And has lived in Bogota for at least 10 years and very familiar with SF and Bogota. It truly can happen, anywhere, anytime to anyone. I remember in the Help days in Rio. The most dangerous area for us Gringos was between Help and Bob's on Rua Djalma Ulrich, Everyone knew, never walk down that street. You could avoid any real injury in Rio by having a few reals in your pocket, throw it up in the air and run and you were home free, NOT IN Colombia. Now, it seems to me Colombia has become to most dangerous area to practice our hobby than ever before. Also many robbers are of "shoot first" ask questions later type. There is so much poverty now that people are going hungry. Don't trust the girls either, they are controlled by there boyfriends and will do whatever they say and Devils breath has made a big comeback in recent months. Not trying to scare any newbies here but it's best to pass on Colombia, my favorite country, for the time being.

Wow, by gods grace go thee.

8 months ago I knew something was wrong with my gringo buddy here in Medellin, we talk almost everyday and I could not reach him for 2 days so drove over to his apartment and banged on his door for 5 minutes, he finally opened the door with a fucked up look on his face, completely drugged out look, he had urinated in his pants and had no idea who he was or where he was or what day it was, he did recognize me 'barely', yep 2 nights before he had a Tinder girl over to his apartment alone, he remembers taking one small sip of a coke he was drinking (he drinks no alcohol) and remembers a funny taste, that was all that he remembers.

He could not believe that it was almost 2 days later. She stole his 2 iPhone and about 3. 000.000 in pesos.

He learned a hard lesson and now thankful that he is alive.

BTW, he does not do anymore Tinder girls but has a stable of about 10 local girls, not pros, of which he sees about 2 to 4 each day, everyday and no more Tinder.

A few nights ago we did a double date to a local restaurant then partied with these chicas back at his apartment, it was a fun night and there is safety in numbers as we watch each others back.

Much love and respect to all! Be safe!

    The Tall Man.

I was going to Rio de Janeiro however I live in Israel. Israel just banned all travel to Brazil. So now I've booked a flight to Bogota. How about this: Rent an airbnb in the Zona Rosa. Stick to some local brothels like Absolut Spa and Tantra Spa. What can go wrong?

It's been a while since I heard about any guys hit by this. The last time I heard about it the guy actually helped the girls and their boyfriends empty his apartment. When he came out of ether a few days later he asked the doorman why didn't you stop them? The doorman said YOU were helping them carry the shit out. They can blow it you face or drop it in your drink and your fucked for a day or 2. It's easy to get, the flowers grow abundantly on the trees in Bogota.

    Be careful out there

I haven't posted on this sub in a long time as I'm not living in Colombia anymore as I did in 2019. I did visit for a month in December 2020 and am going to go back for a month in July.

I have been to Brazil and other countries in South America but I would say Colombia is hands down the most dangerous out of all of them as I have never witnessed so much petty robberies and armed (knive) robberies in real life compared to other countries. In regards to Santa Fe, I have not ever been robbed there (aside from prostitutes and waiters "forgetting" to give back the change). I would visit Santa Fe here and there during my time in 2019 and would see the occasional street fight and even seen a cop get the shit beat out of him by a Santa Fe Hood guy next to the transmilenio there LOL. But there was one time where I was eating salchipapa outside of the kiosk / restaurant next to the Piscina night Club. The restaurant took out the food cart to block the entrance of their fast food restaurant that day to serve people only in the street (that restaurant does that a lot). All of a sudden we heard a lot of gunshots from the other end of the street and a wave of prostitutes and people were running from the scene towards us. I saw a guy limping as he was shot in the leg asking the Taxis for a ride and every single one ignored him. We (the 3 patrons) rushed in the restaurant (getting the cart out of the way) to be safe inside the restaurant. The workers refused to close the doors so that the active shooters wouldn't come in. They said "If you're going to be around these streets you can't be scared" as they continued to fry the French fries outside. What happened was that there was a shoot out between police and gangmembers. That was the first and only time I see that type of thing happen in Santa Fe so its not common.

South side of Bogota- I would say to anyone to stay away from here. Here is the news report (video below) of a 4 month undercover operation that the district was conducting to finally shut down 20 clubs in el Primer de Mayo in July 2019 where 500 policemen stormed the clubs in that street. At (3:36 time) you can see how the police break down the doors of numerous clubs. Most of those clubs sale fake alcohol (liquor adulterado) to increase profit margins and use scopolamine / Colombian roofies (4:18 time). They use scopolamine to steal male customers phones, wallets and empty their bank accounts or credit cards which can be seen in the beginning of the video where workers of those clubs go to the store to buy million of pesos worth of stuff or at the ATM machine. They found hundreds of stolen credit cards in those clubs that night (Time 4:50). This happened in 2019 after I left Colombia. I went back in January 2020 and they are ALL still open. ALL of those clubs pay the local police so that they don't have to close down. I don't know how the city lets the police station from that neighborhood get away with it. I remember some guy on this forum said that he lived near that area for years and never heard of something like thisheppen in that area. I honestly think he is living under a rock, as I can't bring myself to believe him, as everyone who lives there knows that's true.

I think the situation is getting worse. As 2 of my friends were drugged in a normal night club in Chapinero last month. Their guards were down since clubs in the North of Bogota aren't known for robbing their customers and they weren't in a prostitute / strip club. It was just a lesbian couple that drugged / robbed them. He knows that because in the morning he saw that lesbian couple recorded a video of themselves kissing with his stolen Iphone on the cloud. They turned it off 2 hours after that and he couldn't track it anymore. First time that I personally hear of 2 guys getting drugged, its always when its just one guy by himself. So if you're going to go, be careful out there because that drug can kill you if they pour too much. You basically fall asleep and never wake up. Take care.

You are correct but what started it is when the government stupidly, recently, raised taxes.

SF is usually ok in the center, it gets more risky the more you venture away from the center. I'm surprised because the bosses of SF try to keep things quiet, bad for business. BUT I repeat 'there is no safe area' Colombia has gotten more dangerous by the day. My novia's family has been repeatedly robbed in Bogota. She has lost 3 cell phones, a bag of food and a few dollars. She barely escaped from a Venezuelan. As she walked from one small mall to the other. He put a gun in her rib and started to drag her to a closed construction site. Thank God she had the stun gun I gave her previously, How she got the courage to stand up to this guy but she hit him with the taser and he jumped back and ran away. Her brother lost 2 cell phones and had his bike stolen from 2 muggers, likewise with her mother, phones and her entire paycheck One day she was working out in Mosquera, a small town 45 minutes outside of the south of Bogota. Finally, her father a taxi driver, walked a few blocks from the apartment to buy a few things from the market and 2 guys surprised him in a mugging, he didn't comply quickly enough, they shot him twice, once in the leg and once in the head, the one to head was meant to kill him. He was in a coma for a month and recovered after 3 months of intense therapy the son of a ***** recovered enough to resume his work as a taxi driver. All this has happened to ONE family in the last 2 and a half years. You need to keep your guard up 24/7 take a cab and have a safe trip and stay alive.

    Santa Fe

Hung out in the South Stroll area near the Monaco building. The place is Moto Central. Those guys love hanging out in the area. Lots of good talent. 35 k for a session with a chica including room. Had several. Good sessions. Lots of plastic surgery around. Ran into a rare Colombiana, all natural, that offered a semi GFE experience with BBBJ. Actually she was the best session for the day. I hung out a little bit in the pool hall that sells the meat in the store front and hot food. There's a beer bar inside with beer for 3 k. Played some pool with the fellas. It was weird playing pool with no pockets on the table. Also played a game in the back where you toss these small steel balls and try to get them through a metal frog and 2 other metal pieces and holes. Pretty interesting game. The passer is out in the open with no privacy but I wasn't bothered but a little surprised. Explored other parts of Santa Fe. Lots of girls out that were questionable in age so be careful and choose wisely. The block where the AutoLavado 16 is populated with TS walkers so beware. Santa Fe was bustling with activity. Lots of variety and choices to keep you busy for hours.
