But they looked well used and a bit bored. I got one paisa to give me the facts: 25 min 50 k + 8 k room, ugly girls may go cheaper. Beer 3 k, open 1 pm-10 pm 7 days.

I looked for "Spa Abril, Calle 42 #44-47". I found the address but it's now Taverna Daykyry, drinks only, no girls.

I looked for "La Dorada, Carrera 45 or 46 between Calle 42 or 41". I walked the whole block and there's nothing there with that name, or in fact anything at all remotely interesting.

I looked for "Casa de Cita, Calle 40, Carrera 37". For starters, Calle 40 does not intersect with Carrera 37, only 36 and 38. I asked a man sitting in front of his house, and he said there's nothing like that around there.

What I did find is:

I do believe that in places like La Hoja the girls agree on what the going rate is, because price-cutting is not in their interest. I didn't try bargaining with different girls, so I cannot be sure what the lower limit is. Maybe someone else will find out.

The other girls were not ugly and someone with different tastes may have a different favorite from me.

I don't think that 100 k is the set price at La Hoja. I think that all the girls negotiate the price base on their age, looks, experience, skills, etc. La Hoja only gets the 20 K room service and the girls get all the money they negotiate with clients. Also, that girl is different from the pack and may have a higher rate because she is a real hottie. If she was working at the Juernes Bar, she would likely be charging in the 200 K-300 k range. Last December 2014 when I went to La Hoja, most of the girls were going for 70 K or less for an hour and most of the girls I saw were not that good looking. You really got a great catch. Never take taxis which are parked outside.

Exiting the place with a friend we took one of the taxis parked there, after negotiating our trips, the driver asked that we would pay with. Since it was a $50,000 bill, the driver went to change it with another driver parked ahead. When he returned and gave us the change the bills were fake. The other taxi drove off just after changing the money, then when we complained to our driver, he pretends he also got robbed and quickly starts to pursue the other taxi. The taxi ended up getting into a dangerous neighborhood where the taxi stops suddenly in the middle of the street and guys come out and rob us.... shoes, cell phones, watch, money and then left us stranded in a creek, and told us out there the local gangs will kill us later.

Fortunately, walking a few blocks there were people in a humble home drinking beer at the door .... and we could stay with them until dawn, there was no way to call home or anything. And watch out, these drivers are friends of some girls at the place.

It took me a few attempts to find this Casa de Muñecas, so here's some more about it:

The "Cevicheria" next to it is the seafood bar Ostreria Delicias del Mar, Cra 47 #70-15.

The casa has no sign or number, so easy to miss. It's a White House and when it's open in the evenings, go inside, sit on the white sofa and ask to see the girls lineup.

I saw 8 girls, different colors, well dressed, and mostly tall. No rooms, take out only.

I was quoted 120 K 60 min, 180 k 120 min. Cerebro, is that what you paid? Do you talk to a girl or choose on looks only? How was her attitude?

World Travel 69, just a quick note. The Lucitania Bar / strip club is still shown on the PDF file. That placed is closed since 2012. The lady that used to own Lucitania, owns the Juernes night club so the working girls that were at Lucitania might have migrated to Juernes with the owner. Also, when I asked local people about the name of the take out Casa across from the Suri Salcedo children's park, they said that the name was Casa de Muñecas not Peluqueria Victor. Peluqueria means barbershop and there is no barbershop there. There is no Victor in the place either and the owner is a lady. Also, the girls a the casa de muñecas are not masajistas as noted or massage girls. There is no massage service in the place and all the service is for take out. All the girls at Casa de Muñecas are prepagos or damas de compañia. Thanks for all the work and for updating all the maps of many cities. At this time of the year Barranquilla is pretty lame and it is like a ghost town. The best times to visit Barranquilla are December, January, and February (end of Carnaval). It is a completely different city during those months with people partying, hanging out outside and drinking every where, late at night till early mornings. If youdon't like casas or spas, and the P4P bars / night clubs you are wasting your time there because that is where you will find the chicas. Also, at Casa Peluqueria Victor, you need to go inside to see the complete line up. Most if not all of the girls of that casa live there and it is usually late at night when most come outside to sit outside and at the Cevicheria next door. The actual name of that Casa according to a local man who told me is la Casa de Muñecas which means the dolls house. As for semi pros in Barranquilla, it is very easy to meet them, but you need to speak Spanish and spend more time there. A one day trip as you did won't do it. There were some other places to have fun that you missed and that were nearby La Troja bar. I notice you made a few misses as you were looking for chicas in the wrong places. You should have looked at my list or WT69 listing, but you probably didn't. The Bar La Troja http://www.latroja.org/ at Carrera 44 # 72 - 263 Prado is a great local hangout where most local go in groups to drink and dance Salsa. It has great DJ Latin music and great vibe, a place to get drunk, but that is all. La Troja is not that conducive to finding chicas, perhaps you may be able to find non-pros if you are able to infiltrate a group. It is a great place to hang out and drink with the locals but not for finding girls as most girls that go there come with boyfriends. Right next to La Troja is a P4P bar you missed and was right next door to La Troja, the Bar / discoteca La Hoja at Carrera 44 # 72-243 Prado. You could have found a girl at La Hoja and the place has rooms to fuck. Also, just a long block away or 4 minutes walk from La Troja was another P4P Bar, the night club Juernes at Carrera 46 #73-26 Prado, where you could have found some high / middle end girl and also the place has rooms to fuck. Another miss was when you were looking for girls at the Park Suri Salcedo. That is a children's park where children, teenagers play basketball, eat ice cream and a great ice cream parlor and families hangout. There are no working girls in that park. There is Police station right inside the park too so that park is a no zone to them. What you missed was right in front of your eyes and was the take out Casa Peluqueria Victor (but not really a barbershop) which was right across the Suri Salcedo park at Carrera 47 #70-22 and next to a Cevicheria and a drogueria / pharmacy. The girls from the casa sit at the front porch of the Casa, some wearing nice dresses or sit at the Cevicheria where they hang out and often buy beers. If you have gotten a beer at the Cevicheria, you would not have miss those girls. Good luck next time and hope you take notes from previous posters.

We only spent one night in Barranquilla, so not much to report. After getting settled we decided to walk to Parque Washington for dinner and drinks. We were there early, but had no luck finding any chicas. After that we headed to La Trajo, the most popular salsa bar in town.

After a handful of beer and no luck on ladies at La Troja we headed to Parque Suri Salcedo. We were told by a few people that there would be chicas around. The park was lively on a Friday night, but after walking the park for over an hour, we found no chicas. We even explored the surrounding blocks to make sure we were not missing something.
