Do not believe the girls are desperate and starving.
During my 3 months I tried to get 3 Photoprepagos girls to come off their 150,000 COP asking price and no luck.
Bored so try something new. Went south of Centro to Calle 35 Carrera 35. Hotel half a block away had some girls available. But most the time sat in front with other women who were staying there so you never knew who was who. If they would just go stand around at the corner from time to time. She read the text but never replied. Two days later I saw her and she smiles and waves me over. I motion come here and point to my hotel that I am standing in front of. Nothing.
Next girl is great. But she has a loud mouth friend that tells her to ask for threesome and ask for 100,000 COP. Her friend is trouble. I took the girl I liked once then explained not again because I do not trust her friend or the old friend / mom that is with her a lot. Trouble trouble trouble.

Hell I stayed half a block away.
Had a girl at my apartment twice before I moved to this hotel for 6 days. The owner got mad. No visitors of that type allowed. Told the girl when I change locations I will text her to meet again. So I text her, she reads it, and no reply.
Tired of the crap so contacted a girl I had 3 times 2 months earlier. She already knew me and I knew she only lived about 5-6 blocks away. I told her she never read my message two days ago. I am leaving tomorrow. We can meet but has to be between 9:00-9:30 am because I then pack and check out. 9:45 am she texts me telling me she has to babysit cousin and can only meet in the afternoon. Amazing!
These girls in this area are not used to foreigners and are some of the most stupid I have ever run across.
When my bus landed in Medellin I took a walk early Saturday morning to see what it was like. Got 3 Whatsapp numbers. That night all 3 girls read my message asking how much? Only 1 replied that night. 1 replied the next morning. 3 days later and the last one has not said BOO!
Do these real world examples strike you as desperate starving women?

Bus trip to Medellin!
Barranquilla to Medellin (no humanitarian flights from Barranquilla).
Went to the bus ticket office. Showed the younger guy my passport and the email from the USA Department of State listing the cities with humanitarian flights. Guy said I needed a letter from the consulate or embassy. I told him I never read anything about that. Went outside to gather my thoughts. Actually so I did not explode since I was there the day before asking a list of all I needed and he said shoes, pants, face mask, money. Go back in and talk to the older lady. Show her the USA Department of State email and sh tells the guy this is same thing = acceptable. She takes a picture of my screen. Prints it and places with her copy of receipt. One way with backpack and one large suitcase was 286,000 COP which was $77 USD at the time. I could have flown and been there in an hour.
At the bus station we all heave to wait outside (no herding). They wrote 3:00 pm on my ticket so I assumed the bus left then so I got there at 1:00 pm just in case the Didi driver got lost or screwed me over. They open the gates. We stand in the cleaner for our shoes. Show ID and that we are on their list. Inside we wash our hands and they hand spray are luggage and backpacks. The show us where to sit and sit only at that spot. Hand us form asking ID info, why we are traveling, what address we are staying at, any contact with sick person, how do we feel. They give us the boarding ticket. As we line up to go out to the bus it is the polices turn. I show them my passport and my email for humanitarian flight. Bus finally starts moving at 5:30 pm. (4. 5 hour wait).
The bus is freezing. I tell the driver and he says nothing he can do. Bumpy and lots of curves at times so I only slept maybe 3 hours. Horrible! None stop trip. The bus arrives at 8:00 am. (14.5 hour drive).
Can not get off the bus until you show your ID to the police officer and he checks you off the list. Everyone must be accounted for. Then go to table to show ID and tell them where you are going. I think health department. Get luggage and try to get out of the. Not easy. Elevators are off and the only staircase I see going down it blocked off. Finally made it out of there!
That is what I went through on July 4. Until the buses run normally you can forget any international flights. I suspect buses will open up first, then domestic flights, then international. International will be last! Instead of checking airline websites try searching these 2 sites. Because until they are up and running with a schedule or you can find with a search then no need to bother searching international flights.

Elite Spa closed again.
Elite Spa closed during shut down. Opened 3 weeks ago for 2 weeks and shut again now for a little over a week now. Stopped by twice. Once on a Saturday at 3:30 pm. Pissed off because there were 3 girls there I wanted to repeat with. I have not seen any of the girls on any website ads so no idea what they are doing.
Just a hand full of businesses opened since June 1. Maybe 20% of businesses now open. Surprised most dentists are closed. I fail to see how most people are surviving financially.
So damn boring. I hate eating at home / apartment / hotel. I usually learn a lot just by people watching but with everything closed and people mostly out only to run errands there is not much to see.
Sad to me that I am safer here than in the USA for so many reasons.

Getting to Colombia Now
Those with means proly already doing it like the drug runners use to do = Hire private jet and / or get your private pilot's license and pilot your own aircraft and land in some clandestine airfield.
I know I proly watching too many Miami Vice shows now but that's how it use to be done just for a different purpose.
