Okay guys, time to start report.

I will first let you all lknow of the stupidist law I have ever heard of. Due to the presidential election in Colombia this Sunday it is punishable by incarceration to sale or purchase alcohol. What the hell does that have to do with a government function? That said yesterday the 18th I got to venture out and because it was about 1:15 PM I thought I would check out April Spa mentioned in another post. When I realized I scribbled down the address wrong I just told the taxi driver to drive me by Lusatana and then he new exactly what time it was. We got to talking about Lusatana only being open at night but if it was girls I was after he said just ring the bell and they will deliver. He dropped me off didn't ask for tip and left. Rang the bell, just as he said a guy came to the do and let me in. It look like a damn hurricain had hit the place as I am sure most night clubs look the next day. He said he would go get me a girl. I though he was going to bring me a couple but he only brought one. No problemo, she was spank'n hot. Bad news I was creeping on my novia, had little time to spare, and negotiated very little. She said 1 hour 200K and I said okay but multiple bells would be required. She seemed very excited to see me and said okay. I sware she must have been applying lemon juice to that little kitty because it was tight as it gets and she was very into it. She f&! %$ the living shit out of me. When the knock came on the door she appeared to get pissed. She wouldn't respond as she was in sexual bliss and finally went to the door to make them go away we went back at it and finished up. What a piece of ass. Expectinig the usual get dressed and scram, not the case. This chica wants to take a shower. She hands me the soap and has me lather her up. No rush no, just a great time. She said her name was Susanna and that she was Colombian of Brazilian deschent. Got her number for whoever needs it. She said she would only be here for 8 more days. Said she was just there making money to help free her brother from the FARC. Yeah right. This girl is a real trooper and I will most likely hit it again if I get another window of opportunity away from my novia. She keeps a tight leash because let me tell you the non pro scened is the same it has alway been, un fucking believable. There is a 15 everytime U-turn your head. I saw a girl yesterday in a Kroger type grocery store yesterday that was the most beutiful woman I have ever seen. She was definitely a solid 25. I tried everything and couldn't get her to make eye contact. Don't feel bad, I continued my shopping and of course they had an Aguilla Beer model there. I started hitting on this perfect 20, her name is Minely and I got her number. We will hopefully be dining tonight. It is so different here compared to America, what you wouldn't even attempt to hit on in America is very easy to pick up here if you've got the balls to approach them. Bashful I am not. Anyway that is it for now. To anyone talking trash about this place you're insane. Pro scene may not be the best compared to other international spots (I don't travel much) but the non pro scene and there ease of access cannot be topped. The women are just unbelievable and everywehre you look. If you haven't been here you are missing it.

I have been to BAQ many times and I never knew you could go to Lusatania in the daytime and ring the bell for service.

Yes BAQ has some very pretty girls, and even the P4P is not to bad although a little more pricey than say MDE or Cali.

All the beaches in this area are the ugliest I have ever seen anywhere in the world. I would not go for the beaches. Cartegena is awful and Barranquilla is not really even beach. Santa Marta was bad to. There are supposed to be some more secluded areas that I did not go to.

If you're in BAQ and you want to go to the beach, the best, easiest, most dependable way to go that I know of, is to go to the Hotel Pradomar in Puerto Colombia and use their facilities.

It has a cove and surrounding beach about 50 to 100 meters long. Nice soft light colored sand and with tables & chairs under Tiki type table umbrellas and palm trees. Bathrooms and showers available for paying beach guests.

The only thing it lacks, IMO, is clear ocean water but that is characteristic of the whole region due to the confluence of the huge Magdalena river & the ocean. El Rio Magdalena is loaded end to end with silt that it carries out of the Andes to the mouth of the river near Barranquilla in Bocas de Cenizas. That silt plume covers the coastal area for miles in all directions.

If you go on week ends, they charge COP 10K per person cover that is fully reimbursed towards purchase of food & drink. It's a lot busier on week ends so the cover helps them manage the bussness and crowd better. During the week there are normally only a handful of people and no cover.

I've used their facility a half dozen times over the years. Very dependable and consistant quality.

I'm coming in August. I have been all over Central and to certain parts of South America but have never been to Colombia. I will be in Barranquilla for one week. From what I read it is not the city to be in. I plan on hitting the club scene out here and maybe a strip club or two. Are normal girls easy to meet here? I speak decent Spanish. I'm thinking about going to Santa Marta or Cartegena after a couple of days in Barranquilla. Does anyone have any recommendations? How far are the beaches from Barranquilla?

Procuring services of a guide makes a lot of sense in Barranquilla. I was there in October, and even with a rental car, it isn't so easy to get around -- very spread out, not pedestrian-friendly. Overall, Barranquilla was the worst big place I've seen in Colombia, up there as one of the worst cities in the Spanish-speaking western hemisphere. Some good-looking chicas, though.

Hard to find in Medellin or Cartagena anymore because of the Gringo traffic going thru.

I find these types of gems all the time in Sao Paulo, Brazil, working in hidden, cheap barsinhos (little bars) and they just don't know their worth and they're fantastic.

I generally keep these hidden places to myself.
