Might have missed out on the best session of your life running from those ugly chicks.

    This is not 'higher end'.

The Tequendama at this point is like a morgue. That place is a dinosaur, with much of the retail gone, except for jewelry stores and the coffeeshop. Even so, we like and seek out these kind of places for the faded, grand old style. But because of street noise from the antiquated and disrepaired windows, the Tequendama is a one nighter and gone -- gone across the street to the modern enough and thoroughly charmless Ibis.

The Ibis hotel is located far north of Santa Fe. Even far north of Chapinero.

This is what you see on the Google map.

Could you please explain where exactly those hotels are located?

    Thanks.
You're looking at the wrong Ibis hotel. It's Ibis Museo that he's talking about.

Nice rooms and fast internet since I was working in the daytime. Just don't go the restaurant at this hotel for lunch or dinner unless you have several hours to kill. I think all hotels are understaffed now but the wait time was ridiculous.

    Santa Fe

I've found that Santa Fe is pretty good every night except Monday night when it's pretty dead. Week days versus weekends is a double edged sword though. The top talent generally only comes out on weekends but then you'll be fighting with the locals to pull the hottest girls. The hottest girls will usually be sitting with locals and giving lap dances all night. On week days it's mostly regular Venezuelan girls who are there every night of the week without a break. But at least they are easy to pull on week days as most of the locals are just there to drink and don't pull too much.

Mezzanine is open in the northern part of town. In google maps its called "Ababellas de la 104", crs. 15## 104-03, it's across the intersection from Dann Carlton Hotel, not to be confused with Casa Dann Carlton Hotel and Spa. When I went about a week ago it was mostly ugly girls. There's four small apartments with 3 girls each. When I walked passed the first door they tried to pull me into a room with a really ugly girl as fast as possible. I made an excuse that it was my first time there and I wanted to look around first. I walked to the second door and it opened to more ugly girls. When I walked past the third door they only opened it a crack but I was able to glimpse a pretty hot girl there. After checking out door 4 and not being impressed, I went back to the third door.

They tried to put me with one of the ugly girls but I asked if I could get with the hot girl and they said ok. This girl was very tall and slim with very long legs. She looked really hot with a black leather skirt. The rate was 100 K COP for one hour in a tiny room with small bed. She gives you an oil back rub for first 15 minutes, then starts a hand job. After that it's full service although no BBBJ. This girl was hot and I spent a lot of time just fingering her while she gave me a hand job. We went over time about 30 minutes so I gave her a 50 K for the time and another 50 K for the great service. I overpaid but was just really happy with the session. It could have turned out really bad if the girl in the first room was able to trap me in there. I wouldn't session with most of the girls in this place even if it was free.

    Best options on a Sunday?

    Thanks

Thanks everyone that responded to my post about arriving early. I have a novia that will be meeting me shortly after I arrive so it's all good. That was the reference about finding someone to occupy my time LOL.

Also thanks for the detailed report about returning to Canada, very useful.

I just returned home from Bogota August 26th, so I will describe what I experienced. I got my PCR test at a Gencell Pharma tent on the same street as Cusco La Parque 93 in Bogota. Provided my passport and personal information and paid 210,000 COP. Process was quick and easy. No appointment needed and the test was not painful and my results were negative. However, they did screw up the date and I had to go back and have them correct it with the lab, adding stress to the process. I took the test at 1:45 PM on the 23rd, which put me 68 hours before departure. However, the lab put a date timestamp of 08/23/2021 00:00 which was very incorrect and put me outside the 72 hour range. Thankfully they corrected it and sent me the correct document. Both times, I received my document by email in less than 24 hours.

No problems at all checking in or using the ArriveCan app. I was prepared and uploaded both my vaccination slips and answered all the questions, including providing a quarantine plan, if required (it was not required as I am fully vaccinated.). I checked in online and that was uneventful.

I had my passport, ArriveCan receipt from my email, my negative PCR test, both proof vaccination slips in paper and digital form and my boarding pass ready for verification at El Dorado. Canada specifies the test result must be in English or French, but with the timestamp screw-up, I did not have time to get a "certified" translation, so I did a Google translate and took a picture of the Spanish / English side by side. Nobody in Bogota or Canada questioned my Spanish form. I had asked for it in English, but Gencell Pharma screwed that up too (twice). I arrived at El Dorado for a 10 AM departure at around 6:25 AM and I whizzed through, so I had over 2. 5 hours to kill. Bought a bottle of Arguardiente to take home and had breakfast at Orleans.

Got to Pearson airspace on time, but due to weather, I got off the plane 90 minutes later, around 6:30 PM or so. Pearson was an absolute shitshow at that time. It took another hour to get out and I actually helped some non-English speakers navigate the process. Staff were quite personable despite the chaos. I had passport, ArriveCan receipt from my email, my negative PCR test, both proof vaccination slips in paper and digital, but they did not ask to see the vaccinations. Again, my Spanish PCR test was not questioned.

I got the green light to exit and was not randomly selected for another Covid test or additional screening. Got my luggage and met my ride to go home. Sucks it takes so long, but I had a great vacation with my Costena novia and her roommate and we enjoyed Cartagena and Bogota together. It was a pretty long day, but I did not want to risk not getting home on my planned date.

The process is not super complicated, but obviously more complicated than whipping out your passport prior to Covid. Yes, it is stressful the first time. My advice would be arrive early at the airport, be organized, do all the steps on time and do not wait to the last minute. Have your paper / digital documentation ready in advance, be personable and be organized and you will be fine. I will probably go back in November, assuming Ontario does not go into another lockdown due to the anti-vaxxers giving Covid a 4th wave here.

I hope this helps. Of course my experience went well because I have been fully vaccinated, have never had Covid and tested negative in Bogota. If you are the same, your experience should be similar or better than mine. I'm sure the process will change some more, but my experience is very current. Any questions, feel free to ask. I am happy to try to help.
My arrival back at Pearson was more of a nightmare. I too have been fully vaccinated, but had to register and create an account with the company that screens for Covid, and then go through the interview and test and everything. At least an extra hour. The thing is that they kept treating you as if you needed to go the full quarantine route, gave me the kit to do the 8th day test, etc. All the while I was exempt from all of that having been fully vaccinated. I wasn't aware that I was randomly selected even though fully vaccinated. But there was enough chaos in that area that perhaps that was what happened.

Do we know what hotels in Chapinero / zona G are girl friendly? The Airbnb route is not working out.

    Spaish speaking guide and wingman

I am visiting in October for 2 weeks. I am non-Spanish speaker. I would be afraid to use my Iphone to google-translate in certain areas and situations. I am planning to have woodman's tour, but beyond that I think I could use a wingman / interpreter during my mongering excursions. If the person is a local girl or local guy, and cost is reasonable, it would work out for me. I have found a guy in Medellin for my Medellin trip. I could use one in Bogota too. Please PM me If any one has contact of someone in Bogota.

Btw, it only sucks if he chooses it to.
Another option would be to check into a love motel. It's been awhile since I researched them in Bogota, but I believe there are several that give 6 hours for about 50-60 k. There are some just west of Pussy House.

If your staying at the hotel I recommended to you, I can make a call and you can check in early at no charge. Let me know.

We don't know his financial situation, but right now it sucks no matter what. Every direct flight from Toronto to Bogota arrives at 3:55 AM, which is brutal! I totally agree with you though. I trade $60 for sleep every time. I even book the City Express Plus near the airport on the last night before coming home. Takes labor strikes and traffic out of the equation, especially in this Covid era where being late to the airport can cost you your flight home and subsequently possibly screw up the timing on your negative Covid test.

Hoping to fly back to Bogota in November, pick up my novia and then to San Andres for 5 or 6 days.
