However, I'll clear it up for you. I didn't go to swim in the water, or to drink it. I went because it's quite a scenic area and it was on my list of places I wanted to photograph. I also had 2 girls with me, both of whom really enjoyed the trip.
For future reference, could you send me a list of things I'm allowed to do and places I'm allowed to visit? That way I don't have to request your approval every day.

So I booked my room for 2 adults. I had one prepago visit on Friday. The receptionist said that since I've had one guest already no more can visit my room. I asked about the guest fee. He said I reached my limit. I tried to pay the fee early before the ladies arrived. Is he bullshitting me? Please respond quickly. I have two chicas coming at 7:30 pm.

Posts: 164Hello, mi planing visit Colombia for first time in my life, beguining August, as I never was there mi a bit concerned about dangerous there, I have been to Brazil, I guess is similiar in terms of danger, but I would be happy, if you can give me some nice info about Bogota.
1 – what side in the city is good for a foreign tourist, just looking safety and shops restaurants around, not looking for street hookers, don't like this.
2 – is really as dangerous the city in terms of robbing with weapons, kidnappings and using of burundanga and other drugs?
Thanks to everyone who can advice me.

Just arrived in Bogota on Thursday. I went Flirt that night. The provider spoke excellent English and said she was recruited to an American escort service and will work in the States starting August. On Friday I went to Lido. The club sucks monkey balls (stark white walls) but there was a Paisa who caught my attention. I was surprised she moved to Bogota for sex work, but she said this is where the money is. That girls like her (I. E Paisa, fake boobs) can charge 600+. Haven't visited Santa Fe area yet. If someone wants to join me tonight or Tuesday, let me know.

I know Colombia very well and I had to jump on misinformation which in my opinion ruins the forums, not than almost every confirmed that what has been said is misinformation.
I think the Argentinian thread stopped to attract people because of the cleaning by authorities of brothels' and clubs making the hobby less easy.

Hey All,
Will be in Bogota at the end of next week.
But its my first time and my Spanish skills are very very limited.
But maybe you can help me, how to ask the right questions.
What are the correct translations for these questions.
1. The price is for short time or long time?
2. Which service is included?
3. Is BBBJ possible?
4. What is the price for the hotel?
Then how are the prices for the short time hotels? 1 HR /2 HR?
How much to pay for the room or the service guy of the clubs / casas (just Santa Fe)?
What prices are rip off?
Some places in Santa Fe (Hotels / Club) to definitely stand away from?

I have been with ISG so long I don't remember when I started. After many years traveling to Europe I began traveling to SA. My first stop was Buenos Aires. Beautiful city and 12-14 years ago this was the hot spot in SA. This is a guess but I would say in 7-8 years I visited BA at least 30 times. I thought about moving there but no ocean was a draw back so I checked out Rio. Wow this was BA with an ocean. A few years later I checked BA out again and the ISG site was dead. It went from the most active ISG site to dead. I made a post asking what happened. From several senior members I got the same answer. Members would make a post and here would come the replies telling them how their post was stupid or how could their opinions be so ridiculous. They said this happened so frequently it was as though some members were just waiting for a post so they could reply with something nasty. Participation fell off and now it is what it is.
All the ISG sites in Colombia are great. Many members love to read it daily. I do. I don't travel as often as I once did but reading all the Colombia sites is a good way to keep me up on what's going on. If a member wants to post something critical or nasty about someone's post I would suggest you post it on one of the Bangladesh sites, they love that trash talk.
Just my opinion.

Thursday morning I headed to the airport (as always, too early) to catch my flight back to Atlanta. I just needed to show my passport and flight information to get into the airport. However, the person prechecking passengers before they approached the counter questioned me pretty extensively. Where did I stay? What places did I visit? What did I do at Guatape? What were some of the sights on the boat tour? What do I do for a living? What specific area do I work in?
After questioning I was able to approach the counter. There I had to show my certificate of recovery from Covid and my prior positive test results. Nobody at any point asked about the Check Migración form, which I had filled out.
At the gate I can as called up again and I was asked if they had checked my Covid test results at the ticket counter. I said yes and that was it.
Arriving in Atlanta I was first off and there were only a few people in front of me at the Customs line. I got held up a few minutes because the officer in my line was blatantly hitting hard on the woman in front of me. Some serious thirst going on there. He only spent a few minutes looking over my passport and asking some basic questions. Nothing like the interrogation I got from Delta. I was waiting in Baggage Claim about 8 minutes after I got off the plane.
Overall it was a good return flight, although the heat and humidity hit me hard after 2 weeks in Bogota.
One major difference this trip from last year, nobody was checking people for fever. Only place that checked was the restaurant at Parque Mundo Aventura. There were a few places where I was asked to sanitize my hands, but very few. Masks are still common, but not as universal as last year. I did see a cop in Medellin stop a girl and make her mask up.

For my last day in Bogota (post quarantine, pre flight) I played tourist. The first stop was Salto del Tequendama, a large waterfall about an hour drive from the airport. It's only about 30 miles, but you have to deal with Bogota traffic.
Other than the traffic, it's a pretty easy drive, only a short stretch of somewhat winding roads. There's a wide spot in the road with a couple of little makeshift restaurants at the only decent viewpoint. There's also another spot to pull over just a little bit further. You can't see the waterfall from there, but it's a really nice view of the valley.
Just don't look too closely at the water. It's nasty. At one point the road passes fairly close to the river and you'll want to have the windows rolled up. It's basically an open sewer.
Back in Bogota we went to Parque Mundo Aventura, a fairly small amusement park. The cost per person, for the unlimited day pass, is 59,900 COP, which includes lunch (no more than a 15 k value). Although we had a good time, it's not worth the price. There are a couple of halfway decent rides, but nothing you'll regret missing.
I did leave Bogota with a better impression. I might consider spending a few days there next time strictly for mongering.
