Just returned from a few days in Bogota. I stayed in the Parque 93 area because work paid for the hotel. I had a great time from non-pro I met. She returned every evening so I had no need to search after 7 or 8pm. Plus it was the week of Semana Santa. Sunday through Wednesday was fine. Thursday the city seemed deserted and I flew out Friday.
Here's what I found:
Traffic sucks. Transmillenio is the only way to move North and South especially later in the day. Cabs are a minimum $5, 000 on festivals.
I went to the Mezzanine on 104 and 15th. I have been there on previous trips and until someone posted about the doors around back I did not know they were there. I had always found something in the doors that faced the main street. Worth the time to go look around back. Cost was $70,000 with a 22 year old girl who's name I don't know. There were girls there that had better bodies but she seemed friendly and smiled a lot. I banked on attitude and she did good. I wasn't disappointed but wouldn't repeat with her. No tip but she didn't act like she was expecting one so I didn't offer. I like this place and would recommend it. I have had the price fluctuate between 70k and 80k. Service for me has always been good and the selection always has something I am attracted to. I have never had a bad experience here or walked away because of the selection. The girls all seem to be 20-30, mostly 7 and 8's on the bodies, and as many spinners as big ones. I don't like the small rooms which lack any privacy but for $70,000 and the consistency, it's worth a visit.
I went to OZ strip club on Saturday night. Like all clubs they frisk you and charged us $10, 000 to get in. I protested but they said it was standard. I just paid it and went inside. The action is upstairs and the stage is a big L where all the seats are front row. The girls were young, mostly pretty, decent bodies, and expensive. Everything was expensive, too expensive. My Spanish is not very good so maybe I missed something. The beers were in the range of $20, 000 or so and they mainly wanted to sell us a bottle and not single drinks. My buddy for it at all, said he had a bad vibe, and we soon left. I would have liked to have hung out and see what happened. I believe they were trying to overcharge us but I also believe that even if they weren't it would have been on the high end for Bogota. Take some money, spend some time, and report back. I think it would have been a very fun place but expensive.
I went to Chicas 2000? Or what ever it's name is around 10pm Saturday night. World Travel 69's report lists three all in the same area.
Calle 71-14a 27;
Calle 71-14a 70.
Calle 71-14a 33.
The guy at the front door said the other two were closed and I didn't see any lights on further down the street. Pricing was 30, 000 for 30 minutes. She tried to upsell in the room. I told her I would give her a tip if it was good and it was and I did. About 10 girls who were mostly 5 and 6's, a few 7's. Most were 20-30, a couple were thin, but most were bigger. A black girl had a great body and was decent looking.
I walked through Sante Fe on Wednesday around 3. I've been there before and found something I liked. I saw a couple of possibilities but nothing that I had to have. Never felt unsafe but I kept moving and was aware of my surroundings. I didn't go into any of the daytime clubs and looking back I should have. Previous trips I have found a few in there that were pretty good.
I would like to add a place to World Travel 69's list:
Apertura Via Spa
Carrera 13A No. 79-71.
Facebook. Com / spa. Viazonat.
Hours are 9am to 10pm.
An hour is from $120, 000 to $160, 000. Depends on what you want.
Found them in the El Tiempo paper. The manager's name is Johanna and she speaks very good English. They have a range of options in a nice place. They have a lady who offers a real massage for $40, 000 or add a happy ending to it and it is $80, 000. She's very good, professional, and the happy ending is more of a total relaxation part of a real massage. Highly recommended.
The place is on the third floor and not hard to find. You walk up the stairs and into the lobby. They take you to a couch in the back where the girls come by and introduce themselves. You pick, go to the room. They offer you a shower or sauna before or after. They also give you key to a locker for your clothes. Then the girls give you an oil massage using their body. You can choose how you want to finish. I believe it was around $120, 000 for HJ up to $160, 000 for full service. I went two days and the first Johanna was there and I thought she said it was $140, 000 for full service but when I went back they said $160, 000. First time I did the real massage but the next time I opted for more. The girl I chose had a 9 body. 8.5 face, and 10 attitude. She took the whole hour and then took me to the shower. Very sweet girl, great attitude, and seemed to enjoy her job. If I would have found her earlier in the week I would have spent a LOT of money on her!
All in all I enjoy Bogota. There is a lot to do in the between times. Visit the museums and the bars in La Candelaria. Cheap and fun.Last edited by Doubt98; 04-30-11 at 15:04. Reason: spelling

Saturday should be a little better, but not much, as I am hoping it will be in Buenos Aires, where I am now.

I unsuccessfuly attempted to obtain directions from the Embassy Suites Hotel Calle 70 22 to Paisas Club in Zona Rosa.
Any idea about the distance and Taxi charge? The two locations showed on the Google Map, but no distances, it looked far. I usually pay about $15 from the airport to the Embassy Suites, Zona Rosa looked much farther.

I normally visited Santa Fe from mid-afternoon (3:00 pm) to 8:00 pm. I really never felt in danger. I always walked to and from Santa Fe and the hotel without any problems. If you don't go wandering off down some dark lonely street, you should be ok.
The hotel bathrooms in the single room are small. The rooms on the second floor are bigger than the ground floor rooms (and quieter) so be sure to ask for an upper floor room. No room safe. Small room refrigerator. Free breakfast. Free wi-fi. Late check-out (4:00 pm). Good hot water shower flow. Friendly staff. Cable TV.
I was told the hotel is chica friendly, but I have no personal experience.

I arrive in Bogota on Friday. Should I write Friday off as a no-hoper, will everything be closed? What about Saturday? What about Sante Fe? Thanks in advance.

Posts: 15Medium budget means different things to different people. I thought Suites Real 85 at $100 was a little pricier than I wanted, but I had zero trouble with chicas coming in. They have a policy of charging for overnight guests. I was charged for one overnight guest, she stayed until 7 am. Most of the other guests were out by 5 am. I think as long as the chica is out by the time the daytime front desk clerk is on duty, you're fine.
I didn't stay anywhere else, so I can't comment. It really is nice to have a place that is walkable. Which Suites Real 85 was. If I wanted to go super budget, I contemplated El Virrey. Which is around Santa Fe so more dangerous. I also contemplated Hotel Charlie's (http://www.hotelcharlies.com/).
Personally, I'd go back to Suites Real 85.

Posts: 15I never left zona rosa last month when I was there, but you are totally find moving around at night there and parque 93. I never once felt threatened, and I'm as gringo looking as you get. They say Santa Fe is dangerous at night.
The taxis were very ethical I thought. Take the yellow taxis and you'll be fine. This is extremely rough, but each ride should cost less than COP 1k for a 1 minute ride. I took many rides that were 5k or less. They have this digital display on the cabs with a rising number as they go. Then they take that number and compare it to a laminated sheet they have and give you a price. I never felt cheated.

Posts: 15I don't have addresses for these clubs, but I never needed them. As you walk around Zona Rosa. Mostly on calle 82 around carrera 14 and 15 (near the Rock and Jazz casino) , you'll be approached by many guys offering you chicas. Tell them where you want to go and they'll guide you there. Of note. The salida at El Cedro was 100k. You can also get other things from these guys if you want. I asked one guy for perico and he left for 5 minutes and was back with 2 grams for COP 40k.
I never went to El Cedro earlier than 1 am, but I'm told it's open until 6 am.
El Padrino seemed to close at 3 am.
