I'm lucky to have a large apartment I rent from the owner for $770 mil. Not in the best neighborhood, but great location. Utilities are $100 more or less.

And I eat out a lot sometimes spending $10 for a meal But usually $3-$7.

Of course my pussy budget is not included here, I usually will spend $25-$40 on a 2 or 3 sessions.

Actually, if you want to economize in Bogota there are many good restaurants that are not expensive that locals go to ($3-$5 lunches) also coffee places, bars.

If you are in an AirBnB and cook a bit that would really be cheap.

I agree, I tip my hat to Woodman as this gives me some hope as next year I will be living in Colombia full time and having already purchased and paid for my apartment in Medellin along with all the furnishing and new car and motorcycle I am budgeting about $1,200 a month in total for my life in Colombia.
