Interesting information about the realities of flying these days.... Things like this make me surprised that masks are not 100% mandated on flights for everyone.

Yes, it will depend on what the airlines perceive as being in their best interests.

Passengers are spaced if the flights aren't full, but I'd be surprised if they are limiting seat sales if the demand is there. Maybe they are, but if it isn't government legislation they are turning away revenue.

The masks I can understand why they aren't enforced on passengers, but if I was an attendant or their union I would be more comfortable under a mandate.

This is interesting because it shows Santa Fe before lock down and after. At 9;30 you can see how they clear the streets about 8 pm.

Although the lock down supposedly ended yesterday so they may let things stay open now.

Interesting information about the realities of flying these days. I heard a plane flew from Amsterdam to Curacao last week. While on the way, the people in Holland figured out that a passenger on the plane had actually tested positive for corona prior to flying-but there was some sort of mix up. They had to quarantine a bunch of people upon arrival in Curacao. Things like this make me surprised that masks are not 100% mandated on flights for everyone.

It depends on airline. Flight attendants all wear protective clothing, mask, goggles, gloves for trans pacific flights on most Asian airlines. Some block out a lot of seats. All lounges are closed in US airport while all lounges are open in several Asian cities. The flight attendants only wear mask when flying between Asian countries where there are no active cases. Some airports disinfect you and your luggages before leaving the airport. I guess that is the difference between no cases and many cases.

Further to my earlier posts that airlines will never legislate seating spaces eg the 'checkerplate' proposal of people only in every second seat, there will however be some changes of your flying experience additional to noted previously.

I've been flying a lot these last few weeks and of course the first change is they give out these fly well packs, of a mask and wipes. That will continue for a loooooong time. I doubt you will be forced to wear the mask as their liability ends on offering them. Maybe ten percent are actually wearing them currently. It's up the the passenger.

Flight attendants are not bothering with them for the most part, again maybe one in ten are.

The big change though that will affect the long haul flights, is they much less like you changing seats now So when you see a mostly empty row and think you may move over there and lay down for a sleep, that is far less likely to be allowed, which is frustrating as that is usually the first thing you do on boarding. Scope where you want to move to the second the seat belt sign goes off.

Time to try and chat up the crew on check in to see if you may be able to get some space around you, if the flights not full, because otherwise you're going to get the inevitable "Can you please return to your allocated seat sir! ".

That young chica in the pink is super cute!! In this other video by the same person they show the same neighborhood after the lockdown. It's not until later in the the video at around 7:21. Even after locked down there are some chicas on the street!

Actually I think the putas have it better than a lot of "normal" people. If a girl works in a shop or restaurant that has to close, she's out of luck. But for putas, there are always customers who will violate whatever lockdown or curfew that is in effect to get some pussy.

Most of them are sticking with regular clients from pre-lockdown or at least people recommended by them.

You can run on fumes financially here in Colombia for a long long time. Once you stop partying this can be an incredibly cheap place to live. That's what I'm doing right now and that's what most of them are doing.

My WA box has been flooded by almost every girl I have known in Bogota over the last few years asking for help. The situation is dire for these girls and their families. No Job, no food, can't pay the rent. I did help 2 of my really close friends but you can't help them all. I think anybody who gets down to Bogota in September will be in pussy up to his neck and most likely at a very reasonable cost.
