I've been in Bogota for over a month now, so thought I'd write a report about SF. For the most part I've had to figure stuff out from just walking through the streets at different times and talking to people. But also got a lot of info from the forum about locations.

North and South Strolls:

Went during a bunch of different times. Personal preference is to go between 3-6 pm. There's a lot of girls out without the super-crowded spaces that you get when you go between 7-9 pm (arguably there are more girls during the evening / night, but it seems like a lot get busy). I don't go to the south stroll past 7 pm. I've found that while there's a lot of girls there, you don't get quite the same quality. My personal preference is for the houses along carrera 15. Prices for the north stroll seem to be regularly 50 k while on the south there are girls that agree to 40 k.

One thing I've been wary about is girls that aren't part of a casa. For girls around carrera 15/ calle 22 I read it's usually they don't have ID. But in some other places I kind of assume there's a reason, like drugs, why they can't join a casa. Total guess, so someone else can clue me in here.

Clubs:

For all the time I've spent here, I haven't really checked out that many of the clubs. In the beginning I went to Troya a bunch. Was a fan and got prices listed between 80-100 k. Went during basically every possible time of the day / night but it never seems to be that busy? Still a lot better than Paisas. That place is basically always empty. Atunes is supposedly a solid day club but never went (or seen it). Texas only went once and felt kind of claustrophobic (so much fog). There's Atares or whatever it's called on the corner of 24/16 a. That place seems to get crowded at night but never spent a lot of time there.

Then there's Fiebre and Venus. These two places seem to be the most popular by far, with each one having a very different vibe / crowd. First two times I went to Fiebre around 8-9 pm and saw there were only like 4-5 girls and thought it was just a dead club. Totally wrong about that. Went once during a weekday around 11 pm and it was actually jam packed. Now I've been to Fiebre the most, and in my opinion it has the most attractive girls. I've been quoted between 120 k-150 k for the girls I asked, and most of them that say 150 k agree to 120 k.

Originally I thought 120 k was more of a gringo price, but was told by some locals about the same quote from the same girls. I heard 100 k is more of the norm? But I haven't seen it. A bottle / table costs 100 k. I'm sure there's different drinks / prices, but this was a while ago so I don't remember what was ordered. Had a few bad experiences in Fiebre but for the most part they're good.

For Venus, I actually haven't spent that much time in there. Generally seems to be a younger crowd (girls + guys). Have only been there past 11 pm when it's crowded so don't know what it's like earlier.

Safety:

So when I first landed in Colombia I basically never went out past around 7 pm. Slowly got more comfortable going out, especially with Santa Fe. I think I slowly got a bit too comfortable. Walked to, around, and back from Santa Fe at 1 am. By myself. Definitely a really dumb decision. Nothing happened but the streets are definitely spookier when they're empty. During the day time I find it's basically fine, and I'm usually OK with walking around until 9 or 10 pm. Past that have always opted to take an Uber. But think you generally need to always be mindful. Was told to avoid some of the smaller clubs. Example heard that someone got drugged and robbed in Dubai Club. Don't know details so you can treat that as unverified rumour.

This is not a dodgy area. CRA 7 is the main tourist through fair. It is closed off to automobile traffic and is used by pedestrians and bicyclists. In fact every time I'm in Bogota I go eat at SBA Broasters right there on Cra 7 and Calle 22 (excellent fried chicken there) and I have never once had a problem over there.

Now the areas where the street girls work over on the other side of Avenida Caracas yes that is a dodgy area, but a little common sense and street smarts go a long way.

I fly to Bogota towards the end of my trip to hang out a few days.

I do like it there. I had fun. I just believe the street girls are of higher quality in Medellin.

Just my opinion.

I asked my gal about the Medellin / Bogota difference, and I was surprised at how much we saw the same thing. Medellin has Bogota beat on the weather, traffic, pollution, and IMO the beauty of the women. Bogota has to more to offer as a city because of it size, but her biggest difference (and mine) were the quality of the people. She said people in Medellin were more image conscious, stuck up, shallow, and materialistic.

So if you want to bang a lot of hot strange, then Medellin wins. However, if you want to bang a lot of good looking but friendlier women, Bogota wins. And if you are looking for a sugar baby, GF, or wife, Bogota wins as well. I guess if you are looking for looks over trustworthiness in a sugar baby, I would give Medellin the edge there too.

And when I say sugar baby, I mean women you hang out with and bang on multiple occasions. Do not do anything other than pay per meet until you really, really get to know her, and that means preferably years of knowing her.

Was out last night. The clubs were fairly tame though when I had decided to call it a night I walked past Antones and of all places it seemed to be going off in there with a lot of people visible from the street. Troya was good as usual. Got a couple of dances and received a mouthful of pussy which to my surprise she let me lick. Nothing that peaked my interest except for one girl, tall and a great body but she couldn't walk straight and seemed out of it. In my beginning days I always thought those would be the best but after a number of bad experiences of either the girl throwing up, passing out or becoming belligerent in the room, I tend to steer clear of obvious high / v drunk ones. The beer, long travel day and altitude had me feeling a bit off so I decided to call it a night.

The streets though. Damn. There were cuter girls on the streets last night IMO. A lot of young, slim cuties with great bodies. There was a particular group of 3 that looked amazing but they were with guys and wasn't exactly clear if they were BF / GF or if it was sg's talking with friends. Bring Valentine's Day night there seemed to be more than usual of that and I'm guessing that coupled with a Tuesday meant the club scene wasn't as good as some other nights. Decided to not get in the middle of the girls and guys and ask though I circled twice to see if they broke off but unfortunately they didn't.

Back to the hotel and literally passed out on the bed I was so tired. Feel great today so can't wait to get back down there. Damn I love this place.

I'm a street guy and have been for years.

I know the street scene well in both cities.

I speak Spanish well.

Bogota definitely has more girls available, Medellin, IMO, has much better quality.

Though I fortunately found a few keepers in Bogota, on the streets of SF, there were lots of low quality IMO.

Medellin, for me, had way better quality, on the streets anyway.

In Bogota, however, the clubs are way better. Again IMO.

Venus was my favorite club.

Always found a sexy girl in there to play with, LOL.

You just missed me. I just landed in Bogota tonight, but I'm out again on Wednesday. Had some Delta credits I needed to use up.

The immigration line was backed up out the door and out to the middle of the 2nd conveyor. Took 1 hour 45 minutes to get through. Fortunately, they were pushing people through pretty quick.

How many blocks in centro? 2-3? Compared to SF with 8+ and girls all night -- Actually many Paisa come to Bogota-- so there is that-- At peak times density is fantastic with groups of8-10+.

Also there are girls that work early morning and lunch-.

Let's not forget that there are strolls in other areas too, a big one called Premiere de Mayo and as I remember near Zona Rosa and Chapinero-.

Medellin is definatey inferior in clubs and strolls.
