For the last 11 years, I have made 4-5 trips to South America yearly. Uruguay then Argentina now Columbia. I have been to 4 different major cities in Colombia and Bogota is my favorite. Cool, I get to be a 1%er, and my Spanish is just intermediate. I think it's like Bango Cheito says, YMMV. Plus, being in the right place at the right time. A couple years ago, I dated (for quite a while) a beautiful Costa Rican girl. She was busty on top of that. We happened to meet by chance at a social event. I was 37, she was a college student that came to the States to study, from a well off family. She even paid for our outings. She certainly wasn't after money (because I don't have it), so it must have been my looks.
