Very important Club Bananas is the formed Club called Freddy . The address Cra 31 No 45-24 Avda Murillo zone.

15-20 girls on Friday just 3-4 in a range of 8-9. Price 40 K hailf an hour plus room 10 K. No cover.

Club Siglo XXI. 20-30 girls on Friday. Just 2 doable. 30 K half an hour. Cover 5 K. Avda Murillo with 27.

Nice post Ricker, very balance and even handed. I'll have to second this comment. While I am not one to judge another man's spending. However, with the frequency of my trips I have to be bit frugal. I don't go to trolling the low end for pennies, I am still a shallow dude but I still expect a good value.

If you visit Colombia or wherever once in a while only, overpaying is no big deal to you, but if you visit frequently, you certainly have to budget the "pussy dinero" just a bit

As in everything, everyone has different tastes and perspectives.

I know there are guys that dig places like Lusitanias in BAQ and Face Dos in MDE. And that's great.

I prefer hunting for the chicas in the less elegant, less traveled places.

To each his own on pricing too and what they pay for chicas. Lately, with all the Donald Trump type guys coming out of the closet, what you paid was cheap.

For me though, I couldn't imagine paying 600, 000 pesos for 2300-0400. Maybe because at that time of night, I'd do one love session and SLEEP

In reality, I could find a hot chica and keep her for a week for that money. Like I said though, to each his own. I have found that what one guy pays doesn't affect what I pay too much. I have learned with these chicas that the money isn't everything.

If you can get the chica to dig you a bit, you set the price.

As a matter of fact, for me, pro or not, if the chica is all about the money, I don't want her anyway, I don't care how hot she may be.

There's always another hottie around the corner in Colombia!

I appreciate your post. Great perspective from a first time visitor to Colombia. You made some great observations about the people of Colombia and the non-pros.

I guarantee you, as you visit more and learn the game, you seem like a squared away dude, you'll find that you can pay less but yet still not be a cheap-skate.

Tons of chicks in Baq, but you need time on the ground with the regular girls, and if you have that kind of time then why Baq?

That's the fundamental issue, Sean. You see a lot of guys babble about the "best" city in Colombia. That's pointless. There is no "best" city in Colombia. First, every city in Colombia is great. Second, the "best" city in Colombia depends on many factors. The most important factor is the priorities of a specific Gringo. Every Gringo has different priorities and preferences. Therefore, there is no "best" city in Colombia.

For me, my favorite is Barranquilla. Why? First, the "forma de ser" of the Barranquilleras. Generally speaking, the women in Barranquilla tend to be "descomplicadas" compared to some other cities (especially Medellin). Second, there is far less cosmetic surgery in Barranquilla than in Medellin/Cali. I want the real deal, not a bipedal mound of carefully placed silicone. I have never seen so many naturally well-endowed women anywhere outside of Barranquilla.

But obviously I am expressing a minority opinion because the Barranquilla forum is rather lifeless compared to the other forums.

The absolute best place in Barranquilla to meet women is during a vallenato concert at VC Club. It is a huge upscale club in the Villa Country shopping mall. Make sure to get a reserved table. Some vallenato singers are more popular than others.

Get a reliable wingman. Go to Lusitania with the wingman when it opens to get rid of the "baby batter" before the concert. After Lusitania go back to the hotel to shower, shave, put on some casual but elegant clothes and put on some top-notch cologne. Then hit the vallenato concert with the wingman.

It's just that easy. Of course, this all costs money.

Distinguished gentleman of ISG. I am a TOTAL newbie to the Colombian scene and have only been once to BAQ but I frequently rtff and thought I'd share an opinion. I went in January and posted a report but I think it was lost in the bad format of "no spacing.

NOW I get it.

Although I'm new, my experience was VERY fulfilling.

I will rehash to add to the forum and give my perspective.

First of all I stayed at the (Apartahotel Torre del Prado. See attached card).

It was 125, 000/148, 000 depending on the day, weekends being the higher amount. It was girl friendly WITH discretion and wisdom. During the DAY you just breeze in with a girl who isn't dressed like a pro and there were no issues.

At night the later you come in the better. When I was there it seemed girls worked the desk by day and guys by night. There was always another steward in the lobby from 2400-0600. If you bring in a girl after 11 or so and LEAVE before 0500 the guys would let it slide, but one night me and the chica overslept and I had to pay an additional 18, 000 to 24, 000 can't remember exactly but a woman had arrived at the desk and they DO enforce the charge.

I absolutely LOVED Barranquilla. I do speak spanish FAIRLY well and can often blend in without anyone ralizing I'm a gringo UNLESS a conversation gets intense and I forget my tenses (ie. , estaba this or that.vs- estuve this or that) That's when the people pick up that I'm a gringo.

I'm a tall, slender black male. 42 yrs but noone ever guesses. Certified Personal Trainer/ Security Guard. Former Marine blah, blah. Point is I'm easy on the chicas eyes.

I went to Bodytech at Exito everyday (I think it was 30, 000 a day) and saw the most INCREDIBLE chicas there but never bothered anyone.

I like Blackjack 21 so I gambled eveyday and I preferred the Casino on the Top floor of Buena Vista, mainly because the girls dealing there were SMOKIN'. Nothing like holding two 10's and looking at two 10's at the same time. Plus sometimes they have little shows and stuff.

The people adopted me at the tables just off being freindly. I was told more than once that I was thought to have been "Cartageñero" for my complexion.

I went on lunch dates with regular girls by day, none which resulted in FS but some making out and setting up for future trips. I swear the women there NEVER forget you. Pros and Regular girls alike.

I very much enjoyed the girls at lusitanias (sp). But the prices you guys are quoting must have gone up in 3 mos. I had a TLN with two my first time there. I never wanted to do onsite it's just my thing BUT the girl I wanted wasn't comfortable by herself OR she was upselling. Who cares, her friend was hot too so nos salimos. I paid 600, 000 for as many pops as I wanted between the two from 2300 until 0400. Lots of laughing and joking and screwing and eating the food in the fridge.

I’m not well to do but I’m not a cheapskate either. I REALLY don’t judge others and how they do things (a firm believer in "to each his own") but it would be hard to hang with some of the forum members because that price haggling turns me off. OVERPAYING by an arm and a leg sure I get it, but trippin’ off of anything that amounts to an extra 5-20 USD I just don’t get it. MickeyD’s is 5 bucks a meal and I’m more than happy to give it to a girl who’s making my toes curl.

I actually do a lot of PROS here in the U. S. I live in D. C. And use "eros" girls. Pricing here is from 160. 00 for 45 min ALL covered to 300 an hour ALL covered. Top notch good looking girls but ONE HOUR and SEEYA!

So to pay that same price for TLN with a warmer chica is GREAT for me. (160. 00 I mean don’t start a flame)

I always tipped the big guy at the door of lusitanias when I left. Other prices were 280, 000 for a fake breasted girl with a gorgeous face, 2 pops from 2400 til 0245 another for 260, 000 she was drunk and BEGGING me to take her so I said Oh well it was later than usual and not much was left that I wanted. The rubio from my 2 on one was 300, 000 for another night but we went to eat at MacMondongos and I had CRAZY energy afterwards andI screwed her brains out MIGHTILY. I know she came because the rest of my time there she saw me before the club and it was FREE (no meals, no shopping, NADA)

We even talked about hooking up and she was REALLY honest. I met an Canadian Expat who lived there and married a Barranquillera and had two kids, he invited me over for the two playoff games (GB vs NY/ SD vs NE) and said he could get me a teaching job but not paying much, around 3, 000, 000. 00 cop a month. I told this to the chica and she laughed and said that wasn’t much as she makes about 6, 000, 000. 00 cop a month.

I went to various clubs and bars and found the hottest chicas in "7". Barullo is a nice LOOKING club but 7 had the hottest, drunkest girls J.

As others have said Juernes and Paserela Show were whack to me for pfp.

I hope you guys FORGIVE my writing style, my thoughts are all over the place. I’ll try to get to the point now 5000 words later.

IF you speak Spanish. It is possible to get regular girls after 3-4 dates (yep dinner and movie type stuff) OR you can pay ONCE for a pro and then if she likes you you won’t pay again (at least not cash).

Those who are planning the move to Colombia. Don’t crap on BAQ it is a secret jewel with HOT and Comparable READY women (from slim white/ light skinned spinners to coffee brown booty girls and all in between) BUT they are WARM and laidback and just like having a good time.

I’ve seen the pics on many forums (I’ve read ALL of Rio from 05 to present ALL of Columbia and ALL of DR) and I even get some of the personalities and preferences here and I actually went to Colombia off of the strength and direction of these posts so THANKS for the info and I hope I’ve given back even if it’s strangely written.

For guys that read the WHOLE ISG. I’ll give various props.

My observation from my only trip to Baq is that there is a lot more of both quantity and quality P4P in Ctg, Bogota, Medellin.. Tons of chicks in Baq, but you need time on the ground with the regular girls, and if you have that kind of time then why Baq? It is a rather ugly city with absolutely nothing to do during the daytime. My 2 cents.

Believe it or not, Ricker, I even agree with you about Lusitania. If you reread my original post, you'll see that I describe Lusitania as "lousy" and I use the word "scary" in reference to the women from Lusitania. Not exactly a glowing recommendation.

However, I wouldn't describe Lusitania as pretentious as you claim. It is easily the most upscale place of it's kind in Barranquilla, but almost nowhere in Barranquilla is pretentious. Medellin is pretentious. However, I usually have been treated well at Lusitania for the most part. It sounds like you went there too late and on the wrong night. For example, never go to Lusitania on a Friday or Saturday night at midnight. The ideal time to go would be at about 9:30 PM on a Wednesday night. Wednesday is lingerie night, the owner is there watching everything, there are far fewer guys early in the evening, etc. Thursday is swimsuit night.

I do agree that Lusitania is expensive, but it's no more expensive than upscale locations in other Colombian cities like Flores Frescas, Loutron, etc. However, the quality of the women in Lusitania is clearly far below such comparable locations in other Colombian cities. To me, that's the main problem at Lusitania. Again, Pasarela is poorly managed and Juernes is not even worth a visit.

Back to the pretentious comment. I like every Colombian city that I have visited. However, the only place in Colombian where I would describe the women as arrogant and pretentious is Medellin. Before an enormous flame war erupts, I am not saying that all Medellin women are arrogant and pretentious. However, I am saying that it is far more common to meet such women in Medellin than in other parts of Colombia. Furthermore, I am not saying that women in Medellin are unfriendly. Women are friendly everywhere in Colombia, including Medellin. However, friendly women can be arrogant and pretentious too. I like Paisas, but their "forma de ser" is different.

If you want pros, don't go to Barranquilla. You will be disappointed. If you want pros, go to Medellin or Cali. Barranquilla is for novias, non-pros, prepagos, etc. If you join the dating sites, you will have your hands full in Barranquilla. The dating sites are full of Barranquilleras. Furthermore, it's easy to met women everywhere you go in Barranquilla. However, you will look out of place without a wingman in Barranquilla bars and dance clubs.

For pros, the best option is Lusitania. However, even Lusitania is lousy. Just wait until you are sober walking around Buenavista some afternoon and you see the Lusitania girls in the daylight without being fully prepared by the stylist at Lusitania. It's scary.

Indeed, the Murillo area can be a blast. There are a ton of wild places down there in the Murillo area. Some have live sex shows. However, I do not recommend the Murillo area if you do not speak Spanish or are intoxicated (or both). At the risk of understatement, the Murillo area is sketchy. You probably will not see other "gringos" in the Murillo area. Also be aware that the girls in the Murillo area tend to be rough around the edges. However, they are economical.

Barranquilla is my favorite Colombian city, but it's not for everyone.

Just back from a trip to Colombia.

I started out in Barranquilla.

Actually went to Barranquilla to meet up with a chica from Cupidos. Had fun with her, we ended up as good friends, with some benefits, but better as friends really.

Funny thing is, while in the city, in a conversation with a taxista, I was pointing out hot chicas to him that I liked and he said he had a friend I should meet.

I said. OK.

Anyway, he called this chica, told her I was a nice guy and passed the phone to me, we chatted, made a date to meet, and met up later on.

She was a little 18 year old hottie. We went to the mall, walked around, had lunch, I treated her nicely of course.

I suggested a movie, she suggested to go back to my room for TV. I like her idea better

Anyway, she ended up seducing me. Didn't take much. Hahahaha. Had a great time with her!

I asked her why she seduced me like that, she said because I treated her so nicely, unlike the local guys.

LUCUTANIA is probably the highest end. Definitely some hot chicas there, but I found the place crowded and stuffy.

The set price of 180k CP per hour on site or 400k CP for take out. Funny. 10 CP for a crveza.

JUERNES. The most laughable of all. I visited 2 or 3 times just to see the chicas' quality. It was walking distance to my hotel.

If you like fat, ugly, or bitter chicas, this is your place.

They were telling me 150k CP per hour. Really funny.

Actually there are better looking street chicas right outside the club, on the corner, asking 50k CP for un ratico. An hour or so. A couple cuties.

PASARELES. Down the street from Juernes.

Though better than Juernes, a bit nicer club, a couple cute chicas, and one hottie, still laughable.

High priced drinks, high priced chicas. 150k CP per hour on site.

The place to go for fun in Barranquilla is on MURRILLO. Without a doubt.

I found a place on Murrillo called BANANAS.
Definitely not for everyone, but my kind of place.
It's big inside, definitely nothing fancy, but had about 25 or so chicas, at least 5 of them maybe more were 7 plus.

I would say it's important to speak a bit of spanish to really get along well in this club or the other similar clubs around.

Chica cost in the club 30K CP for the chica plus 6K CP for the room there ... 30 minutes.

I got the phone number off one hot chica, and she came over the next day for lunch and loving :) I gave her 50K CP, she was thrilled.

BOTTOM LINE:

I do like the people of Barranquilla, the chicas are beautiful, but I really enjoy both Cali and Medellin much more.

I was there for the Carnival from the 1st to the 5th of February stay in an apartahotel in carrera 47 called Cecils. If you search on las paginas amarillas (yellow pages) theres a lot of info about places to stay. Me and another buddy stayed for 2 nights and another guy stayed 4, we payed 879k COP total, we shared a room with 3 beds, satellite tv, a fridge, bathroom and ac, it was ok for my standards and it was the only thing available we found for those dates, for that money probably during non peak season you could stay there for 2 months jeje.

This place was 2 blocks away from la TROJA, a bar with loud music in an open corner that closes around 5 or 6 am or when a fight starts (I was there during one around 3 am and after that they just closed it) CAUTION this places its mostly for locals, and didn't really see alot of cute chicks there.

Its next door to a Stripclub called La HOJA? I seen that name in here, we went inside around 2 am and there were only like 2 or 3 girls mostly 5 or 6s, its a small bar with too much light.

Two blocks from there and from the Stadium the famous LUSITANIA, the place was ok I didn't see any girl dancing on the stage, all of them were busy in the tables or standing around the bar, I saw a couple of really hot chicks and some crazy ones asking for 360K COP TLN I just started laughing since my buddy got a really cute morena the night before for 120K from 1am to 11am 3 fucks, in the same place.

Now I'm 24, hispanic and blend in perfectly in Colombia or any other latin country, spanish its my primary language but they could easily tell I was not colombian by the accent.

The next day I bought el HERALDO, the local newspaper and called to 4 places that look good to visit during the day, usually the hours are from 10 am to 7 or 8 pm for the massage parlors, and the prices from 30K to 70K, there were at least 20 classifieds for independent, and casas on that paper.

But that they I ended up hooking up with a local nonpro friend of a friend, as well as the rest of my buddies, we went to the beach wich is like 40 mins from the city, I think its a private beach called Villa Country.

Next day I swapped girls with my buddies (these chicks were really cool and never paid a dime just for beers and food during the day) and went to a Vallenato concert, and I was amazed how many hot chicks I saw in that place.

Overall I had a really good time, the chicks are really friendly, easy to talk to (if you speak spanish of course), its a small city, food its good and cheap, the carnival or at least the small part that I saw it was not what I expected, I have been to better one.

And it was really easy to fuck nonpros, you just gotta know how to play the game. Papi would pay for my new boobs? Of course baby. And you never called that one. When you come back can you bring me a gift? Yeah sure mami whatever you want.

I also met decent, and honest girls that didn't fuck and that I'm going back to see really soon.
