resets, with the exception being if you have already stayed 91 days for more in that calendar year. For example, if you've already stayed 100 days, then your new visa would be good for 80 days, not 90.
I reported further down a Colombian friend called and it's up to 90 days each time, not to exceed the 180. Not that anything government related has to make sense, but it truley is the only thing that makes sense and is manageable. The government wants our tourist dollars and I seriously doubt many people claim the tax rebate.

There's a small chance I am coming back with only like 25 days left before year end. I'll report back if I do and a smaller number is written on my passport. I'm also leaving in October and will report back if anyone says anything.

I don't have a reference, but here is real life data. I also have an exit on 28 Feb 2022 and an entrance on 3 Jun 2022, on other pages. All four entrances have 90 days authorized.
