I totally agree. I have not gone for other options in Germany, but from the reviews I've read, FKKs are more appealing to my taste for a 3-4 days trip and I assume would be the same for most short term or new visitors. For locals or those who spend a lot of time in Germany, I agree that they may prefer options other than FKK.

Good report sir! Your experience reinforces my aversion to the clubs. Ripoff pricing for mostly subpar experience. I also agree on the Spa quality-price ration, only things I didn't like are the (apparently mandatory) CBJ and the shitty rooms. Not sure if you were able to pull off a BBBJ with any of them. My experience with escorts was the best overall, top-shelf GFE (all from photoprepagos), but hated that many upcharged for stuff like BBBJ & outcall.

Thank you. BJ in general, whether it is BBBJ or CBJ, is not my thing, and I usually don't ask for it. Also, about the Spas, I specifically searched the forums for the ones that are nice, clean and large, and the ones I visited based on those info were indeed nice facilities.
Thanks for info on Brazil; it is in my to do list, but probably will not be able to explore that for at least another couple of years.

I don't think there is anything left about Bogota that has not been told here before. At the same time, I believe one of the benefits of the board is to hear various perspectives and experiences. We all come from a variety of backgrounds and may have different tastes and preferences. A girl that I may find to be a 9 or 10 might be a 5 or 6 in others' books. I wanted to make this review short and to the point, but it ended up being long. Never-the-less, I just hope it helps other like-minded members, specially first-timers to Colombia who are planning to arrange their trip.

Again, thanks everyone for answering my questions. Hope this review helps the first timers with similar situation and taste to mine.

I would like to hear some suggestions about the resisting the club's push of buying expensive alcohol for my next trip. Or how to get better deals / choices. I have to mention I really don't drink myself.

If you haven't been, try Brazil (Rio). I found it to have the most beautiful women on earth, and perhaps the most predictable GFE experience, with zero upcharge. Only downside is having to tiptoe around hotels to bring a guest to your room. Irritating!

Germany (used to be) good for cheap, but non-GFE experience with relatively hot chicks, and the FKK experience is relaxing. But I've mostly moved on.

Colombia and Brazil will be in my regular rotation going forward.

I agree with you. Why lie? Just say you're here on vacation. Tourism is very beneficial to Colombia and they won't bother you. If anything, they will feel pride that Americans want to visit Colombia instead of Argentina or Europe. They might ask where you are staying but that will be the end of the questions.

Actually they don't really worry to much about Americans and Europeans, I know many who have overstayed years and just paid a fine and got legal with a visa. I know an Aussie guy who was illegal for a 1.5 years paid 1.5 million fine and was able to get a business visa. And I also have personal experience. At this time there are 100 k+ Venezuelans here, many are illegal. But it seems to me that they are the ones being watched.

Maybe you have been walking around looking at the feet of old people. All young folks wear sneakers along with jeans and t-shirts. Stick out? Never heard in Bogota from a foreigner: Good thing I didn't wear sneakers, or I would have really been sticking out. They know you are not from there. You are fooling nobody based on your clothing.

I have spent many years of my life in Bogota, now I'm here 6 months a year. Go out to a club at night and see who is wearing tennis shoes. I also know how some people spot prey. A streetwise guy can spot a Gringos a block away even a dark one by the way they walk and the clothes they have on.

I was asked for reason of my third visit in a year without any friends or family there and staying at same hotel every time (near SF). Looks like they have record of hotels stayed. I kept telling my visit is for tourism purpose but felt it was not convincing to them. How do you manage multiple visits without issues?

Thanks for clarifying that, Routard. I can't understand why a legal vice would be such an issue, particularly when so many Colombians are participating to the point it has become such a large industry. My first thought is that officials are legitimately concerned about drug trafficking, which would have never been a problem if nobody outside of South America wanted to buy cocaine. And if you are to believe the hype on the internet, drug tourism is a big draw for people from Austria to Australia (again, this is hype but I don't know how true it is). Perhaps you can offer your take on that.

Anyways, in response to the OP, it took me two or three minutes to clear immigration at MDE on my first and only trip to Colombia. I got the impression that immigration officials are cautious about who they let into the country. I would expect they have very good reasons for that.

I've been using Tinder for a week for my upcoming trip and I've been getting a bunch of responses. Some decent but some of the price quotes are ridiculous. A lot and I mean a lot of chicas are asking for 300 to 400 USD per hour. Someone out there is paying these girls way too much for them even entertain this rate. I counter much much lower and most go away. I believe that overpaying Americans are having an effect on the market in Colombia. Just like they have in Havana and Tijuana.

Holy shit I thought I was overpaying at 600 k for a tln then I see Lidos prices. With is going on in Bogota?
