I checked in about 5 AM, so I was alone. Room reserved for 2, as usual. I went to my room alone and had a 5 hour sleep before she came over. I met her downstairs and we went our for dinner. Coming back, I walked with her to the elevator and we were stopped by security just as I pressed the call button to go up to my room. She was dressed like a lady, nothing overtly sexy, so her attire was not an issue. It was cold (for her), so she was covered up. We went to the reception and checked her in officially. They took a copy of her cedula and that was that. No drama, no fees, no issues.

What I did find really odd is how did they know? It was different staff at night. Both reception and security. It was my second night at the hotel so I was not known to the new staff. After that, I was never asked to check her in, so they must have known somehow.

My curiosity is how could they have known she was not checked in? It would be pretty embarrassing for them if they stopped us and it turned out she was already checked in. Not a big deal, but it made me wonder how we are being watched at this hotel..

I like that you brought 3 women back no problem at Ibis. I was wondering if they were still good with visitors. It is nice to know they are.

I do not know if you saw on the Medellin forum where Paulie and Mr. E were talking about wearing shorts. Paulie said you are a target if you wear shorts and Mr. E said that was dumb; they can tell you are a foreigner and know when you are a monger when you bring back loads of women to your hotel. I honestly thought Paulie's comment was off because I have people speak English to me before I have said anything. Even if you speak Spanish, there are different accents. I have hotels call me after a girl leaves and asks if everything is okay all the time. So I think hotels mark down when someone comes in and out even if they do not call you though. Then you see enough women if you work there and you would recognize their faces. How many hos are there realistically at Santa Fe? 200? When you see them come in and out all the time and stay an hour or so, you know. Also Colombians can pick out not just American and Venezuelans easily but lower class Colombians.

But honestly you can tell just from the way a woman is with a man and how she carries herself. I kissed my ex-fiancé good bye and the cabbie said I had a pretty GF. I thought why say GF and not think ho? Then I realized he could tell by how she looked at me and kissed me.

I had one woman and put her on the reservation but she dressed so ho like the manager charged me for her because I had brought in other women before her. He did not want to have his hotel be a ho hotel in Medellin, and she looked like one.

On the other hand, I was dating someone that without me even naming her, she was able to get the hotel to give her a key. She also was able to get management to escort her up, and they called delighted in telling me my GF was there. She grew up upper middle class and showed it. She was five foot and carried herself like everyone's favorite little sister and charmed the shit out of everyone.

My current gal is five ten and has to stay aloof so as not to attract the attention of men. She gives off an upper class vibe when she talks but I could see how someone might think she is a ho if they did not talk to her, but you better not miss with her. She looks well connected (and is) so if you are wrong with her, your ass in a sling. Last thing any hotel would want is calling someone like her a working girl. No one has ever said anything to her but I have seen some questioning looks. Once she speaks or is seen with me, those questioning looks become smiles.

Hell, one of the ways I knew a girl was SB or GF material was how the hotel reacted to her. Did the staff recoil or were they delighted at her presence? If hotel staff thinks she is a ho, there is a good chance everyone else will too.

I've been staying there the last 5 years when I have gone to Bogota, usually as a stopover to go somewhere else in Colombia, so short visits of 2 or 3 nights mostly. Once I stayed there 2 weeks and another time 1 week.

I always reserve for 2 and am a All Accor member. One of my November visits was a little odd. I have never registered a guest. I have either walked right to the elevators with a lady or we've had food and / or drinks at the hotel restaurant. You can be lucky and get a nice girl anywhere. There are no magic places / cities. If you go to a small city to find a girl, you are looking for a headache and troubles. There is a lot less choice and local people see you as a gringo who came to fuck their women. If you are lucky you'll find a few girls, if not you will fuck someone who has a pussy just because you are here and a pussy in front of you and there is no other choice. Next, as prev said, you will find a lot of girls live very far from Bogota but if you've invested a bit of time and want to meet them so it can be a waste of time.

When I meet a chick on a website the very second or third thing I ask is what part of whatever city they have in their profile that they live in. This will save you a ton of otherwise wasted time.
