I should have added "ask your doctor for advice."

    I agree 100%.

In the long run, steroids will do more harm than good.
Some Doctors are quick to prescribe a steroid. Always question if there is an alternative and if the dosage can be reduced etc.

I don't know if you can get it without a prescription in Colombia. It might be worth a try to help deal with the Bogota altitude.
Is a steroid, it helps with breathing, it helps put extra cushion around your vertebrae and it lubricates your joints, its a temporary 30-45 days fix, the downside, it elevates blood sugar, weight, and can lead to osteoporosis. It will also eventually lead to a risk of COPD after your lung capacity has been reached. It also increases energy due to the increase tolerance of the respiratory capacity, use with caution, use only when necessary. Try NSAIDs, And Other Anti-inflammatory drugs with less side effects. I've never attempted to buy or retrieve steroids (methylprednisolone) in Colombia, the other drag is this: most pharmacist in Colombia don't give injections, therefore you buy the drug & syringe at the pharmacy and take the medicine to the Dr and the Dr administers it. Hope this helps. Pollo negro is out!

Something that might help deal with the altitude.

You most likely will not get a reply.

I posted the site on the map two weeks ago.

It has to be a very new place.

They have a Facebook page for the one in Bucaramanga and a Twitter page.

Mr Enternational, I've already told you why I'm not into nightclubs / stripcubs, who cares what you call them. I might go and check them out when I come back from the coast anyway, we'll see. I walked around the whole area in Santa Fe. I've been to many places in the world and have reported my experiences. I'm not apologising to you for asking a lot about Bogota. I have reported the where and when of my experiences. And like I said, I don't particularly care if the daytime scene in Santa Fe isn't what it used to be. I know what my taste in women is from personal experience. Anyway, you're just looking for negatives and I'm already bored of writing this reply!

LOL. Like I said, justifying your assumptions. How would you know how many interest you if you have never been? Don't know where you get the idea that you have to spend a ton on drinks (I think in my last report I said I paid 8K for a beer and heck it is free to get in) and fend off touts and ladies either. Just go see the stuff. But hey, it is your trip.

    P. S. I think the title nightclub in a conventional sense is a misnomer. It is just a brothel with music and naked chicks dancing on the stage. So it is more of a strip/fuck club than a night club.

Quite ironic that it was because of a video posted on youtube of the area that I wanted to come to Bogota in the first place! The area seemed much tidier and the chicas were way better looking on those videos!?
You have to explore a place. Your report made it seem as if you arrived, peeked around a corner, and made haste to leave. The place is a few blocks big, so I don't think you can judge by one corner; especially when it is unknown which corner you were even on. I definitely would not consider any corner "tidy" whatever the case.

I always say a quality report contains where, when, and how much. A couple of months ago in the Medellin thread a guy asked a million questions and had a bunch of concerns same as Coupe. He went to Medellin and said what a shitty time he had. In the midst of all his concern, he forgot to ask or research the when. So he was going to casas at the time he should have been going to strip clubs, and going to strip clubs the time he should have been going to bars. He was all out of sync and wondering why places were closed or only had a couple of girls working.

When you look at a video you must remember that you don't know when they shot it and much like ISG posts you do not know the taste of the person that posted it. A million guys have talked about how they don't like Asian chicks. Then they get over here to Thailand and are like this is not what I expected. Exactly. Because experience is the best teacher and you can not go of the viewpoint that someone else put on display. You have to establish your own viewpoint by means of a thorough vetting of a place.

Been there and done it too much in the past. If I can find a few cuties who give me what I want in daytime places and the internet, why bother ? I don't need to see every working chica in Bogota !

I don't think I'll bother going there at night though, as from the impression you guys gave me, the chicas in the clubs are almost exclusively skinnies, so I would just be wasting my time and money as they're not my type.

I told you from the beginning that you were overthinking everything. I am glad that you are enjoying yourself in Colombia. It is just a place with people as any other place with people on earth would be.

Coupe 66 finally on the ground in Bogota!

Hey guys, I've been in Bogota for a week now and glad to say I'm alive and kicking. Arrived with a bit of a nasty cold, probably from running around so much and getting stressed out before my trip. Thanks to those who tried to make me paranoid with the 'Passeo Millonario' stories, which probably didn't help either!

Has probably taken me until now to feel relaxed and comfortable here. I really like the people, haven't met an unfriendly person yet, they like a laugh like me, the food is good, and there are sexy looking women all over the place! Stayed the first 4 nights at the IBIS downtown, a nice and friendly hotel. The neighborhood around there is very safe during the day at least as it's the business area, though it's a bit nondescript. Moved to a really nice Airbnb near the junction of Carrera 11 and Avenida Calle 100 a few days ago for about 40 Euro a night. Seems like an upmarket business area, at lunchtime there are loads of gorgeous women around on their lunch break. Even right in front of my apartment! Today I wandered around the food court area by the World Trade centre here, never seen so many gorgeous ladies! Walking along Calle 99, going west from Carrera 11 at lunchtime was also full of talent.

Have walked a whole range of ways from here down to the area of Andino mall, and onto the Avenida de Chile Mall. I don't particularly like the Parque 93 area, or around Andino mall, too much like a snobby area back at home. Plus it's true what some people wrote that there are more hawkers there than downtown, where nobody ever bothered me whatsoever! Still, the hawkers / beggers uptown just try to get your attention, they don't do more than that.

On the downside, the pollution here is pretty bad, the pavements are a disaster. You have to really concentrate walking along them to not fall in some stupid hole and wreck your vacation! Same goes for the cliff edge drops from the pavements to the streets. I think the altitude has definitely affected me, I get tired much quicker when walking, also affects your concentration re. the sidewalks / not getting run down when crossing the road etc. Today my cold was finally a lot better and I seemed to have got more used to the altitude.

After all my questions and worries, I haven't had any issues regarding security (!?). Hardly anyone has even looked twice at me. But maybe that's also because I came so prepared. Plus I haven't walked anywhere late at night. I'm wearing jeans, crappy sneakers, a windbreaker and a cheap watch. The only downside of looking like a peasant, is that you're not going to attract the attention of any gorgeous women (in cafes / shops etc), are you? Maybe one day I'll dress smart and just hang out around here and see if I get lucky? I have been guilty of looking at my phone in the street a few times, but try to avoid doing it.

I must admit I was a bit paranoid my first few days here! It's good to research but maybe I overdid it, because I was scared of my own shadow the first time I walked out of my hotel. Now I walk all over the place in the daytime, and don't really feel nervous at all. Though if I start walking down an empty residential street, even in a good area say between where I'm staying and the Andino mall area, I will change to a busier street. I like walking down Carerra 15 as far down as Calle 65 (where the daytime motels are). The area has some life to it and it's not pretentious like around Andino mall / Parque 93. I'm not into malls by the way, but they're a good place to get your bearings, have a break, feel safe etc.

An alternative method to navigate the city which would be fun at least, is just to follow a sexy ass you see when you're out. Don't worry, this will definitely happen! Keep following the ass in question until A) You come to a street corner, then follow another sexy ass walking in another direction OR B) You just see an even sexier ass wherever you come across it and decide to follow that one. I can't guarantee that you'll end up anywhere useful but you should have fun in the meantime! Disclaimer, if you end up in the wrong part of town, don't blame me!

The first day I didn't do any mongering and just hung around the centre. On my second day I contacted a very curvy mulatta by Whatsapp, who I've been dying to shag for weeks. She sent me her details and address straight away, working out of hotel Paraiso on Calle 65, just off Carrera 14. Paid her 130,000 including oral without condom, plus had to pay the reception another 10,000. She was as good looking as her photos, but I was pretty jetlagged and it wasn't particularly memorable. Not a bad or a great first experience in Bogota. From there I walked to the Avenida Chile mall as it was my first venture into this area, and felt a bit uncomfortable walking around the streets there. I've contacted quite a few online chicas via Whatsapp, and most replied straight away, though most just sent generic replies and didn't answer specific questions (such as if they did oral without condom), until I prompted them again. By the way, several of them work at that same hotel, and as some of you have mentioned here, there are lots of similar daytime motels in the surrounding streets.

On my third day in the hotel, I woke up feeling relaxed, so decided to put on my BIG BOY PANTS (copyright Mr Enternational) and walk down to Santa Fe. By the time I got closer though I was feeling pretty nervous, It was midday on Saturday, so maybe not the best time for a lot of choice of chicas? But the selection on the street was actually pretty desperate! Looked more like a scene from the Star Wars bar and I couldn't get out of the place fast enough! Must have only seen about 15 chicas on the streets there. I think for me to take a chica to a room there, she would have to be pretty stunning, so uncomfortable as I felt in the place. Quite ironic that it was because of a video posted on youtube of the area that I wanted to come to Bogota in the first place! The area seemed much tidier and the chicas were way better looking on those videos!? Apparently, this video is from 2008 though? Still, I'm very glad I came to the city and it doesn't really bother me if I don't have any fun in Santa Fe. Maybe I'll go back again another time as I know the city better now. I don't think I'll bother going there at night though, as from the impression you guys gave me, the chicas in the clubs are almost exclusively skinnies, so I would just be wasting my time and money as they're not my type. I think my mongering here will be mainly daytime.

The next day I passed by Elixir Spa, at Carrera 16 a#77-47 at around 4 pm. The first chica who greeted me was a very pretty and sexy looking blonde with enhanced tits and ass. Sadly though, her good looks weren't a precursor for what was to follow, as none of the other chicas I was shown were much to look at! I only wanted a natural BJ as I was too tired for a shag, which she said would be 150000 (same price as for sex) plus 50000 for the natural BJ!? I thought that was too much and passed. I didn't bother with any of the other massage places from online ads, as their chicas didn't look great or they got bad reviews. Elixir Spa at least gets good reviews.

The second chica I called by coincidence worked out of the same place as the first (Hotel Paraiso on Calle 65). She looked my type on her ad, curvy and pretty, however in person she was miles better. When she opened the door I thought, damn, I've really hit the jackpot here! She was around 20, big tits, curvy hips, gorgeous face, nice skin, perfect teeth, and black hair down to her ass. Really!! And I am very picky by the way! She told me she was Venezuelan. Anyway, she charged 130000 plus another 50000 for natural blowjob. She was so good, I went back again today for seconds, which is something I rarely do!

There's nothing nicer than wandering around a cool city on vacation, after a good shag, feeling relaxed and in a good mood! I would hate to live here and never get laid, can you imagine how frustrating that would be with so much talent around!? So far that's all the mongering I've got up t in 6 days. A nasty cold, the altitude and some stomach problems haven't helped.

The first few days I had lots of transport issues. My hotel called me a regular taxi to go to Parque 93, from Taxi libre. The trip was fine, but on the way back I had to call them twice, it was totally over complicated, the first guy didn't show up, then the guy who finally came drove like a psycho in a little wreck with a broken seatbelt back to my hotel half way up the mountains along Carrera 1 / Diagonal. Another time, I stopped for a break at a bistro and asked them to call me a taxi. The chef had just stopped his shift and was an Uber driver. So by default I used Uber for the first time then. Finally got my act together the next day and registered with Uber. For my first ever Uber trip, the driver was a novice and I was to be his first passenger!? No thanks. I cancelled! But since then have used it a few times, and have to agree it's easily the best way to get about this city, cheap and safe!

Getting a Claro SIM card was easy, works fine but a pre-paid package only lasts for 15 days, then you have to renew it. Plus, I keep getting messages warning me that my phone will be blocked unless I register it, as other posters have warned about here. I tried to register it, and they also tried in the Claro shop with no luck! They now say I have to go to the head office to do it!?

Anyway, I've got 3 more days before going to the coast so hopefully I'll have some more adventures to report before then! Will probably come back to town for a few days before flying home too.

    Bogota April 6th-10th.

I'll be in Bogota for some down time next month. Would any fellow mongerers care to meet up?

There's several great Love motels in Chapinero around 63rd st west of Caracas. Many with theme rooms, Dandy is really nice.

    Here is another http://www.amartesuite.com/.

True, shit can happen everywhere, and thiefes are everywhere. But in the northern areas there is much more protection. I live in the north because of safety. South, the houses and apartments are robbed anytime, while north any building has a 24 hours safety guard. There are more cameras, more police and everywhere there are private body guards you probably never had noticed as they are discrete. Once a guy robbed the cellphone of my girl friend from the open window of the car while she was waiting at the traffic light at 200m from where we live. From the car behind her, came out three armed bodyguards showing their gun and asking the guy to give the cellphone back. Last month I was having a coffee at my favorite terras. Suddenly someone yelled for a thief in the street. In couple of no time the thief was on the ground with several bodyguards on him. This will not happen in the south.
    Have to respectfully disagree.

I talk it you don't come down here much. They have the same "logistica" companies handling security that they have anywhere else in the city, with the same level of service. I don't know what would make you think different.

And from personal experience, I don't live in conjuntos anymore and one of the main reasons is that those security people are SHADY, and not to be trusted. They are often the first people to be accomplices to theft. I prefer houses. And trust me, they get robbed MORE in the north than in the south.

A relative of mine was visiting and he was here in the south for two weeks, no problems. Goes to the Dann Norte for the last week because he wanted nicer lodging. In that week he witnessed a store being robbed right in front of him. For some reason they left him alone, though.

The T is the WORST place in Bogota to go if you're worried about safety. That's the epicenter of people getting something slipped in their drinks. You'd be safer as a solo adventurer in Bosa or Soacha than in the T (and people will be a hell of a lot friendlier, guaranteed no English though).
