I thought American Military fought to maintain global order and to assert America's status as global police. Do you have any books which show how military helps maintains USD as reserve currency?

For now. At some point things will change and likely dramatically. Reserve currency status is not permanent.

And the riots and protests have just about destroyed the little confidence in the Colombian financial standings so the US Dollar is headed north, love it!

I should have my vaccine jab next week, the first one, and can't wait to visit SF with you again Woodman.

Be careful what you wish for. I know further deterioration in the COP makes our hobby cheaper, but if this devolves into complete social breakdown, do you really want to live there?

A lot going on in Bogota lately, Pepperspray Days, lockdowns.

I'm just glad the cops stopped the anarchists from burning the bus they destroyed in front of my building. They also pulled up a bunch of bricks from the median divider and were braking those up for ammo.

Just was out and I saw they busted a bunch of upper floor windows at the Attorney General's office and busted a bunch of traffic lights. Not sure what that gets the people?

Most of the street battles were yesterday MayDay, running battles here in downtown. I guess the rainy season has come late this year, could have been worse-- The rain has been pretty heavy heavy and everyday so that helps.

I went through Santa Fe today and there were girls -- not as many, I would say at least 50 in both area-- I banged this 2 of my Venezuelan GFs-- had a good time. Tomorrow night should be in full swing.

Camilo Novoa Bolivar is a great dentist / oral surgeon. He does a lot of implants and has a clinic on Calle 125 near the Carulla.

First time to Colombia at beginning of April, only a few days. Was planning to MDE, but changed to Bogota due to the curfew at MDE. Got a lot info from the forum prior to my trip, just want to contribute my 1st report on the forum.

He has several dentists that work in his clinic they do other work-- Dr Camilo is also a professor at Javeriana University.

I have had quite a bit of work there-- he is a great person and excellent dentist.

Where would the best place to look for hotel recommendations. Thanks.

On what area you want to stay at. Bogota, in the past, has a lot of traffic. Somewhat less during covid. For example, if your a S. F. Guy its more centrally located so a little to the north or south would be ok. But if you want to hit the north area and your hotel is in the south it can take 2 hours to get to you destination. For the last 9 years I always stay at a Chico Norte hotel that's very clean and safe. If your interested in a chica friendly place, near Parque 93 shoot me a pm.

just want to contribute my 1st report on the forum.

Great first report ITraveler. Even if it was a short trip, you could manage to check out the different options in Bogota: Santa Fe, Chapinero day brothels, massage parlors and high end northern clubs. Looks as if the northern high end clubs scene fits to you. Some prefer Santa Fe, and as for me, my prefered scene are the day brothels of Chapinero. That's why it is important to check it out by yourself, we are all different with different background, experiences, expectatives and tastes. Keep reporting.
