My gal and I have some good natured ribbing about Colombia. I love the country but like seeing her get defensive when I attack it. In fact, her daughter has started mimicking me and says whenever something does not work, "Typical Colombia". I have tried being nicer but I could not resist, "Oh so people in Bogota are dying of thirst and you all in Cartagena decided to help them by taking a day off? That sounds like the Colombian mindset in action."
I had just read when it comes to water as an issue Colombia is in the bottom 10% of countries in the world, https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/wh...e-highest-2050
In the countryside I have seen the lakes, the rivers, and been drenched in Bogota's frequent rain storms, so I asked my gal, "How on earth can Bogota be having a water problem?
And she said, "Well, Cartagena is fine. " LOL.
She then said something about there being less rain than usual which I guess now is a bad thing.
So I just wanted to confirm then that yes the water issue in Bogota is very real and when you cannot shower and are stinking up the joint, just remember the people of Cartagena are with you. They may not stand to close to you but they are with you.

Hey Folks,
This review of Lux Spa could piggyback off of a most recent review. Put Lux Spa into a google map search, it worked for me. Excellent service. No sketchy-ness here. Nice neighborhood. Address number clearly on wall. Look for big L sign above on black gate post. Step into court yard and ring buzzer at door. A sweet young lady named Alejandra opened the door and ultimately oversees the whole process. She whipped out the translator fast when needed, although she seems to know some english. Eight ladies introduced themselves. I could have spent time with six of them. 270 K gets you up the stairs for 1 hour. Clean room with massage table. Glass enclosed shower in corner. Soft music. Nice ambiance. Nice rub-down. Covered oral and full sex. Shared shower to clean off the oil. The place truly seems clean and well managed. I will repeat. I hope this helps!

Posts: 4Where is the proper professional massage?
Hi folks,
So, I am about half way through this 11 day stay in BOG. I have visited BOG in the past. I started off at The Hotel Tequendama and had my first exposure to Santa Fe. I enjoyed a session with a pleasant chica that was posted near a doorway. Now have re-located near Parque El Virrey. I enjoyed a visit yesterday at Tantra Spa and left with a phone number. I appreciate the info I have gained from contributors past.
My question, where is the professional massage by a talented, trained and experienced masseuse? This does not need to include happy ending. Probably best it not, so as not to be distracted. I have googled. I wonder what the best search word is? Estica, spa, salon. I see that I am near a business named BogoThai massage. No hot stones or aroma needed, just an hours worth of proper massage for a reasonable price. Also, as a side, always trying to learn that best chica friendly hotel if I pull my new friend from her casa. Best of luck! Thanks in advance.

One day, I passed three names. One is real and the other is just the girl first name from SA and the last one is fake.
I bought the girl with the SA first name, and it turned out she has a completely different name on her cedula.
The security did check and found her name did not match and then the drama begins.
The security called and told her she had to wait at the lobby till the landlord approved her and she only had 20 minutes or else she had to leave the apartment.
This is completely new to me. Unlucky we did not even start the foreplay, but she had limited time, and she would not even want to go to the hotel after that.
It wasted me 20 k mil of uber money and on top of that that girl will not want to see me again and she is cute.
Now I learn my lesson and I will not book any Airbnb as such. This place has other features also get on my nerve and I am thinking giving it a 2 stars review.

Posts: 21LUX Spa. Near Zona T / Atlantis
Had a nice visit with what I THINK is a newer place. LUX Spa, located around Zona T. Just a short walk south of the Atlantis shopping center. Arrived and was greeted by the front desk staff who spoke a little English. I was already communicating with them earlier in the day using WhatsAp. A line up of maybe 8 girls, who were all quite attractive. My biggest issue is I can never remember the names by the time the introductions are over. I picked Catalina, a traditional Colombia girl beauty in red lingerie. I was led to a massage room and paid for 1 hour at 270 k. Was given a nice massage, with some slippery body to body backsliding. Flipped and had enjoyable covered full service. After that moved to a nice sauna room with her, an exfoliating skin treatment, and shower with assistance. I liked the place, really happy with the location being easy to get to. I will repeat.

Posts: 210PSA. There might be electricity rationing too
I don't want to sound alarmist. But if you are booking a trip this month / next month. You should probably book a hotel or airbnb with an easy cancellation policy. I would assume that most would be easy to refund if there was no electricity. But, if you are here for a few days and then the power is out for 24 hours, I could see it being a hassle to get a refund.
If they end up rationing power. It seems likely it will be similar to how they did the water which is different sections of the city are without it for 24 hours at a time.
This article is saying "we dont think there will be". But figured I would post it here because better safe than sorry.

Posts: 513You should have complained to airbnb. I complained to my airbnb host and he refunded for the days I had left on my reservation. I did however ask beforehand if visitors were permitted and my host confirmed that they were. I argued that having to write to him for each visitor is not the common understanding of "permitted" and I should have been informed of this procedure beforehand.

Don't stay in these kinds of places and complain to the owners. I wrote a post about this before. If its truly for the protection of foreigners, the exact same thing can be accomplished by just providing ID at reception of the building. It makes more sense and its easier for everyone. And most buildings already do it that way. The only logical reason why I can see for this policy is that they are trying to cut down on sex tourism. Don't stay at these places. How are you going to go out at night and bring someone home when you have to message the host on airbnb at 2 am in the morning and wait for them to reply. Maybe you'll get to bring her up to your place when your host wakes up at 8 am.
