Yeah, preCovid, I had no issues bringing in women to the hotels. I stayed at the Hilton one time and the GHL the other. I actually liked the GHL better and it is cheaper. I remember having AC problems at the GHL though.

I found women from seeking.com to hang out with. I ran into four stunning beauties there. All of them fucked the shit out of me, and 3 of the 4 did not want excessive amounts.

Thing with BAQ is that it is boring. Maybe if you hit the spas, you can lie them up and bang a dozen or so over time, but I think you have the right idea. You get a girl or two, hang by the hotel pools, eat a good dinner, maybe take them dancing later that night. I liked BAQ and the women there, but I asked guys what to do and the consensus was there is nothing.

And yeah, GHL is a 4 star hotel and costs $48 a night on hotels.com and you probably get it cheaper than that. I think if you had a routine there things may not be boring and could work out to be fun.

One thing I did do was that there is a food mall right on the river with like a dozen different restaurants that I went to that was pretty cool.

Another poster struck gold there with Colombia cupid. I have not used it (not enough hotties for me on it) but if I did, the first place I would check is BAQ.

I have a hotel reservation for Cartagena in mid October and will stay a week or so, if Covid and general unrest has subsided. I had never heard of the DonColombia site before but I looked it up. Unfortunately, not too many photos of the ladies on this site so that leaves it too problematic for me. Did you arrange to receive a photo from Andrea or did you just take a chance?

I have only driven through Barranquilla on prior trips on the way to Santa Marta and can't say I was impressed. However, I did notice today that there are several 5 star hotels at really cheap prices such as the Prado and the Sheraton. Low $40's. Are these hotels close to the spa action, like the places you visited? If a place has a nice pool, then I could see hanging out in BRQ for a fellow days, as sightseeing seems rather limited after my visit to Cartagena. And the prices you were paying for the chicas were very reasonable compared to CTG.

Ya know, this great city gets almost zero recognition on here. I for one love it and although I have been to Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena, my favorites are Barranquilla and Santa Marta. I am going back for a few days covering the 4th of July and am wondering if any other Gringos will be on the coast to hang out and exchange war stories?

I will fly into Barranquilla spend a couple of days, Berlin it over to Santa Marta for a couple and then back to Barranquilla for a day of so and leave.

The last time I was there in early April almost everything was shut down and you were mostly confined to your hotel area so I picked some of the more high end ones that had more stuff available. Hoping this time more of the clubs and nightlife are available to enjoy.

Any boots on the ground there or anyone who has just been in the area could you please confirm nightlife and maybe a few locations to check out?

Countrywide infections are going down. And the compromise seems to be 10:00 pm curfew 7 days a weekcontinued alternate days shopping and lockdowns on public holidays.

Curfew in Barranquilla will be ending Monday with the exception of May 30 (Mother's Day) when nobody can go out from 5 am until midnight. One of my chicks said they will celebrate it early.

The word "tuition", is in quotes, when I use it. Therefore meaning, substitute whatever excuse she happens to be using that day. Be it, "Daycare fees", "Fees for my child's school" or "Medicine for my mother". Who really knows what crap they eventually use the money for. It could indeed very well be actual tuition. To me it doesn't matter the excuse.

I believe, the slant of the conversation at that time was about Colombian woman scamming guys and using quick money tricks on unsuspecting guys (ie. Paola Ariza, and the one that just came into a windfall from the poor unsuspecting ATL guy).

For me, 100% of the time, I also get these type of "scam-like" requests from Brasileiras, albeit pros or semi-pros.

So given my explanation and usage of the word "tuition" in quotes and the general slant of the conversation at the time, it meant I was applying the usage to "scammers" and "non-regular girls", who want something for nothing.

As I said, I don't mind if they earn their "tuition".
