Has anyone noticed what rate the airport money exchanges are giving? I normally wouldn't ask, because airport exchanges always give a lousy rate. However, last summer the rate at the Bogota airport was very close to the ATM rate. I'll be passing through Bogota in a few weeks and need to pick up quite a bit of cash (I'm headed to a place without banks and ATMs). If the rate is still decent it would simplify things.

People who are rightly worried about looking like fish out of water in SF but still want to enjoy SF should just take a taxi and directly go to a club like Troya. Enjoy time inside the club and take the taxi just outside the club back to their hotel. Walking on the streets will not be needed if you don't have to enjoy streetie sweeties.

I was very surprised 6 weeks ago when I arrived in Bogota to get an excellent exchange rate at the cambio, right next to the baggage carousels. The same was true when my girl needed to change dollars back to pesos when she returned to Bogota in November, so I think they have made a permanent change and are now giving rates very near or possible better than ATM because no service fee like the ATMs It's rare to see Latin countries do things that make sense business wise. Airport rates were always the worst and everyone would just walk right past the cambios.

Thank you. I nearly gave myself whiplash last year when I saw the rate. I'm glad it's still good. When I have more time getting to multiple ATMs isn't a problem, but this trip I'll have 4 flights on 3 different airlines in about 20 hours. Fortunately, once I get off the last plane I've got 3 days of relaxation (with an eager 19 year old non-pro) before I have to move again.

I've been to Medellin a few times and last time there I met an SA girl who is now going to school in Bogota. I have spent the winter in the DR and thought I would do another spin through Colombia on the way home. It's really cheap to get here from the DR BTW. It was somewhat easier to go to Bogota so I thought I would see my SA girl again. When I got here she have me the run around so I could not see her that day. Well shit I am old and there is a cycle to things any way I was loaded for bear and thought I would try a very well reviewed Photoprepagos girl. I get to her place and got ghosted. Just came back from my first repeat (in Colombia, I have been twice with my porn starlet in Brazil for professional sessions). SS, you have got to do better with whom you invest your heart and money into. Look I get the emotional payoff of helping someone but if you do not get something in return like with this one, then you need to re-evaluate what you are doing. How come you are pleased? What did you get out of this?...

Appreciate your giving me some advice here. I know this advice, I have probably been more in red-pill theory than most here. And I agree with you for the most part.

By the way, that meeting with the 18 yo now that started in some sort of long-distance relationship through texts, it went nowhere. I didn't like her that much actually, but I did my part. I was already worried that she'd latch on to me too much. So I was both pissed and relieved when it turns out that she didn't really deliver on the passion she fanned up through text. It's ok, you never know the chemistry. All the while my little one in Brazil keeps asking me when I'll be back. With her there was more chemistry the first time. It's best to meet first and dream later than dream first and meet later. But OK, I knew this risk and didn't lose too much.

About that first Venezuelan girl that I said I was happy and even proud how she turned out back home, it might be an age thing. I am slightly over 50 now, and I really can take delight when a cute girl who seemed in so many ways like a child, actually starts living a life of dignity, and I feel the zest in her messages. How she likes being economically active, improve her little finca, all that. By the way, she regularly contacts me asking how I woke up and if I had eaten already. But she has "graduated" now to the point where she doesn't need to ask for money again. I was so pleased with how solid she turned out, that I suggested her to see if she could acquire some neighboring finca in my name and use it for some more planting or grazing. Land is so cheap in Venezuela, and it would be nice to remotely plant a flag there, just in case. (I live in South America now, roaming about.).

So yes, I totally agree with you, I must first care for myself and not dilute myself in care-taking behaviors for others were I don't get my needs met. I certainly am not going around now looking to save a ho and be displeased. In fact, this is precisely why I told the other girl this morning that, sorry, but if I don't feel appreciated, I prefer to not waste my time any further, and called the weekend off. Recovering a bit today, and tomorrow I will go on a repeat with one who was good with me before, or go down my list of others I wanted to try until I leave in a week or two.
