I was trying to see what this lockdown looks like. It sounds like it's just the same as normal curfews and quarantine. You can still move around. Is this correct?

Night curfew is very strict, only exceptions to be in the street is emergency or from or to the airport with a valid boarding pass. During quarantine on friday saturdayy or sunday, if any control you can always claim you are heading to a pharmacy or a food store. Trouble is that during quarantaine nearly everything is closed, so there is not so much to do outside anyhow. Regarding the punter scene, you will only have day scene from Monday to Thursday such as massage parlours, day brothels and of course internet escort. From Friday to Sunday during the day, you can only rely on internet escort and street action in santa Fe. I do not advice to go out by night during the curfew.

Just to update everyone, She did end up calling the police on me for harassment, but I just showed the cops my whatsapp messages from her and stating that I stopped talking to her since last week, she was the one harassing me. Sorry for the late response, I ended up moving to another place since I kept getting random packages sent to my apartment or she would come to my area and stalk me. I ended up cutting my losses on the apartment for the peace of mind.

Funnily enough the cops told me via google translator "Hotels cost 80-120 mil for the night, its a good investment if you want to avoid these situations with a girl you just met".

Ecellent advice, I guess they meant the so called love motels. Apart from safety, no girl that goes with you in a love motel can claim there was no consent.

Covid numbers are higher then ever, which makes the autorithies very nervous. Starting today Bogota is on curfew every night between 8 pm and 5 am. All these restrictions keep changing, it is ver confusying even for locals. I will try to sum them up:

National restrictions:

- no nightclubs and events with public.

- masks are mandatory everywhere.

- land borders are closed.

- air ban with Brasil.

- Negative covid test of less than 96 hours to enter Colombia.

Restrictions in Bogota:

- during daytime, you can enter malls and shops depending parity of ID.

- strict restrictions Friday, Saturday and Sunday, only for buying food, medecine or 1 hour sport, no alcohol.

Most good models (read UW, JHU etc) predict May 15 to be the date after which ICU resource use will fall under the capacity of available ICU beds. I think planning a trip for late May is the prudent course of action. Fingers crossed. Of course, even now travel is not banned, only curfews and restrictions. But again, things may change.

You need to clarify your definition of girl friendly. There are places that will not allow chicks at all, which is of course girl friendly. But then there are places that will only allow chicks at certain hours of the day. There are places that make you pay a fee for chicks. There are places that allow only the chick you register when you check in. There are places that allow unlimited guests with no fee. There are combinations of these.

Hotel San Francisco allows 1 guest then charge a fee for any after that.

I am sure most mongers here are aware what the term 'girl friendly' hotel means. I meant 'all' of the scenarios. With additional fee, without additional fee, specific hours, more than one, Chica's dressing contributing to the decision etc.

Don't pay extortion money. She won't report anything because she knows that Police won't trust puta's story. Don't act like you are worried, it will tempt putas for extortion and other bad behavior. Just dump her. In case police give you an inquiry, though 0. 01 percent chance, you just deny everything and / or give a gift to them. Again, this is very unlikely.

I see a ton of nice airbnbs and hotels in Chapinero. I am assuming these are not GF friendly or is there an upcharge?

Teqendama Suites is Girl friendly and 5 minutes from SF.

There are great AirBnBs in the Teusaquillo area (same area as Ibis) or look around Calle 19 and Carrera 5 -- that is the Bacata building-- it's a high-rise with Great amenities -- lotta nice places to eat around there -- Good casinos too, and about 10 minute walk to SF.

I just had a great lunch steak at the Bacata Tower Casino for $6.

I won't walk through Bogota at night but is it safe to walk from Chapinero to Santa Fe during the day?

It's safe on daytime, but it's a pretty good distance to walk.

Whenever I come to Bogota / Colombia, I bring a portable heater with me. It is very useful, and the girls love it.

Bogota is very windy, as well as cold. I personally love rainy days though.

That's a first, you actually carry with you a portable heater like something that you pick up in the US at a Home Depot, wow, do you leave it in Bogota or cart it back home?

Now that I think of it you are on to something. This is a good idea.

I recall back in 2009 I had a very special girl in Bogota and I would be returning to see her again in a few months and what special gift would she like from LA California when I return, her reply was a heating blanket. Yep it was a hit with her but I did not realize the space a heating blanket takes up when you try to fold it up, all those heating elements are bulky and can be heavy with the whole blanket.

BTW. Fast forward 13 years later to today 2021 and that special ATF favorite rolla in Bogota has been living in Argentina for the past 8 or 9 years and from time to time we say Hi and catch up and no she did not need to take the heating blanket to Argentina but rather has gifted it to her mother who now lives in Fusagasug, Cundinamarca and still enjoying the comforts of it to this day.

Chapinero is a good 2-3 miles north you could walk or take Transmilenio which runs through Chapinero There are casa near stops Marly, Calle 57, Calle 63, Flores, Calle 72, Calle 76 or there were-- Stay on Transmilenio to Calle 100 and you can walk to La Meezzanine.

I am okay with complying with the requirements at the airports and temp checks at hotels / clubs, do understand the need for it. I seriously doubt we would return to the good ol days as you put it. I think we all have to learn to live with the 'new normal'.

After RTFF, I have couple of quick questions. Two of the most mentioned 'GF friendly' hotels. San Francisco de Ass and IBIS. Can you walk to from the two hotels or do you still require taxis to go to chapinero and SF street scene? In Medellin, I really hated the traffic from Poblado to Centro everyday.

While I would certainly hit the norte clubs and massage parlors, after reading reviews I think I would primarily be day casa and street scene guy. Considering the multitude of mongering options in BOG, I do not see a need to develop an FB chica list in BOG? Any pointers will be appreciated.
